  1. And solution fixed. As usual, forum digging found: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3989675-settlements-no-floor-collision-in-any-settlement/ Solution was removing ( bUseCombinedObjects=0 ) from my ini. I recall one of the mods recommended adding that line. Guess that mod's getting the boot.
  2. Okay, so after uninstalling ALL mods and verifying the game... problem is still there. Either it's a corruption on the save or a core game bug that I keep getting.
  3. I've had this problem for a long while now, and still haven't seen any confirmation on what mod causes it. Simply put, a lot of my settlements are missing collision for what I'm using in build mode, but keep it for everything else (PC, NPCs, bullets). Specifically, Taffington Boathouse(but only bottom floor of the house), the Mechanist's Lair (only the concrete floors). A few other sites, as well, but these 2 are the most agressive cases. Used to think it was a Spring Cleaning thing, because the issue appeared in its discussion thread, but I haven't even installed that mod since my recent reformat. My only suspicion is maybe Homemaker is responsible, but I've never seen any mention of this bug on its forum. 4. Honestly, I'm not inherently against paying for mods. But I can never trust a mod not to break something I won't know about until I've reached a point where I need to start over. And that's why I never will. On the case of whether they deserve to get paid, modding always seemed to me like an Internship. You aren't going to get paid. It was about learning the trade, showing your talents, and getting your name out there. You either learn from it and find your way to a long-term career, or you burn out and leave it behind you. Plenty of talented modders even do both.
