  1. With Christmas around the corner I would love to be able to "gift" people a premium membership as a present. Could anything like this be added or would it be too tricky to implement? And yes I know it's not even October but I thought it best to ask early.
  2. Mods, Keyboard and Mouse. Need any more be said?
  3. It's been 10 days since the upgrade and I can definitely say that the site is like 100% faster. I love it.
  4. I have introduced 3 people to Fallout 3 and it really does take a good hour with the game to appreciate how awesome it is. It's like 30 bucks and you can return it if you don't like it, what have you got to loose?
  5. Okay, you asked for it! Previous Characters: Name: James (My real name, didn't know Dad's name) Gender: Male Level: 20 (Pre-BS) Quests Completed: 31 Locations Discovered: 120 SPECIAL: 10 7 8 3(+) 6 9 8 Highest Skill: Explosvies, Lockpick, Repair, Science, Sneak and Speech at 100 People Killed: 391 Creatures killed: 533 Current Karma: Very Good Current Game Date: 1st November 2277 Hours Played: 61 DLCs installed: Anchorage Name: Emma Gender: Female Level: 20 (Pre-BS) Quests Completed: 37 Locations Discovered: 113 SPECIAL: 10 7 9 2 6 8(-) 9 Highest Skill: Everything at 100 People Killed: 428 Creatures killed: 672 Current Karma: Very Bad Current Game Date: Saturday 28th October 2277 Hours Played: 61 DLCs installed: Anchorage and The Pitt Name: James Jr. (Yeah, I lack originality) Gender: Male Level: 30 Quests Completed: 62 Locations Discovered: 137 SPECIAL: 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 Highest Skill: Everything at 100 People Killed: 588 Creatures killed: 840 Current Karma: Very Good Current Game Date: Hours Played: 61 DLCs installed: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel and Point Lookout Current: Name: Rosa Ruland (Name generator madness :D) Gender: Female Level: 8 Quests Completed: 8 Locations Discovered: 22 SPECIAL: 10 7 4 3 7 5 5 Highest Skill: Repair and Small guns at 50 People Killed: 35 Creatures killed: 76 Current Karma: Very Bad Current Game Date: Sunday 26th August 2277 Hours Played: 10 DLCs installed: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel and Point Lookout Is it wrong that I knew the majority of that without opening Fallout?
  6. I think I'm the complete opposite :D Modifying the game yourself is indeed fun. Wanna make a fat man that shoots 50,000 nukes at once? Why not! Wanna make it so your megaton house is 10 stories high? Go ahead! And I know you said not to mention side quests but really there are so many how on earth could you get bored! But if you are REALLY bored, don't force yourself to play. There's not much point in playing a game if you aren't enjoying yourself.
  7. Oh god, I have a real bad fear of glass floors. This may be the hardest DLC yet. I swear if at any point the glass floor breaks and you fall I quit F3 forever.
  8. I didn't know you could read books and sold about half of the books in the game because they had high cap rates. I then read loads without getting comprehension. I didn't know you could quick bind weapons to number keys. I didn't know the pip boy had a torch. I thought the house items were a waste of caps and instead used the doctors to heal my rads. The first follower I got was charon, I bought him for one thing because I didn't like killing, and because he came with 20 shotgun shells I thought I had to supply his ammo/weapons and kept him fully stocked with my best Chinese Assault Rifle for most the game. Cars. Didn't find the Quantam quest until right near the end of the game, by then I had sold/drank almost all of them. Thankfully after I completed my first game and wasn't afraid of spoilers I looked all this stuff up via a guide.
  9. This was totally one of those moments where I had to reload an old save just to play it again and take in all the mindf*#@.
  10. My favourite line is "The player can create their own homemade weapons like a "dart gun" and "bottlecap mine" which encourage domestic terrorist activities. How many kids might be inspired to make their own pipe bombs after playing this game?" I loled so hard. No, wait one of the reply tops that - "So you think a game were you can get hacked copies of were you can sodomize, dismember and eat the corpses of those people you just murdered is funny? What are you European or something?" :D
  11. http://www.landoverbaptist.org/tos.html (Check right at the bottom, "spoiler alert") It's all satirical yet still hilarious.
  12. Depends on what you define as a sound. If you mean the electrical impulses in a brain, then no. If you mean the vibrations in the air, then yes. None. You have clearly stated that the person walking down the roads is a man to begin with. Who needs scientists when you got me. ;P But I want 100 years of testing with real people walking down roads!
  13. I would probably drop it, they are heavy! But seriously, I would have thousands of the top scientists in the world all working towards the common goal of solving the most important questions such as - If a tree falls and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound? How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man? etc. etc. That or just make them worship me and keep them under my thumb by putting slave collars on them with different settings (Why don't the slavers do this? Give them a harsh zap instead of killing them and loosing caps!) Or I could start a vault with the cover-up of a Nuka-Cola Production plant. I would have them all working on making caps so I will be rich when we leave. I would have a door that leads to nowhere and tell them that it leads to the "other half of the vault" where they are making the nuka-cola. I would tell them not to touch the door and wire it up to the mains just to be safe. Enlist today!
  14. Yup, the only way to get the dlcs legally is to either buy them via LIVE (10 bucks each last I checked) or buy the retail double pack they just released and wait for them to release the other 2/3.
