  1. This is a project I shelved but I figured I'd share it. Maybe someone will take an interest and share in it's implementation to Fallout 4. It needs a better .50cal http://i.imgur.com/8YivhtG.png
  2. Just like the title says, I'd love to see a crowbar that looks like this in Fallout4 to smite my enemies with vengeance. Thanks to anywho's interested. http://shawnswift.com/RPF/crowbar/crowbar2.jpg
  3. I don't understand why there can't be a compromise? There must be a way to keep both skins and have them be able to switch within the game. Or at least have the bot use the same skin map and pinch one of them to fit the other. It's tedious but would well be worth it.
  4. It's ignored in the case of body textures, the skin shader swaps what ever texture you put there in place of what ever races texture the actor is. It's set up in the races CK entry not the nif. I've uploaded a sample of the alternative body setup. Could you please try it out and see if it is working properly?
  5. Here is what I've tried so far I've used the regular body files but simply apended 'a' to the beginning. Please if someone would look and see if this is working on theirs or if there is a tweak that can be applied. #NSFW bodytest
  6. I'm still having no luck. Would anyone be interested in trying my edit on their system?
  7. I'm attempting to use the old version of SilverX10 body as my base body, however many of the new armor mods require CBBE or UNB in order for the body textures to play nicely. To this end I've tried opening up the body mesh then in NifSkope and modify NiNode>NiTriShape>BSLighting...>BSShaderText...>Textures and modify the path of the texture to an area to say "textures\actors\character\altBodyTextures\test_a.dds" Apparently the changes are saved to the file but are not adhered to in the game which will use the default location and apply those files. To this end I ask how should I approach this so I can use one body mesh's textures for armor mods, and another for my default body?
  8. I'm curious how people are currently backing up their characters they create in Skyrim. I currently am taking screenshots in the race menu and eyeballing it for a new game. I guess facegen doesn't work for Skyrim now that there's a new format for the morph file. So what are your thoughts/methods for backing up your creations?.
  9. I'm sure this might have been talked about once or twice, but is there a certain process involved in transferring mods from Oblivion into Skyrim. I've tried simply renaming the files to replace default weapons but am getting the error symbol instead of my swords. I know there has to be a methods since I've seen a few releases from the old game.
