  1. Greetings Nexus. I used to play Oblivion a long time ago and now i'm looking to play it all again. I'm searching for a mod that i used to have, and it was very useful. However, its name was in german, i think, and its very hard to remember. (It was two words, first one with P i think) The mod added two vases, that you could drop and insert items inside. You could mixture two items using it ; For example, insert one sword in one, insert another sword in the other, and it crafted an item with the stats of the first and appearance of the second. I dont remember the name of the mod, however, and if anyone here remembers it or knows another utility that does the same, please post. Thanks (:
  2. Hello everyone~ I'm currently editing a mod (Cybernetic Dawn), trying to remove some of its features and preserving others. It may be unethical but i dont plan releasing it at all ; its more of a learning session for me. I hate all the NPC's that it adds, all of those overpowered robots and equipment breaking the game. However i love the terminator races, so i'm trying to remove everything and keep only the races for me. I went to GECK and checked all of the hunter-killers and other npcs that are around the wastes, checked their use-list and deleted all of them from their respective places. While the npcs still exist, they're not being used anymore. For some reason, after that, ALL of the features from the mod stop working in-game. The npcs that i didnt deleted, disappeared ; the races from the list, disappeared ; all of the equipment the mod adds, disappeared too. What did i do wrong? I actually did this twice, having the same results. Does anyone have any idea of whats going on? If so, please help. THanks in advance, Leon EDIT: I noticed that whenever i change ANYTHING in the mod, absolutely ANYTHING, the mod simply stops working as if it was corrupted. Although the file remains the same (even with the same filesize), Fallout 3 seems just to ignore it. Apparently i cant change anything in the mod or Fallout will ignore all of its contents.
  3. Greetings. This may be already posted here somewhere, but i didnt found any mention to it... Anyway... I was wandering around the world near the Skyrim north border with my Akatosh Shadow mount when i noticed it. At northwest of Cloud Ruler Temple (~120 meters NW), there's a strange staircase with lit torches on it and a chest, that apparently contains only random valueless stuff. It does not have any marker on the map, or any road near it. Odd, huh... I've already played a lot of quests but didnt find anything related to that place specifically. To reach it: Go to Cloud Ruler Temple. Go up it's staircase and go left as soon the stairs end, crossing that little garden. If you have Distant Land, you should notice some construction at your left, in the mountains (northwest) http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/2623/screenshot39m.png Keep on going. http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1103/screenshot41s.png http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/2705/screenshot42.png And finally... http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/1784/screenshot43.png I may have a LOT of mods installed, but i'm sure this is vanilla. It's even on OBLIVION MAPS! http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8431/omgzpz.jpg Now tell me folks, what's the purpose of this staircase and chest? Does it have any quest related?
  4. Halberds and polearms! Throwing knives! Longbows! Dwemer Crossbows! Dual-Wielding weaponry! a Lance, for horse combat and jousting! a huge, spiked shield that you can bash people with! Special gloves that increase hand-to-hand damage! Spiked Gauntlets!!! And some kind of special, mysterious, unique and powerful sword, Excalibur-like, with a very-hard non-leveled sidequest behind it! *-*
  5. I'm getting a little tired from the vanilla's Dungeon Crawling and it would be good if i had some new places to explore with creative new monsters or something like that (Lost Paladines of the Divines, for example). Anyone recommend a good one for me?
  6. I have a solution that probably will work. First, use a SetEssential Spell mod to make your huge Sheogorath not essential anymore. Then, use your Console abilities to defeat his ass. And bingo, you have your throne room back. Use this spell (requires OBSE): http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20509 OR Find him in CS and mark him as unessential.
  7. I dont think so. The only difference that makes when you complete his quest is that he teaches you some combat moves and his conversation is different. But in the Arena, i saw no other difference.
  8. Seems that you're not much of a fighter, eh? They were easy for me (i entered Arena at level 18, i think  and wielding a 2 handed weapon)
  9. When using my favorite Knight character, my fighting style gravitates between extreme offense and extreme defense. As soon as my weapon is unsheathed, i run towards the enemy, in a berserk furious charge, using a forwards power attack (to f*ck up their health). Then, i use the following combo: Block, counter attack (power attack or 2 fast swings after blocking) or Backwards power attack (to knock out). With my Stealthy character, i just use my Chameleon and Bow. Arrow in da head, sneak attack 6x, that's it: game over for him.
  10. Hammerite:

    Come back here, you Taffer!

  11. You visited my profile!

    Be always welcome ;)

  12. vindasel = vin diesel? oh wow you made my day ;D that's so funny dx Yeah, you're right! Hahahahah! So, your turn ;)
  13. Hmm... it's no one's turn? So it's MY turn! What's the name of this Ayleid Ruin that the Knight is standing inside? Some clues: 1) Most players enter there for the loot 2) Related to a Daedric quest 3) The name is similar to the name of an real actor. http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/6431/screenshot25s.png Can you guys guess?
  14. Uh, that's not the kind of gal i would date... I mean... she's... dark blue.
  15. Mod: Deadly Reflex. Race: Chocolate Elves and/or Mystic Elves. Weapon: Any Dwarven. They have a mysterious, "legendary" feel in it. Weapon Type:One-handed Longswords, followed by Two-handed Blunt Hammers and Axes, and then Bows. Armor Type: Heavy Armors (Ebony or Dwarven), followed by normal clothes. Magic Spell: Paralyze. Lots of fun. Hang out spot: Oak and Crosier (with Talasma), or random dungeons with Bandits inside. Food: Strawberries. So rare, so tasty. Daedrea: The standard Kynreeve tropp and Daedroths (they are definitely fearsome).
  16. It would be so cool if you had other Empires to explore, like Akavir! Doing some quests to gain your own ship, or renting one with the pirates in Imperial City Waterfront... Going south, after the Topal Bay, and exploring a brand new oceanic world *-*
  17. Went off Skingrad, traveled a little bit... jumping and running across the beautiful lands... Enjoying the view... and... suddenly fell from a cliff. I took almost TWO WEEKS PLAYING to discover that you can scroll down the conversation topics with your mouse wheel. And i just recently discovered (i'm almost making 55 hours of game with my other character, and 33h with the first one) that... you can hotkey weapons and magic. Funniest enough, i assaulted the Imperial Palace (in the Ultimate Heist) only with 2 lockpicks (i forgot all the other ones in my house, god damn roleplay). That meant A LOT OF SAVES AND LOADS. Only after finishing the Thieves and Mages Guilds questline, i ran across the Nocturnal's Shrine and got the Skeleton Key. And i was like "aww man... Ultimate Heist would be SO MUCH EASIER..." That's not a newbie thing, but (for some reason) i usually challenge myself and try to pick arrows shot against me before they reach my body. Which is pretty impossible. In the end of the Main Quest, i tried to take Mehrune Dagon down with my battle axe. And failed. Twice. And the biggest one: When travelling across the lands, i ran into some kind of empty farm. I entered it (didnt knew that the "red door" icon means ASSAULT) and found a Parchment (a stupid piece of paper). I grabbed it to further analysis. But that's technically stealing from the farm (stealing a unused piece of paper, man!). When i tried to talk with an Imperial Legion guard, he said "STOP! You violated the law!" and i first met the jail. Because of a clean piece of paper, in a empty farm, in the middle of NOWHERE.
  18. No. I don't know what happens in the end, though ( ). My longest fight was, believe it or not, against a standard Necromancer. Actually, she was pretty weak. I was using some of my worst equipment, and the necromancer Cured herself every time that i hit her with an arrow. I got 2 levels in Marksman and a general Level because of this (took probably three or four minutes in reality of pure arrow shooting). I was level 7. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/5537/screenshot22.png Lots of piercings.
  19. Using my Mighty 26-level Mystic Elf Warrior, i joined the Fighter's Guild, searching for more challenging endeavors, after becoming Champion of Cyrodiil. Azzan came to me and said that "Arvena Thelas has some kind of problem with rats. Go solve it". I just stared to him, like "I'm the Arena's Grand Champion and Cyrodiil's most powerful swordsman EVER - ARE YOU NUTS, redguard?" I went to the place, and found Arvena. She told me, "There's rats in my basement!!!" (i thought "WOW that's dangerous, huh?")... and then, "And something is killing them, my little babies!" After this, and the Necrophilia-lover alchemist in Skingrad, i never trusted in Dark Elves again.
  20. The top of the White Gold Tower, reached using mod. The Cloud Ruler Temple, with Martin, your dear friend and emperor, reading carefully the Mysterium Xarxes with that serious expression, together with Baurus, near the fireplace - Winter blowing outside. So relaxing! The Oak and Crosier, with the lovely Talasma for your company. I could spend all night long in the balcony, just talking to her, and drinking some Cyrodilic Brandy. Too bad she just talks about "Rumors" Dive Rock, for all obvious reasons. Rosethorn House, in Skingrad. The cooler, bigger and AWESOMENER house ever. The bridge, entering the Imperial City (horse riding there, sunset in the horizon, shining Dwarven armor and claymore in the back - Heart filled with courage and determination, all hail the mighty Champion of Cyrodiil!) And, lastly, any Ayleid Ruins. I often enter some, just to kick some Bandits and explore a little bit. I even sleep in them, sometimes (using the bedrolls mod)
