  1. I second this motion. A mod that just lets us build the vault 88 train cars would be excellent.
  2. Is it at all possible to completely change the settlement spawn points and reposition them so they make more sense? Two examples: Sanctuary has this bridge that everybody fortifies because it looks like an entry point for enemies - but enemies never spawn beyond the bridge, they rather attack from a different side. Would it be possible to move the spawn point that is closest to the bridge to the location of the dead raider and attack dog instead? Other example: Longfellow's cabin. The island where he resides has a single shallow landbridge that looks like the only way to access the island on foot. Yet the only spawn point for the settlement is on its eastern shore. So my request is: Either a mod that changes the existing spawn point positions to where they make more sense (and yes, I do use settlement attacks beyond, but it doesn't fix the issue I am talking about), or (ideally, if possible) make a mod that lets players reposition the enemy spawn points to where they want to have them. Is this doable or not? I have no clue about the functions and options of the creation kit, sorry.
  3. Thanks for answering, I appreciate it! I have got an addendum to my original post though. After continuing to play a little I can confirm now that every quest seems to be impossible to complete, no matter which one I start. Tried Vault 88, it got stuck after Clem's arrival. Tried "Take back the castle", it won't let me activate the radio tower after powering it. Even a 100 power generator seems to be inadequate to power it, as the power number in the workshop menu remains red. The radio tower has 100 power but cannot be activated. No matter which quest I start, after a while it gets stuck and cannot advance. In addition to that. settlement mode has become unplayable, because I cannot assign settlers to anything any more. A clean install indeed seems to be the only option. Maybe I should wait until Nuka World is out and patched, though? All those problems only appeared after the latest update.
  4. Hey there, people! I've run into several gamebreaking problems with my current game, and I am not entirely sure how to fix them - or if they are at all fixable. Three major problems have come up which made progressing the game impossible for me: 1st one: When playing Far Harcor DLC, upon turning in the quests for Small Bertha and Mitch, both questlines would not conclude/continue. Small Bertha told me to clear out a potential settlement and report back. Upon reporting back she greets me with generic one-liners. I cannot enter dialogue with her. The quest tells me to talk to her, but I cannot. I brought Mitch's dad back to him, and when I return to Mitch, the dialogue between his dad, me and Mitch plays until the end, but I receive no reward and the quest does not conclude, either. After a while the whole dialogue goes into a loop and Mitch's dad starts saying the same again. I can play through the whole dialogue endlessly but never reach the end of the quest. 2nd issue: After liberating the settlement for Small Bertha I went back there and wanted to build. Building works fine, but I cannot assign settlers to anything. Not even to harvest food. They simply won't do it. The message "resource assigned" never appears, and the settler never enters interaction with the object. I also cannot trade with any of the settlers present. Back in my old mainland settlements, I can still trade with settlers who are already there, but I also cannot assign them to any other tasks. 3rd issue: When doing the Automatron quest with Ada, I was able to loot the radio beacon from the robobrain, but now the quest tells me to build a robot workbench at Red Rocket Truck Stop. Only, when I do build it, the quest does not recognize me doing so and remains stuck. No new dialogue with Ada is available. I can build robots, but not continue the quest. The radio beacon is unavailable as modification for Ada. I will attach a file showing my whole mod collection. I read about issues similar to mine on consoles without mods, but maybe one of my mods caused this mess and I simply don't know which one. Also: I don't know if this is related, but I recently tested two mods that turned out to be non-functional, so I deinstalled them again. After deinstalling my old save would crash to desktop upon loading, so I researched how to fix this issue. I used the Fallout 4 savegame editor to remove the entries for the mod plugins I had deinstalled from the savegame data and make it a clean save again. Maybe using the editor screwed up my savegame? If anybody here can give me some insight into what is wrong with my game, I will be very grateful!

I would love to see more lore friendly weapons from previous games, based on real or fictional guns, such as: - the 5.56mm pistol (ammunition for this is already in game) - a H&K inspired 10mm (.45 optional) SMG - a .44 Desert Eagle (maybe as a unique?) with optional .50 mod - a .38 Police Revolver - the G3 inspired R91 assault rifle from Fallout 3 (was declared as the standard weapon of the national guard and the army there... Odd not to see it return in Boston with all the dead soldiers lying around) - the AK-inspired Chinese assault rifle from Fallout 3 (and the fake "assault rifle" should be renamed "machine gun" and made automatic by default... And maybe get a more M60 or SAW-inspired model, but with wood furnishings ofc) - the AR-15 based semiautomatic 5.56mm "Service Rifle" from NV (optional auto receiver) - an M14-based .308 "Battle Rifle" (and the combat rifle should be rechambered to 5mm... .45 is not a rifle cartridge afaik) - a .45 semiautomatic pistol based on the colt 1911 or similar Just to name some that I am missing...
