  1. Apologies for the late response, I haven't had access to my pc for a few days. HDT is indeed installed, as it is needed for the skirt physics, it was a requirement for the mod in question and afterwards I've also installed other physics mods dependent on HDT, Artesian Cloaks of Skyrim for instance. Honestly, I can't say for sure if anything is overwriting, but I'm really thinking nothing is. The mod uses its own meshes and textures and it doesn't seem to interfere with anything otherwise. The ENB thing was something I completely forgot about. Yes, I'm using it and I went to check if turning off the preset did anything, but the issue remains the same. So that's that troubleshooting step done. Anything else I can try? I mean, fine, its just an armor, I can uninstall it and be on my merry way, but this is bugging me and I'd like to get to the bottom of this.
  2. Hi guys, I usually try to troubleshoot problems myself by googling and searching forums/comments, but this time I really don't know where to look. Now, I must admit, this is in regards to an off-site armor set, I do hope I'm allowed to discuss those. I seem to be having this odd lighting bug where the top of the dress reflects light differently than the bottom. I believe that bottom piece is how it is supposed to look. Under certain lighting conditions it looks fine, but in most others, especially in interiors and shadows, the issue is clearly visible. Important information: - I've contacted the mod author but so far no response. - While the chestpiece of the armor is one piece in-game, there are two separate .NIF files for the top and dress part of the armor, the latter of which has HDT physics. - The previous point is ALL I can do in NifSkope: look. Well, that and follow guides. But I am no mod author and this was the very first time I opened the program.. - With about 100 other armor and clothing mods that are unaffected, plus some tests with other mods from the same author, I can say with certainty that the issue is specific to this armor only. - I use Vortex as my mod manager, have BodySlide and Outfit Studio attached to it and I did build the armor as per the author's instructions. I've got some images of the problem right here. If anyone would be able to steer me in the right direction, or if you're willing, write up some small steps for me to check and/or edit a few things in NifSkope (or Outfit Studio?), I'd be very grateful. If you need more info, I'll do my best to add what's needed. Thanks in advance!
  3. Allright, tried it. Everything works perfectly!  Thanks again!
  4. Thanks a lot! :thanks: Will try as soon as possible.
  5. So I was browsing the archives for some new armor, found it, installed it. I run the game, everything works perfectly so far. I find the armor in-game and put it on, and here's where the trouble starts: The meshes work perfectly, no crashes, nothing at all. But the textures aren't showing. All I see are fragments of what I believe to be standard textures (f.e: I saw a stripe of Brotherhood Power Armor). Checked to see if I accidentally dropped the textures-folder in the wrong place, but everything was right where it was supposed to be. Tried a different version of the game (1.7, after that, reinstalled and tried 1.0) but I get the same results. Then I removed the texture folder of the mod and ran the game again. Same result. So my guess is that the game doesn't recognise the textures folder, which is weird because the meshes work just fine... Any ideas on how this might have happened? Thanks in advance. Here's a picture that shows the problem: Mod with the issue And this is how it SHOULD look like: Correct working mod
