  1. I am not certain about this by any means, but I think looping sounds are in some way related to the controller on .nif files. Did you replace the sound using CK? No, I just switched out the sound file. So I need to change something in the minigun nif file?
  2. Isn't it possible to see what sound files are used in the dialogues with the creation kit? If not you can do this: In the Voice.ba2 you find PlayerVoiceFemale01 and PlayerVoiceMale01. They each have more than 12000(!) audio files which you can extract with Bethesda Archive Extractor and convert with YakitoriAudioConverter. 00065580_1.fuz seems to be a "No" for the female voice. 0015FC83_1.fuz is a "Yup".
  3. I replaced the sound for the minigun and it works. But when I stop shooting the shooting sound doesn't stop. Does anyone know how to fix that?
  4. Check if a mod changes the rain texture. If yes try to delete the dds file. The picture looks like the alpha channel of the rain texture has the wrong color. You could try and fix that yourself.
  5. Maybe you did accidentally deactivate a file of the original game? Depending on which DLC you have Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfire.esm or Dragonborn.esm need to be active. Maybe the logfiles says what's going wrong: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2791993
  6. In response to post #24811984. #24812039, #24813429, #24814149, #24814369, #24814459, #24814579, #24814829, #24815214, #24815539 are all replies on the same post. You are ignoring the fact that the buyer only has 24h to find out if the mod works or not. And you are ignoring that Valves approach to "What can the consumer do if a mod stops working at some point?" is "Well, you can ask the mod maker and if he doesn't fix it than you lost money!" Valve is fine with people losing money with their shitty paid mod system. The outcry was not just about Valve/Bethesdas cheap attitude towards modders but also that paying consumers are treated like s#*!.
  7. Can someone post the entire text of the blog in here: http://www.bethblog.com/2015/04/27/why-were-trying-paid-skyrim-mods-on-steam/ . No matter what I do I always get redirected to the german webpage and I like to read the english original.
  8. Are you running XP, Vista or Windows 7? Maybe check to make sure you are trying to run the patch as the Administrator? I'm running XP have both files in the same directory and no problems, can't say the same for running MODS or even the Vanilla game though.... Done all that. Still can't update. It stops right at the very first file: GECK.exe.
