my Vortex seems to refuse to login using the app. It takes me to Nexus, I authorise, I go back to the app and I'm not connected. Vortex not downloading the mods I select for the same error. Please provide a valid API key

I'm new to installing mods and I've installed immersive wenches mod, at first it was working just fine, but now after a few more (read a lot more) mod installations, the wenches are now just floating heads. Does anyone have a clue what I might have done wrong with the install orders, rules, etc? I'm not entirely sure what info might be needed, but please let me know and I'll try to provide it.
