  1. They look more like hard chromed Springfield armories, still cool and still the more useful silenced pistol in my mods. I don't know I guess I'm just a sucker for the small details. Even the hitman mod that HAS the silverballer its still just a retex of the 1911 mod. Not that great of a one either. Oh well, maybe some one will eventually find interest in this idea.
  2. Both are good (wish that Muesoc one was in an easier to reach spot though) but they're still not quite there yet. They are a nice hold over though!
  3. If any one has played any of the Hitman games or watched the first terminator movie you know what the Hardballer is, the truth sadly is that Arcadia Machine Tool's 1911 clone was plagued with problems and for the most part (or atleast according to various gun owners) was crap. However the weapon is an icon and I think a modder could have a lot of fun with it whether just making or improving on a base 'Add this gun to game' mod or make it more interactive by say having the Doc hand it to you and starting a quest to get it fixed up and customized! I sadly, have no skill at making a mod other than coming up with clever ideas for them, such as Doc basically handing you a starting pistol that starts off as crap but has the potential to be wicked further down the line. Soo thats my request, simply due to the fact I own a Hardballer and after awhile of getting it tuned up it is by far my favorite fire arm and I'd love to have it in my favorite games as well. If you like the idea and would like more elaboration (like why or where Doc got it if we're going for the quest or weapon mod kits for it or hell even both!) post it here or send me a PM, I'll throw out what I have. PS, because I know some one will say "why don't you just download the Hitman mod on nexus?", done it, love the gun and the suit, but the textures need work.
  4. Alex if you did work on this man i'd die happy... Your level of quality from what I've seen (and downloaded) is utterly amazing. What do you want refs on, I'll go hunting. Or I can just load up this rotating 3d model quicktime vid I pulled from the main website...
  5. I can understand taking a break after putting out fantastic work but just pulling all of them entirely?
  6. I just had a thought as I was about to go to sleep, the SC Tac suit could be made easily by simply stripping down the chinese stealth suit a bit and adding pistol mag pouches and a few others around the belt, maybe some cargo urban camo pants. Just a thought if some one wants to put their own bit, who knows, maybe this project will take off and all our names can be on it. hell Solid Snake's Octocamo attire (solid eye included) managed to find its way on nexus.
  7. An online correspondance (who's alot better at this than me) has given permission for use of his model in the mod. You can thank Claude Paret for this particular image. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs509.snc3/26740_110302998997816_100000543504414_154576_7490231_n.jpg
  8. Thanks for the vote of confidence Skaar, glad to see the splinter cell fans of fallout atleast limit to 3. :D
  9. My local boy scouts did nothing but watch the scout masters get hammered and went out to shoot their empty beer and soda cans with a .22... Its almost like my sister's wedding except everyone was drunk and there was no .22... god the pacific northwest sucks.
  10. I allways wonder why so many fantasy books have maps of the land and its near allways on the western coast of a continent... no one representing east side in sci fi?
  11. Johnny Cash, God's gonna cut ya down... The new Splinter Cell Conviction trailer snagged me by the throat sadly. Still awesome.
  12. spybot (saved me before) and avast (if you can stand klaxons going off and hearing "Warning, a virus has been detected") just because they're free and reliable. I did have one SOB of a virus on my fathers pc awhile ago that required Malware Bytes, which is also free and awesome at destroying that which tries to destroy your hdd.
  13. Splinter Cell: Endgame Got into such a fit over how close Conviction is to coming out I bought it on a whim, a bit wordy but not back if you don't mind hearing Michael Ironside in your head constantly.
  14. Well the good knews is, I've got a decent mesh for the goggles but I can't seem to UV map it to start making a texture... guess thats a bit out of my league... I'll keep trying though.
  15. I don't get why we don't see many tries at it. Granted I've recently tried my hand at it and got a decent enough mesh for the goggles to atleast try to work with, but UV mapping kicks me in the gonads...
