Results: Issue corrected for both mods by redownloading. I didn't have to install either of the two new downloads, just wait the 15 minutes, endorse, then delete the unused archive. According to Vortex, the 2 offending mods in question were originally downloaded "1 Month Ago" & "2 Months Ago" respectively. Also I've downloaded a ton of other mods since then and have been able to endorse all of them just fine. I'm guessing for the offending mods some hick-up occurred at the original time of download and they somehow didn't register on The Nexus?
-
Absolutely! 1) As with 99% of my mods for the past 8 months, via the "Mod Manager Download" button on the Nexus mod's file tab. Using the latest version of Vortex. 2) New downloads, pretty sure for all of them(?). It's possible (though I don't think so) that I didn't try to endorse right-away and got an update in there first. I know this is definitely not the case for all but a couple of them. 3) First through Vortex, then directly on the mod's Nexus page (no success either way). 4) Nope. But I remember downloading them. They're enabled in Vortex. They're present in-game. So far I've only used Vortex to mod Skyrim SE, having 477 mods/291 plugins. A couple examples of offending mods for me are "The Hideaway - A Buildable Cave Home": https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10649 and "Immersive Wenches": https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/595 I will attempt to redownload (via "Mod Manager Download") these two into Vortex and post back if this corrects the issue.

I'm having the same issue. About 8-10 mods I can't seem to endorse.

Since textures don't need to be ported (as long as they are NOT uncompressed) and also work for the Special Edition out of the box I'm pretty sure you are capable of doing this by yourself. I had read somewhere if the textures being ported were created/save this way or that, that they'd Crash the game or just wouldn't work altogether. Since I'd never created models for a game before, I assumed this meant the process might be beyond my comfort level. Your comment has prompted me however to dig a little deeper (thanks for that!). Manually downloading and un-7-zipping the folder reveals the files are already set up as DDS files, so that's good anyways. Per Horkerborn on AFK: "Textures originally saved in either the A1R5G5B5 format or the B5G6R5 format must be resaved in A8R8G8B8, R8G8B8, or an equivalent compressed format like DXT5 or DXT1. If this is not done, some installations of DirectX 11 will not be able to process it and SSE will crash. This seems to be most common for folks using Windows 7. NifScan will detect this when run. Some landscape textures will need to be fixed manually. If your landscape texture loads into SSE and looks like it's wet when it's not supposed to be, you found one that needs to be fixed". That should be easy enough. Thanks again for your comment! <Holy Hell, the implications here  >

Existing Legacy Edition Mod: "Detailing the Eldrich - Higher-Res Apocrypha - Temple of Miraak - Black Books" UESP Wiki Page: Dragonborn: Apocrypha Porting a texture mod is presently beyond my capability, but perhaps someone here would be willing to do it? I have not reached out to the Mod Author (ObsidianStag) @ObsidianStag for permission at this point - seemed premature without knowing whether or not someone here would be willing to do it. I'm happy to get involved (if needed) to help facilitate the process. Thanks for reading and the consideration=) -Theleb

Hey guys, don't know if this problem has already been covered here, but at least one farmhouse and mine entrance (Stonehills Mine due East of Morthal in this case - a snowy region) has a texture issue where they both appear light blue: https://i.imgur.com/6npJgsW.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/7MCr6lJ.jpg This is not not like the "purple" missing texture issue I've seen before (if I'm remembering correctly). Load Order: If I disable No Snow Under The Roof, the farmhouse ONLY appears normally. Not blaming that mod but clearly there's some texture (or mesh) conflict going on and this forum is my starting place (actually I posted over on that mod's page but no response yet so here I am). I run and have experimented with enabling/disabling Better Dynamic Snow, NSUTR JK's & Cutting Room Floor patches, NSUTR Vigilant & Vigilant Fix patches, SMIM, Noble Skyrim, Vivid Weathers, etc. In Vortex I've tried manipulating their load orders, overwriting different textures, etc, in a dizzying array of combinations. I've created and played around with merging records in an xEdit Merged Patch. I've created a Bashed Patch in Wrye, etc, but to no avail. All I know is that if I disable NSUTR, the farmhouse looks normal. Any and all suggestions as to what's going and/or what to try next greatly Appreciated. Thank guys=)

Just keep checking back to http://skse.silverlock.org/ Until SKSE64 gets updated to a new version. Currently it's 2.0.10 (Runtime 1.5.53) (which, thanks to Bethesda, is now outdated). Ian and Co. have lives outside of script extenders, just be patient. Between Fallout & E.S. I've seen an update take anywhere between 3 hours to 3 days (usually 6-12 hours or so). Or you can revert to an older .exe as described above.

Hello, how do u find out what the download_depot code is for the previous version? sorry if this is a dumb and or complicated question but I just wanted to know so I could find it on my own in the future. Also thanks so much for this, I thought I wouldnt've been able to play today https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=889624474

This made me lol. Honestly achievements aren't that big a deal to me. But then again, why not? Really it's more about being blindsided by an update and not being able to play when I have the time to. Then there are the handful of mods that will require updating. I don't mind having to deal with all this... it's very much a part of gaming on a modded pc. I just want to be more in control and do it on my terms when convenient to me, not forced to every two weeks (like here lately). And don't get me wrong: I'm grateful to the **SE Team for their commitment and diligence over the years (& w/ ES) and all the Great Mod Authors out there for their hard work and maintenance of their mods. I respect they have lives and updating their stuff requires time. If it weren't for them, none of this would matter. This is exactly what I was looking for!!!! Thank you for the link!!!! I launch my game through NMM then through F4SE anyways so... PERFECT!!!!

Doesn't disabling the option to keep the game up to date work? Unfortunately there is no option to keep the game from auto-updating. You have three choices: 1. "Always keep this game up to date" 2. "Only update this game when I launch it" 3. "High Priority - Always auto-update this game before others" I could've sworn there was the option a few years back (like with Skyrim or FNV) to not auto-update, but people are saying there never really was.

Regarding that thread, you don't happen to recall any keywords that may have been in it's title that might reveal it if I do a search, and/or roughly how long ago the thread was active here? I appreciate the response. I experimented with launching the game in Off-Line mode, alt+tab to desktop, going back into Steam, but it won't let me change the settings in the update tab. I also can't go back Online without restarting Steam. Pretty sure the game will crash if Steam is relaunched midplay? Somewhat frightened to try this in fear of screwing-up my heavily modded game... Advise?

In Steam, you only have three options under "Updates", all of which auto-update the game every time a new patch is released. Then with every patch you have to wait for, then reinstall F4SE, Achievements mod, and several others that need patching/updating. I'd personally rather wait after several patches have been released, then crunch through the process. Now I know you can play offline... but Achievements, cloud-synch, etc won't function. Somewhere I heard you can set your Fallout 4 Game Directory to "Read Only", continue to play online, still get achievements, etc, and your game won't auto-update. If you did this of course, you'd have to temporarily deselect "Read Only" in order to update old mods, install new mods, F4SE, etc, and then revert back afterwards. So has anyone tried this? Does it work? Are there side-effects or other considerations? Or is there any other way to not get auto-updated? Thanks guys!
