Since I briefly installed 'custom vampire lord female - CBBE - UNP' there's been a rather unpleasant too look at glitch where the lower jaw and the front of the kilt stay in place while they float up and down, and when they land to walk the wings get deformed badly. I removed it cleanly soon after adding it because the whole effect of the mod was really bad and that was back in 2015, now after numerous re installs and even a new computer this is still happening, is there anything I can do about it?

I realise that it's got to be there but even setting my system so it doesn't hide folders and file extensions this file is not showing up. So this file is there and hiding extremely successfully, or the game is working well without it as I have gotten to level 18 already. second Edit: I will ring my son tomorrow and with his help find this file, because until I know for certain that it is there I am not going to play any more Skyrim for a while.

No I downloaded using NMM and now I regret doing that, but even doing that can't remove a file surely?

yes I have run the game and got up several levels so I am as confused as you. I will check the integrity using that link and hopefully that will sort it out, if not I will get my son onto it, after all he built this computer.. I did that and it found one file missing but it's not that. The items that are in the Skyrim folder are all the SKSE files Data folder TES5Edit folder and Skyrim.Harcoded.keep.this.with.the.exe.and.otherwise.ignore.it.I.really.mean.it.dat

I keep saying that it isn't there, that is why I am asking for help?

I am trying to install SKSE and it seems to require TESV.exe and that doesn't exist on my computer. Is it really vital and if so where can I find it, any help here would be gratefully accepted. I do need to tell you that I am not the most computer savy person but I do well for a 67 year old mum, so please explain things in English and carefully lol. Oh and where do I get TESV please.

All I would like is to be able to reply to greetings, just one word would do "Greetings! or Hello" with the option not to use it. As anyone created a reliable mod that adds this ability?

Thank you for your patience with me Striker, I will do exactly as you say when I do a re install, but I have a feeling that I might be asking my son for help with some of that. Strange how instructions sound complex until you have done it over and over lol

Sorry I honestly missed that question, I am on Windows 7 and there are 2folders, 1 is just called program files and the other is program files(x86) the first one I don't touch. Most of the files I need to access are in the Program files(x86) folder. Games is just C drive>games>Oblivion and I remembered why there was a second folder last night and it will be deleted. My son installed a version of Oblivion there from disc but it didn't load up for me so I bought a version from Steam. I have deleted and reloaded games from Steam several times in the past to solve various problems but I leave doing that until nothing else works. Before I do anything though I need to know where's the best place to have Oblivion installed?

Yes there is and I have no idea how this has happened. The instructions you gave me were followed exactly only the mod still isn't active, and I have stopped trying you use the Nexus Mod Manager to load Oblivion. The Steam overlay was already allowed because I do use it a lot, it's also another way of keeping in touch with my son. So clarifying: I load the game using Steam, the overlay is active, the mod isn't working, and I can't seem to get OBSE to work. My idea is to now delete Oblivion from my computer, and the other downloads. After that delete any Oblivion folders left and hope that when it's installed again that it just creates one folder? IS this wise?

There is another problem, I have an Oblivion folder in program files>steam>steamapps>common>Oblivion And localdisc ©>games>nexusmod manager Could that be causing a problem and which one should I be using for OBSE and my mods?

I downloaded it manually but I was pretty sure that I have done it wrong, now I am sure that I have. Ok I will undo the mess and restart and read the instructions that come with it, I thought it was like SKSE and used the same tool to open it as Skyrim. I'll let you know how things work out or yell for my son poor lad lol

I am doing my best as I am only a slightly techy 66 year old mum with a 41 year old IT son making his own way in the world. I can't drag him back here for every single thing so I do my best. Yes my computer is very capable of running Skyrim or Oblivion, or Landmark even (Landmark is not related to the Elderscrolls but it's a very large game so just used as an example) I am considering a clean uninstall right now but I thought that I would ask here first.. Only 1 mod right now, the Tardis home (Ok so I am a big Dr Who fan :D ) lol I tried to make that active but all I see in the place where the Tardis should be is a big yellow form, so I deactivated it. Now that SKSE has been added to Steam will it have any dire effect opening Skyrim using the Steam Launcher on occasion? I want to add a mod that is a Steam workshop only one atm, the Soul Eater armor to be specific.

Is anyone working on a cleaned up version of the player house in Ravenrock, the vanilla one is so dreary and messy :( I would love it if I could move into it looking as if it had been cleaned up for me, or perhaps it would be nice if the Dargonborn could find someone to pay to have it cleaned up?

Yes, and I can enable the shouts now after disabling the mountain cabin. That one was the obvious first simply because I hadn't been any where near it and I can enable it later in the game when I have all the shouts. Hopefully it won't affect anything else?

Even that solutions doesn't seem to be working, this is really annoying. I am selecting the shout and I get told that I need a dragon soul, yet after being attacked by a total of five dragons inside 20 minutes, absorbing all of their souls, and using after favouriting one, R just brings up that message that I need a dragon soul. :(
