Me 4. 5 weeks in I still cant play this game while WH adds cosmetics and easter eggs to its patches. Once again I hope mods can make this very simple but game-altering mod for us thats the devs cant be bothered to adress. -

Hi Im trying to make changes to the hot springs hunter camp near the eldergleam sanctuary but I dont know how/where to locate it in the CK. Its not a cell and I cant find it in any of the world locations - any ideas?

Need help with Ultimate Follower Overhaul

UFO has some nice features but some nasty side effects as well, but its a mod I cant live without, Im going to try this AFT I have those same kind of issues where you uninstall the mod but all the dialog options are still there, and when you tell followers to stay put they say ok then follow you anyway -
I just wish the authors of these files could maybe have a sit down and all get on the same page. I had that neck problem and for two days I was mixing/matching mods until I realized it was ECE causing the issue, but as others have said both mods have different but equally attractive features, for the sake of speed and sanity I've simply decided to not use anything ECE or UNP related.

I meant rather than blaming the software and asking a question like has any of Skyrim's 20 million customers ever completed it on PC during its 3 yr release, maybe one would think the problem lies on their end

and the final outcome: Redguards male followers can NOT use Male Commander voices maybe I'll switch it to this *after* he joins me, but ...ya, that was the problem: the voice. Makes sense all the chicks never had an issue because their template never change (at least not the voice)

I do this for conveneince but is there a limit on the amount of followers you can add to one or is it just a better rule of thumb to create one esp per follower? Having an issue where *all* new followers I create on my current ESP no longer have the join option when I place them in the world, but all my exisiting followers in that same ESP can be placed and are joinable without issue

and Im back...problem not fixed. I created him on his own esp file, works in the world great, even worked the first time I merged the two esps together after I reloaded to make sure, the join option gone again and same thing, any new creation doesnt have it. strange

Jeeez, I created him under his own esp file and now the join option is back, sorry guys. Learn from my mistakes Its fixed but I still dont know the root cause

Hi, I've made about 8 followers far no problems with them in the past. Now when I make a copy of one of my old followers, and modify it (import a new .spf and hair) and place it in my world, that copy (that has worked many times before) is now not working ( no join option). I thought this was strange after a few tries so I went ahead and made a brand new follower (not a dupe or copy), same issue. I did some research and people say that simple things like changing the voice could be the issue? So I took a copy of my Nord female, imported a redguard male onto the copy, changed voice to male commander and unchecked female animations. No join option. Then I placed an untouched copy of the nord in the world, she was able to join, then I changed her into a redguard male afterwards through CK. This 'worked' except now he's walking around like a female. Im stumped, it sounds weird but it seems like I cant create male followers. I keep thinking I've missed a step in the process but when compared to my working followers, except for gender details, its an exact copy of stats. Anyone ever see this before? I like making my own chars rather than downloading or this would be a non issue, thanks

So if I'm reading this right, unchecking the box will give you a *direct* translation of your desired change to the NPC feature instead of trying to blend it with the vanilla face? This might expalin my problem, as I follow the Nexus wiki to the letter, I will try this asap. I work with NifMerge and I can see a strong resemblance to my character in RaceMenu after the merge is complete, but its never a mirror image. -
Hi all, When I select the short hairstyles at the character creation screen, they look fine but when I make a head object out of them (hair and hairline files), I constantly see some kind of Skyrim 'default' hairline that covers the back of the neck in the actual game. I've tried making the objects without a hairline mesh and I've tried replacing the hairline file with the hair files, neither seems to be doing the trick. I've seen plenty of follower mods that have short hair so can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong when creating these objects pls?

Ok first thing I can recommend is to read this http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Adding_a_Follower_NPC_to_Skyrim and follow the instructions as they are spot on if followed properly. But in summary, you arent replacing the CK generated face with the merged .nif you created from NifMerge, hence the discolored face and default facial features. Hair is reverting because you are trying to select it from a hair pack that you didnt load up with your .esm file (Much easier to actually create the hair object from the hair pack so it can be used for future creations imo) Also, where did you get those clothes from?

I've only used CBBE, and it comes with a slider set and a conversion tool to re-fit all the armors to the new custom body. I love it, I only wish all Skyrim modding was this easy

Well if you're khajit, wouldnt you want to sneak attack with bow and then slip away? This increase both sneak and archery in nice chunks I found. In the beginning it can be very dicey, but towards the end you'll be one shotting dudes soon enough, and the ones who dont die in one you can avoid in all but the most lit areas. Takes a while but (imo) so much fun and worth it.

Well, I dont think it was the Java. I think it was just my incredibly bad luck that had my video cards decide to fail on me. Did some inspection around my case, noticed a fan was out, probably affecting my cooling system. Since I couldnt launch anything anyway I went ahead and saved all my custom data and wiped the machine, problem was there even with just Win7 on the machine so I'm ruling Java out.

Yea, I mean I put in like 60hrs alone testing those mods and they were rocksteady. When I took that break, I figured that little update would only enhance everything. I'm going to try reverting back to the previous version, as its the only thing that changed the entire week. Thanks

Hi All, So 10 days ago I installed some mods, one by one, to the point where I had all the mods I wanted to start a new game. Played the game hard as hell (10+hrs) for a week, all mods configured, life is great. Then for some reason I decided to update my Java to 7.0, go to watch Game of Thrones, come back to start playing again: Screen is black, PC is on. I reboot, see the desktop for 1 second, hear the login music, black screen, PC is on. Anyone ever hear of something like this? Could the mods be dependent on the older version of Java I had when the mods were installed and now having conflicts with this new version?
