So as the title says, my game crashes a lot. I decided to use Fallout 3 Windows 7 and 8 fix, but with the d3d9 file my game wont start, but a command prompt window keeps opening and closing, until I delete the d3d9 file and my game starts up. I havent had anything else fix the errors, and I think this will. It is also worth mentioning I do have FOSE installed.

Hello, I have managed to break fallout 3. I was trying to fix a bug that I had where the game crashes at random points, and while doing so I somehow managed fallout to not load any of the mods other than fallout script extender. I was trying to fix it by getting a fake fullscreen mod, I guess that was the issue. While I was doing that I also got FO3 Error Fixes. I tried uninstalling those and now it wont work. Any help is appreciated on either of these two subjects, thanks. PS. Fallout thinks I have a GeForce 7900 GS when I really have a GT 640.. Got any ideas on that? Specs: GPU: GeForce GT 640 CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 Ram: 16GB 2 TB of Storage
