  1. This has really gotten me at my wits end. I have an alias that is functioning as a follower. with a pretty standard follower package and everything works fine.... Including (I thought) the command mode which I trigger from a simple as it gets dialogue Fragment akspeaker.SetAV("Morality", 0) akspeaker.SetDoingFavor() But, when my follower goes into command mode they'll go wait anywhere I point at on the ground like normal, but if I point at any furniture they'll say "okay" or whatever. But stand perfectly still. Is there some ingredient I am missing here that would prevent them from being able to use furniture? I checked all the procedures and flags in the package. It can't be that. I tried making them a Teammate (with console) That didn't work. I thought it might be some kind of Keyword the alias needed but looking at the "Follow Me" mod which works perfect for me, his aliases don't have that. Anybody have any ideas?
  2. Just a little bit of advice. Don't be afraid of scripting. It's not really that hard if you have the ability to think about cause and effect, but it is very daunting at first if you have no other coding experience, but with the right tutorials it's not that hard. Learn about KmyQuest and how to reuse a single script fragment early. Make small low stakes experimental mods first just to learn the basics. Keep your scope very limited and you will actually get to make a complex mod faster than if you just try to make your dream mod from the start (trust me)
  3. With the introduction of mods like Sim Settlements and Settlement Blueprints this idea seems plausible to me. The idea is when you start a new game the mod would generate and populate random settlements in some percentage of random settlement locations. That would grow and thrive on their own like sim settlements. This would allow way more replay value as you would be exploring a different commonwealth with each new playthrough. Each one could have a leader with a simple quest that would allow the player workshop access similar to some of the vanilla settlements. Or you could just kill everybody and take over ;) The biggest hurdle I see is no way to generate electricity wiring so maybe the settlements would have to be somewhat primitive
