  1. I don't know if I'm the only one bothered by this, but I've been thinking that having your shield strapped to your back when you sheath your weapon would be cool. You could just use the animation for when you take out/put back your bow for the shield, no need to create a new one! Or just pop it right in his hand if the animation conflicts with the weapon unsheathing, I just don't care to look at my shield all the time. I just find it stupid that your character would be running around the countryside hanging to his shield all the time. Anybody up for the task? I'd quite appreciate it!
  2. I tried running it alone on a fresh start up and it still did the same thing. It might be a program that runs on start up, so I'll try that after testing it out with the k-lite method. EDIT: Seems like it works now, after about an hour of play. I guess this has been fixed. Thanks Smooth613!
  3. This has nothing to do with either the keyboard or mouse themselves; they function perfectly outside of Oblivion. That seems like it'd answer my problem, unfortunately the link to the mentioned thread is broken. :/ I'll try installing the K-Lite codec pack as seems to be suggested (though I already have most of the codecs I need from my own selection in the CCCP, but eh... It's worth trying).
  4. I don't have any other input devices plugged in besides my mouse and keyboard at the moment. :/
  5. So yesterday I got a sudden itch to play Oblivion again and to continue the game I had over 90 hours in. The problem is, after a few minutes of play, without fail, it will just stop taking any input. Nothing actually freezes, but I can't even move the camera or the cursor if I'm in a menu. And if I was pressing a key, it'll act as if I was pressing it continuously. I can switch windows and everything will be fine and dandy outside the game, but the only way to get it to work again on the game is to close it (I can just rightclick>close it, it won't even say the game isn't responding and will close immediately) and start it up again. I prefferably don't want to have to reinstall the game as I have a couple of mods and most of the DLCs installed and it'd take forever. Can anybody help me fix this issue?
