I realize that people worked diligently on the ui.
Sometimes - sometimes changes are not for the better and people? People don't like change so much as they like options.
The neurodivergent nerd here (AuDHD) really can't even handle looking at the new layout for long periods of time. It makes me ..unusually frustrated. Yes, I realize that sounds ridiculous and I'm hoping below to express as to what elements contribute to this:
The attempt to look sleek failed to take into consideration that the older format provided clear borders/boundaries/columns that were stylistically distinct from one another which made it easier for us to find things. Searching in the old site was never really a challenge for me.
Searching the new one? The results are presented in a format which is honestly ugly. Like - I'm not sure if you intentionally moved this way to be more in line with Bethesda and Steam, but I hate using them for anything outside of games because of the way they organize and present information.
I realize the old site ui had elements that probably were older - but they were much more helpful in ensuring each mod seem like a distinct individual thing. After a certain point, because of the color combos y'all chose and because of the layout you chose, the title and text for the blurbs in each mod all run together. It ..it is categorically awful.
