  4. I rlly luv the mod idea... I rlly hope u get to creating this mod cause i wuld luv to download it Wen thinking about the player's own unit/group, be sure to be able to give the player the choice of the group's equipment.. than it wuld rlly be immersive. A name for the unit wuld be rlly cool too, even if it isnt exactly relevant or necessary. It wuld make all the difference depending on wat the player wants for his unit.
  5. is this for a hammerfell mod or something? cause if so i think i wuld be the first to download lmaoo
  6. So once I played the game enough I learned so much more about the Redguards than I ever did in Oblivion. After spending enough time with my Redguard character in an Alik'r hood and scimitar, I decided to check out some of the lore on them. Hours later on UESP, I decided that a Hammerfell mod must be done. Combined with its Arabian/African style culture and geography and the current events of Hammerfell going on in the game, there would be so much to do in terms of quests and adventures. Imagine a journey through the unforgiving Alik'r desert with venomous creatures and roving bedouin bandits to finally reach sprawling trade hub cities with populated shuks and tight, peasant-filled alleyways with a beautiful dome temple/palace at the other side of the city. The possibilities are endless! Not to mention all of the new weapons, armor, npc's, creatures, etc. that would come from this mod. Please tell me that I'm not the only one who wants to see this mod on SkyrimNexus...
  7. Ok, I downloaded Fallout 3 from Steam (though not everyone downloads from steam) and I can't find the folder!! It's driving me crazy! I'm trying to install mods for the game but I can't find the folders. Mod Manager can't even find it! I tried ProgramFiles but I can't find the Bethesda Softworks file or Fallout content in the Steam folder but it isn't there. Can someone please help?

  9. So I'm playing the Pitt DLC, and I'm thinking "This place is swell, though I wish I could do more with it!" (I bet more of you agree!). Then I'm in the Citadel, having a chat with Paladin Kodiak, and the idea arises. The Pitt, the Scourge, and the Brotherhood. He talks about the Brotherhood, before they were divided between Outcasts and still in they're splender with men and supplies. Marching in order above the Mountain to the Pitt, with Lyons at the helm of his army. So by now it's obvious what my idea should be. Playing as a Brotherhood Paladin, or even Lyons, during the Scourge. I have ideas for mods that we can incorporate like the Crusader Armor (http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2191) and I was thinking we could make it much more epic by having a soldier carry the Brotherhood flag (which can be seen at the Citadel). It could either be walk through and kill everything in sight, or more of a strategic quest line like killing Slave Masters and damaging gangs by killing their leaders. We could also have a quest where you have to collect all of the healthy children. I think this would be the absolute coolest and most downloaded mod in the world. It would give much more depth to both the Brotherhood and the Pitt. Rarely does a modder actually look at the mod request page, let alone use on of the ideas. So that all it is right now, but if a nice, skilled modder could give it a chance, I would greatly appreciate it. I think everyone would agree the mod would become a complete success. Crusader Armor (Dark and Light) -> http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/2191-2-1230274919.jpg In the end, all I really want from this mod is depth and battle. Not, "go through these five buildings and fight these deathclaws and behemoths for a wire or a pencil while we do the exciting things."
  10. When I first played BioShock 2, I loved the feeling of power given to you by the bulk of Subject Delta, the Alpha Line nuclear-bomb-in-a-suit. When I thought of Rapture and it's low economy and army of splicers, I thought of a wasteland, more specifically, the Fallout 3 wasteland. Which is where my idea came in. I know most modders don't just log onto NexusForums and say "Hmmm, what requests can I answer?" But I know that anyone who's played BioShock 2 loves standing over the body from which you drilled the life out of. I loved looking into my reflection from water or a mirror and seeing a beast among mice. Just look at it!! http://dyn4.media.forbiddenplanet.com/products/1997255.jpg.size-300_square-true.jpg http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/subject-delta-bioshock-2-artwork.jpg So that is where my request comes from. Imagine walking the hostile, empty wasteland, as a walking powerhouse. I have plans for it, but I'm no modder, so all i can give are my ideas. I was thinking, a simple but possibly longer way to do it would to make a super mutant race mod available, then creating the Subject Delta suit as armor. There is a mod of a diving helmet, but it doesn't much resemble the Subject Delta helmet. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5692 And here is a link to a more complete diving suit. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8384 I've found a mod that created a drill specifically used by the Bid Daddies in the BioShock series. It should help with the arm attachment. If you can't attach to arm, then just add it as a weapon. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3122 These could be used as sources, but together they don't much resemble the body and suit of Subject Delta. Please, somebody create this mod. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES!!! http://laughingsquid.com/wp-content/uploads/subject-delta-20091221-143205.jpg
  11. I was checking out Bioshock 2, and the idea hit me. I was thinking of an underwater city like Rapture http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_uploads/bioshock-rapture-image-bioshock-523402_1024_551.jpg http://lh4.ggpht.com/_m8oaaxYy_6Y/Ss_DxM8EkmI/AAAAAAAAAeY/laQRU0o__Ys/rapture.jpg I was thinking of a questline where you go to Rapture, with a civil war breaking out (just like Bioshock). You see there is the people vs. the government and you have to choose who you help. Of course there are rewards and consequences for either side you choose. Of course, this would be a pretty big commitment but I think it would also be a big success.
  12. Yeah so after seeing all of the tribal things in the game, and getting some inspiration outside of the game, I was hoping a nice modder could help with a mod. I don't know how difficult it would be, as I'm no modder (if I were I'd do it myself). I was hoping for tribal things like a bow & arrow and armor made of bones and feathers. I really like the things used in James Cameron's Avatar and the video game based on it. Again, I don't know how difficult it would be. I have ideas for the armor, but first I wanna know that someone is on board.
  13. Hey I was wondering if anyone can make a simple weapon mod for a dagger that looks kinda like this: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/jamescameronsavatar/images/8/8e/Dual_blades.jpg It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
  14. You might also want to look at this mod: http://dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=605
  15. I second this request. I find it ridiculous that the DLC (that barely came out yet) is the only thing you can access after the game. I'd also love to see the effects of all your actions on Ferelden, but that may be a bit too much.
  16. Can someone help me? I don't know how to get a screenshot from the game onto Dragon Age Nexus.
  17. Hey I was wondering if anyone can make a simple mod. Can sombody make a warpaint/kaddis available to the Warden's dog that looks like this: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/2/2b/Painted_Dog_One.jpg
  18. Ok, I've been waiting for this DLC for the past couple of weeks and I'M ABOUT TO BURST. First they said Jan. 5 but then it got delayed. Then I saw a news report on Dragon Age Wiki on Jan.13 that said it came out for Xbox and PC but I can't find it and the BioWare website still says "Coming this Holiday Season". Can anybody help me out?
  19. alrighty, let me know if you need my help with anything. (idea wise). truthfully, i think Zion is a good name for the settlement. especially if your using the templars. them being extremely loyal to the maker, i believe Zion is more then fitting. but of course, it is your mod. i also have some good ideas for armors and weaponry. but the question still stands, can i help you?
  20. Exactly what is says. If anyone is good at this studd, can somebody make an avatar preset for elven males and females? I was hoping to use this with the dalish
  21. Truthfully, I find it amazing that not one modder made a single effort to create a Qunari Race Mod. The Qunari are known to be the most skilled and violent warriors ever known. They even treat their mages better than the people of Ferelden, respecting them more than fearing them. (All this information is from the game by the way, so I'm not making stuff up.) One journal in the game talks about the Qunari's impressive and advanced military. With advanded weaponry likes cannons, and better skilled soldier's with better armor and weaponry. I mean seriously, they waged war once they got to Ferelden. I don't know about you, but i wanna be that good. So working off that, I am calling out, desperately, to all modders. I would like a Qunari Race Mod available. TiSo in So, in my opinion, this is a huge project. An origins story will have to be created, along with new armor, weapons, lands, maps, cutscenes, and the dialogue among many NPC's in the game would have to be edited to fit the Qunari warden, like some of the NPC's in Ostagar. I have a really good idea for the origins story. I was thinking you would begin in Par Vollen, awaking on a ship that just landed on the island from their original homeland, Seheron. Par Vollen is a tropical island chain, covered mostly by rainforest. You will walk off the ship to a military port and settlement. The Commander will be standing in front of the ship, waiting for you. He will give you a Soldier's Pass, which will grant you access to the settlement, along with permission to trade with the Quartermaster. You will be directed to your tent, which will have all of your belongings in a chest. These will be Standard Qunari Armor, and a Standard Qunari weapon, which will vary depending on your class (Two daggers= Rogue/ Greatsword= Warrior/ Qunari Mages Staff= Mage). Each of these will be Tier 1 weapons. The Quartermaster will be able to sell you better weaponry, but you won't need it. You will then meet the Commander in his tent. He will tell you that he will be conducting a mission of great importance, but you will need to prove yourself first. He will tell you to go into the Par Vollen Rain Forest and retrieve 5 wolf pelts. You will also have to retrieve a gem from a temple that belonged to the civilization that resided in Par Vollen before the Qunari. It will be guarded by spiders and skeletons (Because it is a tropical island, there will not be things like golems and darkspawn.). You will arrive to the tomb to find a lette in the place of where the gem should be. It will simply read "Up". The Warden will look up to find a barrage of rocks and boulders fall on him, enough to knock him out. The Warden will awake to a garden of springs and trees, a very peaceful place. It will be inhabited by the Commander, and a couple of nude women (Reference to the Hashashins.). He will tell you you have done well, and to rest, you'll need it. At this point, the screen will black out and you will awake at the Commander's tent. He tells you that you have done well, and that there was a reason the gem wasn't there. The gem was stolen by a human that fled to Denerim. He tells you about the important mission, a scavenge mission to Ferelden. He warns you, that anyone met in Ferelden will be hostile to Qunari soldiers. You are told that you may rest in your tent, but you will then leave for Ferelden. After your rest, you go to your ship and leave for Ferelden. You land in Ferelden with two Qunari soldiers, Volshen and Kalashok. You will travel through a swampy area. The screen will cut to cutscene. Arrows will suddenly fly through a bunch trees and grass. One through Volshen's head, two to Kalashok's chest, and one to the Warden's leg. The archers will then appear through the grass to show themselves as Grey Warden border patrollers. The Warden will unsheathe his sword, only to be his in the head from behind by a club. The screen blacks out. He will then awake in a cell. A human General will walk in to interrogate the Warden (details will be worked out later.). When the General leaves, the Warden will have to find a way out (Once again, details to be worked out.). When almost outside, he will be faced by Duncan. He will tell the Warden to get back to his cell, but one way or another, they will engage in combat. You can try as hard as you can, but Duncan will always win (Because he is Duncan). When close to death, Duncan will stop the fight and commend the Warden on his skill and honor. He will get the Warden to join the Grey Wardens, which is where the regular story will commence. I put a lot of though into this, evidently, and I think it will add alot of diversity into the game. If anyone has the time and skill to create this mod, please comment. I will be happy to help with storyline and ideas. For example, I can play through the whole game to see where dialogue changes will be needed to fit the Qunari. Please give me feedback people. You will all be happy once it is out.
  22. I believe I can help you. I'm no modder, but I have a very good imagination and I can help you with a lot of ideas. I can draw sketches of the city/settlement you want to make and the armor you want to make (depending on what kind of faction we're talking about.). For example: if you're talking about a faction that fights for good, I was thinking you could name the settlement "Zion". It has two definitions, one being the State of Israel (disregard that if you want to). The other being heaven as the final gathering place for the true believers (which is the definition that would fit). I can help you with NPC personalities and dialogue too. I understand if you reject my help, but I know I can help your mod into something truly interesting. By the way, when you say you can't find the armor, are you talking about in the game or in the toolset?
  23. You know what would really be awesome? You guys know how Avernus say he will call for you once he has gone to a breakthrough? I wish somebody could make a mod where he will call for you and you get a spell, weapon, armor, etc. I don't know, but you know something realistic in the game that does not make you god like and yet a very cool thing.
