    I downloaded the FOMM and every time i try and open it it gives me an error message that reads " Unable to get write permissions for fallout's Installation directory " what do i do to fix this ?? and after its fixed how do i use the mods after i download them ? I am an idiot when it coes to this stuff .

     

    Install fallout someplace other than c:program files (like c or d/games)

    Just read the tutorial links... :sweat: It has everything you need to know about, with pictured tutorials.

     

     

    Alright man, thank's, I will try my best. Just one question though, on window's 7 how do I create a plugin for the GECK?

     

    You don't... Geck creates it when you save.

    How to Install G36C Mod!

    1. Extract g36modV1_01P into fallout3 data folder. When asked to overwrite click yes to all (it must replace data folder)

     

    2. Extract V1_01P_to_1_1_Patch (same way as you did with the main file)

     

    3. Download and install fallout mod manager (if haven't already) Link - Fallout mod manager

     

    4. Run fallout mod manager, use toggle invalidation button and click apply

     

    5. In mod manager tick/activate small box next to "g36mod.esp" and launch fallout

     

    that's it
