  1. So I'm going to use the new "mod builder" tool uploaded by "mvision69" and was wondering exactly how you use it? It creates Json files, but what do you do with those files and where do you place them? Is this tool any use for someone like myself who knows nothing about "modding?" Are these types of files relevant to a non programmer like me? EDIT.... Well, I must say that the "Mod Builder" is a work of art and has made the COTW a much better game to play now. Thank you so much for this gem, you're a diamond. If I knew how to add a mod, I'd put less recoil, better ammo quantity buying options and more realistic mag sizes in there as well. Still, I'm loving this as it gives the player the option of customising the game to suit their own preferences and style. A really BIG shout out to those involved.
  2. First of all a big shoutout to those modders who are doing some great work trying to keep on top of the demands since the new updates to COTW. I particularly appreciate those mods that give us an increase in movement, zero wobble, more tents and the ability to get more ammo other than the pitiful 10 that the game gives us. I have however tried some of the new mods and sadly they don't appear to work for some reason? The increased ammo in the store seems to be one of them. Anyone else had this problem, or is it just me?
  3. When you've put a dropzone folder in place, you just add the contents of any other "dropzone" folder to it. Be careful that you don't overwrite mods that you already have in place there?
  4. You cannot ignore any updates in COTW as it won't let you play the game until you update it. You pay for a game and have zero say in what you can do with it concerning updates. It stinks in my opinion, as you are forced to accept the update even if you don't want it?
  5. Yes, the work you people put into modding these things is much appreciated and I wish I was as clever? A mod to get rid of the ridiculous recoil when shooting would be a great addition, as would a mod to change the levels of aggression on certain species like bears, bison, buffalo etc. As I'm not sure what work this would take to implement, please realise that I'm not a genius with code manipulation, so if it's too much of a task then I get it. Thanks anyway for all the other work that you modders do.
