I have the same exact problem as you. Can you do something in the console or whatever to fix the Thane bug? How did you solve your problem?

BF 2142 seems cool, I'll buy it anyways. DICE Canada have not released anything good yet... only BF Vietnam if anything. But I can tell you it is not their fault.... EA is a huge load of crap. Makeing them release stuff all the time, BF will end up as the Medal of Honour series, the first 2 games will be a happy memory.
