  1. Does this exist anywhere at all..... Braies or braises, short or long shifts/tunics, for any gender. Or roman style strophium and subligar for women, and subligaculum for men. examples: i would give at least 12% of my soul for sensible undergarments
  2. i finally got the ck to load dlcs..... it was hearthfires fault
  3. thank you for your reply. so far, i made the empty .esp in the creation kit, then in tes5edit i 'cop[ied] as override' the data i plan to edit from the skyrim.esm into my .esp and used tes5edit to change the text. when i open it in the ck its actually simpler than i thought cause i just have to change the references to change the quest targets and then copy the script from the original target actor onto the new target actor, then delete the script from the old target. * the only thing is i cant seem to find how to edit the subtitles of Nazir's dialogue when he gives you the quests. i probably wont edit the spoken dialogue but id like to at least edit the subtitles, but it doesnt seem possible ? *details given in case someone else wants to try sth similar.
  4. i want to change the targets of certain dark brotherhood quests so that the player is assigned to kill different people. mainly the contract quests, but id also like to make it possible to kidnap the gourmet rather than killing him - i can use a follower mod to make him go somewhere with me, but i dont know if advancing the quest via the console when hes still alive would be unwise. a) can i do this b) in TES5EDIT since its an override or do i need to use the creation kit or would it be better to simply kill the alternate targets and advance the quests with console commands ? is that safe ?
  5. Thanks for your replies. It's a shame it'll take so long, but at least it's something I'll be able to do eventually.
  6. Thank you for your reply. I had looked there before a little, but not very much. Would it be possible to edit the audio with instances of the new words from elsewhere, or will the edited dialogue always be voiceless?
  7. I want to make my game refer to the player with gender-neutral language (person instead of man/woman, they instead of he/she etc). 1) Is this possible? The only game I've ever modded is Sims 2, in which editing game strings was very simple, but I highly doubt it would be so with Skyrim. 2) If it is possible, would it be so difficult that someone with as little experience as me would be completely incapable of doing it, or would it just take a very long time due to the amount of text in the game? 3) If it is possible both in general and for myself specifically, does anyone have any advice on how I would go about doing it? Would I have to edit each instance of gendered language individually, or could I have a mod which returns, for example, 'they' when the game asks if it should say 'he' or 'she' ? Thank you!
