  1. I have been trying to use the Sneakeye crosshair mod however..this is what the readme files says. To install the plugin, unzip the file into the Oblivion\Data directory. If all is installed properly, your folders should look like this: Oblivion\Data\menus\main Oblivion\Data\textures\menus\misc With the five new files: Oblivion\Data\menus\main\hud_reticle.xml Oblivion\Data\menus\main\hud_reticle_sneakeye.xml Oblivion\Data\menus\main\hud_reticle_crosshair.xml Oblivion\Data\menus\main\hud_reticle_combined.xml Oblivion\Data\textures\menus\misc\hud_reticle_small.dds My problem is I have installed the GOTY edition. I dont have a MAIN File neither do I have a misc file when I go into the textures file. Any advice on how to fix this or what I am doing wrong? :wallbash: I bought the GOTY edition at Wal Mart. it is not a pirated download, not a cracked game neither is it a digital download. Thank You in advance for yrou help. Ghostrider777 :thanks:
  2. If I have noticed onething about Oblivion, it is immersive, a great RPG however...the face generation thing drives me nuts. Every character basically looks like their faces are made from a balloon. Is there a mod that fixes this? Also which is a good mod, easy to install etc for a body replacer for character and NPC's?
  3. Hello. I have been playing FO3 lately and decided for a change of pace to try Oblivion. I have the GOTY Edition and it is loaded onto my D Drive. However I have no idea which manager to use. I have seen OMOD and OBMM I downloaded and set up the Oblivion Mod Manager but not sure if it working. I do not seem to be able to convince 7 Zip to extract to it....any advice on which is better to use and which Mods to get to improve on the way the characters look, facial wise especially would be deeply appreciated. If needed i will do a complete uninstall/reinstall to get this right. I have the 7-Zip extractor allready and made a new folder on my desktop for any Oblivion Mods recomended. Thank You for Your help in advance. Ghostrider 777
  4. I agree, Broken Steel then Point Lookout. That way You dont have to start all the way from scratch with a new character either.
  5. I could not agree more. Thank You all for Your help. I downloaded the GFWL disabler and now things work fine. Kudos to you all for yrou kind help and sugestions.
  6. Why does'nt the Live option work if I launch through FOSE?
  7. Ok, I just found the Live menu option. I did not realize I had to restart the game. Does this mean I have to start all the way over? As in Live I get no option to continue from last save.
  8. If I bring up the games main menu from the FO3 launch shortcut on my desktop only Options I have are Play,Options,Data Files,Tech Support,Exit.
  9. I went to Bethesdas' support and found this. Q: The DLC is not loading up in my copy of Fallout 3 for PC. A: Please check the following if the content does not appear to be working in the PC version of Fallout 3: 1. Make sure you are logged into Games For Windows Live using the same gamertag used when you purchased the DLC. 2. Fallout 3 must be installed on the same drive (C:) as the Games For Windows Live client and content. If this is not the case, you may get the "loading content" message, but it will not activate or show up in the game. 3. If you experienced any errors during the download or installation of the DLC, please try redownloading the DLC under your gamertag. 4. Make sure you are not using any 3rd party mods or have made alterations to the game using the G.E.C.K editor. Some mods and changes may prevent the content from working properly. Note that if you travel to the game area where the new content resides, and see exclamation marks, missing textures, etc, this is an indication the content did not load successfully. It says it must be on the same drive as FO3 which they say is C..but the Mod Tutorial recomended another drive, mine is on D. I am trying to move GFWL to Drive D and redownloading the DLC again..this will make the third time. Hope is not high at the moment. is Point Lookout going to be on the GOTY version? I may windup waiting for that if this does not work.
  10. I really do appreciate Yoru help however i must ask a dumb question. how do i do that? Go the games Live Menu? And Yes I do have a legal version of Vista Premium 64bit and I bought FO3 and OA and TP.
  11. Only option I get is to choose which Xbox version I have and I DO NOT HAVE an xbox.
  12. No results for pointlout.esm or pointlookout.bsa. I guess GFWL ripped me off. Is there another way to get Broken Steel and PointLookout?
  13. Ok, I went on Windows For games Live and bought the needed whatever to buy Point Lookout. I clicked download and had my settings to download it to desktop. It is nowhere on my desktop. I have tried to search my whole computer and cannot find it. Can someone please help me? I wasnot given an option to choose between PC or XBox..I use a PC and have no desire to own an XBox again, ever. I have looked in the GFWL folder. it is not there. I open FOSS, it is not there, I open the the fallout 3 folder, it is not there. I am very aggravated with this right now to say the least.
  14. You have alot of mods going..it would be a good guess there is a conflict occuring...best way is to do a process of elimination I guess. I hope it works..I had to do that earlier.
