Frequent CTD after game load or a while later
jpm22112 replied to onetwothreenator's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi The trouble is if you uninstall mods mid play through it can cause major issue even if you use a saved game cleaner. I think all you can do is start a fresh game, clean your skyrim game files with tes5edit (if you don't already do so) and then rebuild your game one mod at a time testing each as you go and stress testing your game. I know this is a massive pain and I have had to do this many time myself in the past but now after many tears , despair and general rage I have achieved a stable game running 170 mods just by taking it slow and testing as I modded. So don't give up it can be done! -
Hi Sounds like some orphaned script instances from that mod lingering in your saved games ,try this save game cleaner mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?

What is the weirdest thing that's happened to you in Skyrim?
jpm22112 replied to morogoth35's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi So when I first played the heartfire dlc I had built my lakeview manor house and had married Ysolda, then one day I came home from questing to find Ysolda gone and a note from some local bandits demanding a ransom for my lovely wife! a quest marker had also appeared on my map so with righteous anger I was about to set off to the rescue when low and behold Ysolda reappeared! but I don't know what those bandits had done to her because from then on she would only walk backwards! -

Hi Have you tried setting the Ambient Occlusion on your video card settings for skyrim to off?
-
Hi The purple textures and crashes are because you are running out of vram. The purple "textures" are actually missing textures that the game cant generate because it does not have the vram to do so , try replacing some of your texture mods with the lower resolution options as in 4k down 2k or remove some textures (this should be safe as they are unscripted) Also I see you have floral overhaul which depending on the version is a big vram user, try switching to a more basic version. Skyrim performance monitor is a really handy tool for monitoring your vram and can be found here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491/? Hope this helps.

Hi I had this problem and it was a bug with skyrim enhanced camera and realistic ragdoll force, same with me it just started to happen mid play through, uninstalled both of em then reinstalled ,that cleared it up.

Hi Looking at your mod list you have a few mods that are linked to combat dance of death, deadly combat, no spinning death animation, locational damage and deadly mutilation ,I would guess its a conflict with one of these maybe the last two as they run along the same lines.

How to prevent dark, splotchy skin on NPCs during combat
jpm22112 replied to ThD17gj692's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi I think it is blood as the vanilla game does not have sweat and the only sweat mods I know of are sporty sexy sweat and wet bumps which just put glistening streaks or bumps on the skin, a kind of shiny effect, I don't know why your blood is so black though, what mods are you using? -
Hi I would upgrade to a quad core processor (does not have to be the latest model) but you do want to be on at least 3.5 ghz for the latest games and spend as much as you can on a new graphics card (this is the most important piece of kit) also maybe go up too 16gb of ram. As a guide here are my specs and basically I can run all the new games on ultra settings: CPU I-4790k 4.0ghz (Quad core) GPU 4gb EVGA GTX 980 (only the new TI version and the Titan X are better) 16GB of ram Hope this is helpful.

Load order and mods crashing skyrim upon bootup
jpm22112 replied to Pikan90's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi Check the climates of tamriel installation ,it can be a bit tricky. Make sure you selected the right options and that you have the corresponding mods or dlc. -
Deadly mutilation naked torso (no nude mods)
jpm22112 replied to shadowkiller494's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi I believe its a known bug in the mod that if you cleave someone in half who is wearing a full head to toe armour they end up naked,I think it says this on the mod description somewhere. -

Hi You just need to tick the boxes next to the mods in the plugin list on the right if you want them in the game. -

Hi I did have Ihud but found the cursor kept coming back on screen even though I had disabled it in Ihud so instead I went with the nohud mod and it works well, better then Ihud for me but you don't get the customization, its just no hud (obviously) but it might get rid of your issue.

Thought I would share this tale of my utter stupidity. Late last night after many beers I started tweaking my enb local ini (yes bad idea I know) Anyway I had been reading up on the S.T.E.P project on memory and some other ini settings that I thought would help my heavily modded game so I went in and made those changes (Yes I made a copy of ini before hand) then launched my skyrim game "Argh no!!!!" the screen was now blurry like looking at 3D without the glasses! Went back into my enb local ini and spotted the problem"Arh!" disable blur was set to false! so I set it to true and launched skyrim, blurred screen! Ok sod the changes lets put my old ini back and call it a night so put my good old ini back and launched skyrim and its worse,so much worse! Now I am sweating! what have I done? Its the enb right? must be as its the only thing I have messed with, uninstall emb, launch skyrim its fracking blurred!!! now its 2.00am and I am struggling to get my enb back installed all the while my god dam blurry as hell skyrim keeps crashing when like a ray of pure heavenly understanding I know! I know how utterly dumb and stupid I have been! maybe it was the booze or the lateness of the hour that had rendered me so inept but the blurriness was a frostfall screen effect! my character was standing in a snow storm on a bloody mountain wearing some skimpy outfit freezing to death! Hahaha the shame I feel.

Hi Have you recently removed any mods that were in a saved game? the papyrus seems to indicate missing files. Have you tried running Loot? it could help you identify the problem and sort your load order.

CTD at Windhelm, Cannot figure out why
jpm22112 replied to TacticalTeddyBear's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi Windhelm is notorious for ctds its one of those areas that puts loads of stress on the game engine and nearly everyone gets a crash there some time or another, does this happen often? have you got any mods that change the Windhelm area? -
[Help] CTD Issues despite LOOT showing all good
jpm22112 replied to McGamer's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi I recommend uninstalling each mod one at time and launching the game after each one then if its good reinstall that mod and repeat the process until you find the trouble maker. Hope you sort it. -
Hi Having a big game changing overhaul mod like skyre is ok if you have very few other mods but with the amount of stuff in your mod list I think this is your main problem and whats killing your game. Also I think you need to cut down on the amount of scripted mods in your load order, I tend to stay away from mods that add major scripts like windstandmine and your market stall for example and mods that add npc's and spawns (just use one or two) also you have a lot of big quest mods installed I would reduce these as well (if I want to use a quest mod I add it in when I want to play it and then complete it or remove it straight away if it is giving me issues and then go back to the last clean save). So for me the rules are texture mods, armor and weapons, charcter body/skin mods are pretty safe. anything else you have to install one at a time and stress test your game hard! before you save it! Don't give up! I have screamed, cried, punched myself and sweated blood over my skyrim but it is possible to get it right! I am now running 160 mods and no crashes (ok that's a lie but it happens very very rarely). Hope some of my rambling helps.

Can't launch game after adding mods.
jpm22112 replied to Paul1Neuberger's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hi The only way is to deactivate all your mods and then reinstall them one at a time and try to launch the game after each one is installed until you find the one that's crashing your game, but its the kind of thing that happens when a mod is installed and is missing a master (a mod that needs to be installed before it in the load order) or maybe another mod that you ticked the options box for in error but don't have installed ,for example Climates of tamriel has options for wymtooth and falskar but if don't have the mods and tick the options box its crash city baby. Anyway be of good heart for a crash at game launch is the most common and easy problem to fix. -
Well done ,glad you are getting it sorted.

Hi It looks like the sounds of skyrim in game option box that comes up when you first install it but all messed up. Don't know what the second one is though.
