  1. Re-reading your comment, that you went to steamapps/common/Skyrim SE/skse64launcher.exe or what and where ever it is for you and didn't find any mods is strange. Whatever mod organizer you use would be irrelevant as it's just a pointer to the .exe. Have you validated versions? Don't think you've said anything about AE or SE. Recent changes or updates?

  3. As far as CC content, it would be treated the same as any other mod. It sounds as if your loot plugins are under limit so I don't know.
  4. Sorry, don't know MO. I use Vortex and it's a one-click deal.
  5. +Forgot. There is a option in steam to move game directory. https://www.purevpn.com/blog/move-steam-games-to-another-drive/#How_to_Move_Steam_Games_on_Your_Computer_3_Simple_Methods
  6. Steam>Library-right click game. Choose properties>Updates. Set to only update when game is launched. I'm gonna assume you're using skse, so then that makes steam just a "legitimate copy" verifyer. If you bought your game from steam of course. Don't know about purchased cd's if they still need steam or not. As far as moving Vortex, what I did was to go into my username/appdata/roaming/vortex/downloads (default location) copied that folder to a new location, (this is all installed mods) then Uninstaller and reinstalled vortex where I wanted, made sure that vortex>settings>downloads was pointing to new download (archive) directory. Can't remember if I had to actually reinstall or not, but at least you don't have to re-download all your mods.
  7. What is your video card? Possibly cannot grab all the necessary resources. Lot of data there in the lush forests.
  8. Make your entire skyrim folder as a exception to your virus protection and also make sure you have the correct address library installed. AE version and not SE version.
  9. There's the reason I stuck with 1.5.97. Still too many bugs and I don't know how many mods have been updated to the AE edition yet. Some are, some may never be, some it's not necessary.
  10. Found your problem. Look at the far left column of your load order. See all those number 254's? You've overloaded your mods. The max number of plugins that skyrim can handle is 254. So, you have 2 options that I can see. #1 cut your mods down to where your plugins are under the max limit of 254. #2 go through plugins and mark as light plugin (.esl) all possible. Don't know what mod manager you use. I use Vortex myself and marking as light easy peezy. I'm running right at 300 mods with 102 active plugins and 185 light plugins. Light plugins don't count towards the max available plugin slots.
  11. Question. Have you gone through and marked as a light (.esl) all available plugins?
  12. Disabling mod immersive creatures or fins creatures won't matter really. You have to actually remove mod. If you just disable, the files are still there in your data folder, therefore, when you load game those files are read without any animations attached

  14. Strange one. Yesterday was fine. This morning I updated DAR, installed a few new animations. When I first started this morning, in the loading messages in the upper left corner, I noticed a message that stated "MCM registered 44 new menus." Went into MCM and now the left hand Mod name, when clicked, does not match the corresponding mod. i.e. I click on BFL (Better Face Lighting) shows Immersive Creatures with configuration settings. I have run my saves through Fallrim tools to no avail. I'm wondering if there is maybe a .json file or something that associates the mod MCM name with the correct mod configuration file settings? I try real hard to not just fix a problem but understand why it occurred. So, education is always good, help is even better. Attaching Loot file below. One thing I almost forgot. I also ran CAO last night on the Vortex Mods Staging folder. Think that is the right one. Seemed to be. Don't know if this info is absolutely necessary, but..... AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6 Core 3.2 GHz 16GB ram Nivida GTX 1060 3GB VM 1GB Vortex mod manager Skyrim SE 1.5.97 SKSE64 2.0.20 Game directory: D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition Thank you in advance.
