  1. The UTube videos are your best friend when it comes to this sort of issue. I was having issues with dirty edits for the longest time till I took the time to watch some tutorials and learned to apply the lessons learned. They really are helpful but if there is still some gray areas I am sure there be knowledgeable folks here willing to help out.
  2. Yup, these things happen and its usually some other mod that causes it. I usually look to the latest mod I installed when issues arise and yucky skin textures are the worst. Glad you fixed it.
  3. When was the latest update? I always run steam in offline mode and never install the updates if I can get away with it so I am not sure when this update occurred. I also have the back up of what rendition I am playing atm. I have none of their creation club crap so I could care less about their updates since I am finally running smooth for once.
  4. Not sure what is going on but since the last update of FO4edit LOOT indicates that all of the DLC's are dirty as well as quite a few of the mods. Do I need something other than LOOT as an organizer or can this be remedied without me, a non modder, going in and trying to clean these items up and most likely screwing it all up?
  5. If I hear one more time one of those whiny ass settlers say "I hope you are not one of those synths here for me." they are going to be getting a full blast in the face from a shotgun. You go out of your way to provide all the comforts available in whats left of the world around you and they come up with this. Personally I call it piss poor writing over at Bethesda but none the less it is why there are far less settlements in each play through. I now look to more mods that add more content and more areas given hat Bethesda is more concerned with the CC then any further DLC's. Long live the Modders.
  6. Was wondering the same since LOOT says all of the DLC's from Bethesda are dirty even though its a clean install. Wonder if this is a steam issue?
  7. Had the same issue with the scripts folder even though it was there. So, i manually used the NMM and installed it that way and it works. Not sure how but it works.
  8. glad someone figured this out and that it wasn't just me. At first thought it was a video issue, will update looks menu to see if its fixed now, thanks again.
  9. Also having strange issues since last update. Issues such as rubber banding(new for me), slide show in areas where there is a whole lot going on, and some ctd's when repairing lights in some settlements. Thing is, some of these are ongoing but the rubber banding is new. I am in offline mode, 16gb of ram and using a GTX 1070 that I monitor the heat on since they seem to be a bit twitchy. No real issues before and the mods have not been changed or added to. Might look at deleting or deactivating some to ts the issues to see if its a mod.
  10. Why can they not bother to clean their own DLC's? Don't recall them advertised as being dirty and missing parts. As much as I enjoy the many different aspects to this game it really is a buggy mess.
  11. Not really much help but have experienced this as well since the last updates. Other mods as well not behaving the way they should as well. It seems that once I get a stable build some weird update comes along, through either windows or steam, and really screws things up. Just got through building a new pc and downloaded afresh install of FO4 and mods and I am now spending all my time trying to resolve most of these issues. AAF appears to be one of them for me as well as others. Will post if anything new happens.
  12. It just started happening today actually. No enemy message just the message that FT is unavailable from this location and it happens no matter where i am outside. I have even gone far away from anyone and it still malfunctions as though I am in either survival mode or my pip boy is broken . Not using any power armor either. Its just some weird glitch that all of a sudden reared its ugly head. Been playing since launch and had a variety of mods off and on through plenty of play throughs and this is a first for me. Double checked my ini. files as well. It might be because I haven't done the last BS update they came out with but that would be a reach maybe and I play on offline mode always.
  13. This bug just happened to me as well. Get the warning that Fast Travel is not available from this location. Its like I am stuck inside somewhere even though I am outside and running about.
  14. Ok, simple question about Wyre Bash. Its located in the Skyrim mod files, do you have to have Skyrim installed in order to use it or will it install on its own like LOOT does if you download it manually?
  15. To be honest the settlers in this game are pretty useless in settlements. The more you have the more useless they become. I have reached the point where I usually have maybe between 5 and 10 and no more. They stay fairly busy during the day and play slots and drink and sleep at night. The only ones I have seen doing weird stuff is in Sanctuary but I rarely go there anymore. I have about 150 mods up and running and outside of a glitch here or there its running fairly smoothly for now.
