You download it through Steam after the key is activated. Anyone see any problems with doing it that way? Saving $20 is a hell of a price. If it works the same, and is recognized by Steam....why not?

Huh. Yeah, great for you guys in the US. Stupid Amazon won't let Canadian customers even download music or games from their site. Every time I have tried to buy anything from them, it tells me the same thing. :wallbash: I've tried the Canadian Amazon site for stuff, but it's terrible.

How do these recommended mods mesh with other "official" items such as Bathesda's current patch, and the hi-res textures? What order should they be placed? Should I install Bathesda's patch....and then the Unofficial Patch? It would be nice to know in what order everything should be installed. I'm also interested in one of the body replacer/animated mods. I've heard that the patches and the hi-res textures install will overwrite any body replacers or animations. So, should I then install that last?

Thanks for everyone's replies. I appreciate it ! As it turns out, I'm wrong about the Video Card's on board RAM - according to several sites, the actual memory size is 2 gigs DDR5. So, that being said I should be golden, right? I'll certainly take the system RAM advice to heart, also.

Why? All I want is some feedback on whether this is a good combination of hardware, what I can expect from this running Skyrim, and some suggestions on where I perhaps should have focused more on. I am also looking for people that have a similar setup - particularly the 680 video card. This is a newly released card, so I am looking for comments on how it fared with Skyrim. I already got one serious reply that I found quite helpful. Your observation OTOH......not so much. Yes, I'm excited about getting a new system - my last one was 5 years ago. I want to run Skyrim off the SSD drive, so I think the load times will be super-fast. Check out the video card.....

Thanks to all who replied. Striker879 - Interesting mod. I read the description, but couldn't tell if this spell is permanent, or temporary. That is, once you change an NPC's body type, they can never go back to the vanilla look? So, once you had changed say - a City Guard to an HGEC C-cup with BBB and Pretty Woman Walk, you would then need to download an Armour replacer for that NPC's particular body and amour type? And you would have to do the same for all the body types? My only concern is that I don't want my Player Character messed with - only want to change the NPCs.

I have the HGEC H-Cup body with Ozmos Hi Res skin, hair & face, and BBB and Women's Move animation - which are all working perfectly. My question is - why do all the female NPCs have the exact same body type as my character, as well as having the BBB animation? I was in Makhor Cameran's Paradise and there were some of the followers walking around topless. Then I noticed that everything I had done to my character had also appeared on them. All except for Women's Move animation, and while my character has that, they do not. Is the only way to change this to install a mod that changes the NPCs walks, clothing & body types independently of my character?

Ok. Right now I have the following MODS installed: HGEC Female Body H Cup Ozmo's Hi-Res Skin Textures Ozmo's Hi-Res Hair & Face Textures I have one or two armours that are geared to the HGEC H Cup Body and they look and work fine. Now, say I wanted to install The Better Bouncing Breasts Mod for H Cup HGEC bodies.....Is there a specific order that certain Mods have to be installed in, in order for everything to work properly? I have my character's face and body exactly the way I like it and I don't want to mess up the appearance. I also understand that changing the skeleton is required to use the BBB Mod. Would installing that on top of what I already have cause problems? Or is it better to completely uninstall everything and start over with everything in a specific sequence? Although I am not new to installing Mods (I use OBMM) I am rather ignorant of what's necessary with textures, meshes and skins etc. and need a bit of a helping hand :) Any input would be appreciated.

I've noticed some screenshots on websites showing the Inventory Screen, which is displaying at least 20 items that are visible at the same time. Mine shows about 5 or 6. The resolution is higher on those screenshots, but shouldn't my Inventory Screen have changed with my graphics resolution? Obviously, either by a MOD, an in-game setting, or a tweak, this can be changed. How is it done? Here is my config: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 6000 4 gigs RAM NVidia 8800 with 1 Gig OBM Samsung Syncmaster 2220 Digital I am running the game at 1680 x 1050 Widescreen with all settings to max.

You know, I love this game to the max, but even stripped of all mods and body replacers, it still crashes, locks up, and now I have noticed that the video goes all wacky with weird colours and textures. That thankfully doesn't occur very often, but the crashes - particularly when entering buildings - persist. I specifically cannot quit the game properly - I have to bring up the Task Manager and End Program from there. Quitting in the game just locks up and I have to reboot to get the computer back. I have everything up to date, including video drivers (which helped some, but not enough) I also have been playing Oblivion with no crashes at all. Recent other games I have played with NO CRASHES or problems: Battlefield 2, Oblivion, FEAR 2, Half Life 2 Ep 1, Bioshock. No problems, no issues.

Spoiler: In Broken Steel after the Purifier is taken over by the Brotherhood, I went into Bigsly's (or whatever his name is) office. He gives you 2 quests. I was doing well with the quests, finished them both and was leaving his office for the last time. Throughout the game, I tend to turn on any radios I see, no matter where they are. Never had an issue with somebody losing their cool when I switched one on or off. However, when I turned on the radio in this guy's office, everybody LOSES it and starts ATTACKING me! What the hell? They want to KILL me for switching on a radio??? The dialogue for this radio wasn't even showing as red, for Heaven's sake! A serious bug in the AI, I think. Anyway, I had to waste everybody in the outer area, except Bigsly who then behaved as if nothing had happened.

I tried posting this ins another thread, but nobody seems to be responding. I got the Mysterious Stranger perk as soon as I was able and I must say I'm very disappointed. First, I would say that the Mysterious Stranger has happened for me maybe 6-10 times in the literally hundreds of times I've fought using V.A.T.S. And then, I never even have seen him at all in the camera angles, I hear the "strum" sound, or occasionally see monsters reacting to his presence - even seeing a shot from his gun on occasion. But I have NEVER actually SEEN him. At all. Ever. I then installed the MysteriousWoman Mod and I *guess* she appears as a woman now - but I don't know. Never ever seen her, either. Is this the way the Perk is supposed to work? I mean, ONE time out of every 50 V.A.T.S. sessions seems hardly worth having it. Is anyone else experiencing similar? Either with or without the MysteriousWoman Mod? Is there any way to tweak it to occur more frequently, and actually lay eyes on him/her? Any and all comments welcome.
