  1. My story is a little similar to that of Neehsen. Custom follower I had made, adventured from level one with, you know the type. Adventuring had always been challenging, but never difficult, until we had to go into Kilkreath (Meridia's temple), the necromancer at the end took quite a few attempts before I actually succeeded. Its the type of fight where you have to use scrolls that you only picked up to sell later, potions you made to level your alchemy skill, and sneak attacks when you play a bust in the door warrior, that kind of difficult fight. After maybe the 10th time, we finally killed the guy, and I was in the whole "YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUS" moment when I saw my follower on the floor, covered in blood (thanks EBT....). My mood went from bliss to shock horror in a moment, hitting the quickload key was the fastest thing I have ever done. That kids is why you roleplay, you feel stuff.
  2. Both sides have their flaws The empire tried to execute you, and are under the thumb of the dominion. The stormcloaks are like the dominion in that they dont like the foreign races, they oppress the argonians and dark elves in windhelm, and they have the same superior attitude. I tend to just ignore the war, or choose based on whomever I am roleplaying, if I choose at all.
  3. Game wise, they dont care unless you are a vampire. Lore wise, I imagine they would hold the same views as the Vigilants, with more of an emphasis on vampires.
  4. I imagine Thalmor as being rather arrogant, with an inflated sense of self importance (this may just be the high elves) and spurn those who are not part of the dominion. Depending on how deep you want to roleplay, you could incorparate that into it as well.
  5. (Not sure if right section, feel free to eat me) So im trying to mod some body scars onto my char by combining textures from people on the nexus, it looks great. I put the textures together in photoshop, move them over to gimp, export as a dds, works fine. I put the textures together in gimp, export as a dds, and half of my chars hands turns black looks the same on both sides, through I only added the scar to one side, as you can see below http://i1320.photobucket.com/albums/u525/LeAmuseMe/2014-07-30_00001_zps9c010af2.jpg This is what it looks like in gimp http://i1320.photobucket.com/albums/u525/LeAmuseMe/Untitled_zpse3a7ca6a.jpg Help please
  6. I use the followers from Interesting NPCS, namely Rumarin and Zora Fair Child. Both are voiced very well and have unique personalities, Rumarin is funny, Zora is somewhat grim and has learned many lessons the hard way. These are two of many, I think there are 15 available for marriage too. While the mod does have its issues, massive filesize being one of them, I cant stand unvoiced characters, I want to build a relationship with the NPC, not just have a mindless automaton following me. Vilja is good (in my opinion) at going deep and behaving like an actual person, the best ive seen, and she has a TONNE of other options, like letting her lead, an actual romance and more, but only if you can get past the voice acting. Its not so much as bad as it doesn't fit in with the rest of the voices, which some people (myself included) find jarring. INPC: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8429/? 7. Not sure if its what your after, but pinup poser by Halofarm does have a small portion dedicated to male-esqe poses, some of which are pretty good, and similar to what you want. The ex category also has a few poses that are meant to be used with weapons as well, and dont look overly feminine. Here is a link to his site, http://mod.dysintropi.me/?s=pinup+poser some of the images around are NSFW so be warned. Pinup isnt too hard to install, but you need FNIS (pretty much all pose mods do). Also, the YM Zweihander animation for 2H weapons looks really good, im pretty sure that needs FNIS too though A link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16351/? And FNIS in case you need it http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/? Good luck buddy!
