Confused about NMM with Steam Workshop
LordInquisitor117 replied to LordInquisitor117's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'm not sure what that is, so I'm guessing that I do not use it. So, reinstalled everything in one single Skyrim folder. Still didn't work. Every time I activate more than a few mods in any one category, the previous few deactivate. -

Nope! It didn't help at all. -

Alright, I've moved my Steam folders and I'm just gonna re-download Skyrim, NMM, and all my mods :P let's hope that works! -

Okay, that makes me feel silly. But I keep trying to activate mods, and once I've activated a few (in the same series - the Skyrim HD 2k and the Book of Silence ones) other mods previously activated go from green checks to red Xs again. -

What do you mean by activating the mods? In NMM, all of the mods have red Xs next to them but I can't tell what that means. Is there any way to move Steam game files to a new folder? -

No, they are not. Well that certainly explains that part of the problem. Am I going to have to manually move all of the .esps from NMM to the Steam folder, and will that still work? -
I just downloaded Skyrim on Steam, and have downloaded several mods using NMM. But whenever I launch the game (either from NMM, SKSE, or Steam) none of my mods load. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I installed NMM in a C:/Games folder, but Skyrim is still in its original Steam folder. Is that what's causing my problem? I have a dickload of other Steam games, so I don't really want to have to reinstall Steam and all that.
