  3. A problem I had with one of the CC addons (Fishing) was that crab meat was not dropping from crabs. A check of XEdit and the Creation Kit by other players confirmed that, though a loot list for crabs included crab legs, chitin and crab meat; the crab meat was not tied to any of the mudcrabs. I was wondering if someone would create a mod to properly tie crab meat to the crabs. Thank you in advance if you can fix this problem.

  5. Just a quick question about Mirai: Girl with the dragon heart. When is the best time to start her questlines? Just after visiting the Greybeards and running into Mirak's lackies, during the Dragonborne questline or after Mirak is already dead?
  6. One thing that didn't make sense about Skyrim is that the blacksmiths will talk about upgrading gear, but are little more than specialized merchants. Was wondering if anyone is making / has made a mod that would enable merchants to upgrade weapons and armor for a fee (based on the materials). One idea would be that the gear they work on would be based on the smith / area (Alvor in Riverwood would work Iron, Steel, Leather, Hide), Gorza in Markarth would go up to Dwarven / Orcish, and the smiths in Solitude / Windhelm would provide factional gear).
  7. I've got a similar problem where at some point, the saves only list under "All Saves" rather than the character name. The only saves listed for the character are the first 2 or 3 at the beginning of the game. Any ideas?
  8. So far I like the changes, especially that it appears to have eliminated duplicate entries in the load order (making reinstalling deleted mods / searching download history easier) :thumbsup:
  9. I just installed Skyrim SE and have begun the process of modding, but am trying to decide on which character creation/editing mod to use. Should I go with RaceMenu or Enhanced Character Edit SE? I'm mainly interested in which is easier to work with, has the most / best options between them and the fewest problems. Any advice is appreciated.
  10. One thing I've wondered about is why certain trainers could not also (for a much higher fee,quest,etc.) could not also train you in related perks for that skill. Some examples: Ghorza being able to train you in Orcish / Dwarven Smithing(Orc smith in a city built over a Dwemer ruin), Danica Pure-Springs (Restoration Perks), Eorland Grey-Mane (Ebony/Daedric/Dragonbone), Vipre The Fleet (Pickpocket) and Vilkas (Two Handed Weapons). Would anyone be interested in creating a mod that would allow Master level trainers to train your character in those perks (or in the case of, say, Ghorza) a race specific skill? Obviously to prevent (or lessen) turning characters into a Mary Sue/Gary Stu, have perk training be at a fairly high price (20k+) and / or limit to how may perks you can gain from them. Thanks in advance for considering this.
  11. I've had the same problem with this quest line. Get to the point where Blood's Honor (C04) is supposed to trigger and ....nothing. Companions won't offer jobs and Alea / Kodlak will not mention it. Console commands failed starting over did not help. Finally found a mod that takes care of it (at least in my case). Enhanced Skyrim Factions: Companions Guild http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22650/? This mod seems to force the questline to continue once it's requirements are met (number of radiant quests/ skill levels). Was finally able to finish after installing it. Hope this helps.

Startquest / Setstage console commands Fast Travel to Whiterun Stable and walk to Jorvaskaar Finished the "Helm of Winterhold" quest (was not at any location for the companion quests) Started New Game (twice) Check for any mods that change/conflict with the Companions (none)
  13. A feature I would like to see added would be the ability to clean up the download history list. Specifically the ability to remove duplicate/old entries with a single button press. This could make it much easier to find favorite mods, esp. if you need to reinstall a particular game.

  16. Found something unusual in the Delilah-Mojave MD mod. In the main folder (DelilahMMD1V7FULL---->Data) in addition to the mesh/sound/texture folders and the esp file is another data folder. Inside this is a texture folder and a second esp file( also named delilah.esp). Any idea how this is installed , which .esp to use or if the texture folders should be combined. or should the extra folder be deleted?
  17. Would it be possible to enable users to either delete their download history or at least remove duplicate/old entries? Mine is starting to get a bit bloated and the ability to at least clean up the list would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering this.
  18. Please excuse this if it's been requested before. It's well known that the Companion quest lines are seriously broken. Especially when Aela is involved (Blood's Honor). The quests will not start,even after completing the prerequisites, and not even using console commands will correct it. Is there any way for a modder to correct this and allow the quest line to continue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  19. I have the same problem. I've completed the companions quest line up to where "Blood's Honor" is supposed to start, but Aela will not even offer the "work" option. Using setstage will not trigger the quest or get any response from her. Also, trying the disable/enable trick on her permanently disables her requiring loading an earlier save to bring her back. So, I'm stuck as a werewolf and the questline going nowhere. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
  20. I've recently reinstalled Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition and plan to restore the mods I previously used. Since Nexus Mod Manager doesn't seem to work well with .dazip files, I'm trying to decide between DOA Mod Manager (which I've used before) and DAModder. Which one would you recommend, and why?
  21. Something that might fit in (more or less) with the Fallout world would be an SCP Foundation facility, complete with a few projects that survived the US-China nuclear war. In addition to a heavily defended base (turrets, sentry bots, etc.) there could be the ghoulified survivors of the original foundation personnel (Researchers, Mobile Task Force Members, Security, D-Class personnel or even the O5's as Think Tanks) and several projects. These could range from the relatively Safe SCP-127 (The Living Gun) and 296 (the Coffee Machine) to more dangerous projects like SCP 096 (Shy Guy) and 137 (The Statue) to even keter class monstrosities like SCP 682 (The Unkillable Reptile). Would anyone be interested in creating this?
  22. When using the "Northern Passage" tunnel, both at the beginning and end of Honest Hearts, the character is unable to move forward( esp. at the end which makes leaving impossible). Also, at the beginning, all npcs are bunched together. Has anyone else run into this problem and is there a solution?
  23. Thanks. Tried the file check on steam but got no results. The author for New Vegas Anti Crash suggested it was a problem with a mod. A quick check in FNVEdit by loading all files found an esp file that was corrupted during an upgrade.
  24. Until recently, Fallout New Vegas was working with no problem. However, starting today, the game freezes at the start screen ( graphic of man in power armor with a casino sign in the background). The only way out is with the task manager which lists Fallout New Vegas and "Error" running.   25. One other thing that might help, somewhat, is the mod New Vegas Anti Crash. It's regularly updated and has cut crashes down quite a bit (though there is still the hang up and occasional crash.) You can get the latest version here: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/53635 This mod's been a major relief for a program that crashes almost as much as the obamacare website.
