  1. Are you sure fose is enabled? Because that sounds exactly like it running without fose.
  2. Ive already started it. I am asking for help. I am not saying that I want someone to make the mod for me. I am learning how to make mods, and any help would be appreciated. In what way do your comments add anything constructive to this thread?
  3. I made an NCIS trench coat/ overcoat custom texture of the Col. Autumn mesh, which works perfectly when I load it into NifSkope. However, when I load the mesh in the GECK, it crashes, and if I tried to load it by making an armor, it spits out a line 144 error. Please help me! I'm at my wit's end.
  4. I searched this forum and was shocked to find that no-one even mentioned NCIS once! I have decided to organize an attempt to fill that void. This mod would: Add the team's faces/hairstyles as preset options. Add the SIG P226/P228 as weapons in the game. Hopefully add those snazzy coats, suits, as well as some sunglasses for the DiNozzo lovers This mod might: Add other team members as possible companions. Add an NCIS headquarters building as a player home/ possible quest receiving location. Add a partially finished wooden boat somewhere in the wasteland. This mod has a slight chance to: Add a short (or long, depending on response) quest series of investigations. If so, these investigations would involve science/ intelligence/ perception/ etc. checks, as well as the occasional gunfight. Add an investigation template that could be used by makers of other mods or people who wanted to expand this one. (Talk to so-and-so, with perception/ other checks built in, track down a criminal NPC) Add a sniping mission similar to what Gibbs and the team did to rescue Ziva. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Many of you may think that this is a great idea. However, for this to work, I will need more than support, I will need help. Loads of it. I cannot model or texture, I am a poor area maker at best, and I can not figure out how to make a Gibbs face, let alone a Ziva, Mcgee, DiNozzo, or Ducky! I am, however, exceptionally gifted at writing, organizing, and brainstorming. I also have some minor talents at scripting, and I can proofread/ beta test very well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If any of you think this mod is a good idea and have any talents at all that you can share, please do so. It doesn't matter if you can just make a good Abby Sciuto face, or are good with the GECK cell designer, or even if you can just Navmesh. That stuff's important!   6. Thank you for the advice, and that is a great mod. However, it does not provide what I am looking for: a script/ setting that could provide varying "degrees" of suppressed weaponry (for instance, a 9mm silenced should be louder than a .22 silenced.) Thank you again for posting, but this mod does not address the main topic.
  7. Ive been playing 20th century weapons for a while now, and im tired of noone hearing my suppressed 9mm smg. I was wondering if there is a way to make different degrees of gun noise, apart from "silent", "normal", and "loud". For instance, a "quiet", for, say, a suppressed 9mm. I am aware that the GECK has certain built-in limitations, but is there a way that a script could do it? Thanks in advance.
  8. I came up with an idea for how to make a reflex sight that actually works without ridiculous amounts of reanimating. (no reanimating, actually. I'm not sure if this would be possible, but couldn't someone just make a "scope" that has a transparent area surrounding the texture of a reflex sight on top of a gun? Like __________________________ _______-----------___________ _______[_______]___________ _______[___*___]__________ _______[_______]___________ _______[][][][][][]__________ Where everything (not just the inside of the sight is transparent, on top of a generic gun with a generic tac rail?
  9. I know that, so I mean, have a separate mesh for, say, the silencer, and have a script that places the silencer mesh right in front of the gun.
  10. I'm fairly new at modding, and I have no actual clue if this would work,but would it be possible to take Weapon Mod Kits and make it easy to apply them to other weapons? I ask because I was messing with WMK in the GECK, and I was surprised at the number of different entries for different versions of the same weapon. For those of you who do not know what WMK is, it allows you to use workbenches to modify certain guns with silencers, laser sights, etc. My question is this: would it be possible to make, say, one mesh for a pistol silencer, one mesh for a pistol laser sight, etc., and then make a script that just adds the silencer mesh immediately in front of the unmodified gun? The same script could also take care of modifications to weapon stats. I ask because, if that worked, it would be easy to apply the WMK idea to any gun. Please advise. Just fyi, the original wmk uses one entire mesh for each variation of the gun (1 with silencer, no extended mag, one with both, one with just extended mag)
  11. Is there any way to change the fact that when I kill someone normally, (not with sandman) Everyone in the town knows I did it? Like, for instance, lets say I want to Kill the rivet city second-in-command with a silenced gun, bust into the armory, and steal everything. But if I try that, even in stealth when nobody is watching, the whole town is hostile. Is there any way to fix that? I mean, like, they don't know about it, not just I wait a few days and come back.
  12. My mods were all working very well, no major bugs, etc. Then I downloaded HeroinZero's Samurai Edge Beretta, and Deliverance6's Buster sword. They both worked perfectly in the geck (All textures good, etc) so I dropped the into my Megaton house. The textures were all screwy. It is solid beige. It is supposed to be black and silver. Then random textures started flicking across my other weapons, and now, every on I've checked so far is like that, but they all look normal in the geck. Please help me!!
