A GTX 460? That's a 4 year old GPU and probably your issue with too much being loaded into VRAM. That card only has 1GB of VRAM. Avoid any high-res textures that are above 1K and try to avoid just any extra texture mods.

After cleaning a bunch of my Skyrim files the error went away. I had about 15 dirty edits and continued to crash when leaving Riverwood.

I've been using Wrye Bash for 3 years now, and out of nowhere I'm getting the following error upon startup I researched and can't find out what this means. I have reinstalled Wrye Bash twice and it won't go away. I'm noticing it was auto refresh anymore when clicking back into the window.

In response to post #28964114. Good to see another user who actually reads. My conversion went flawlessly with 175 mods installed. There were a couple that needed reinstalling, but it was no big deal.

In response to post #28955319. Agreed! I'm glad to see users like this on here who are mature and responsible and READ READ READ READ READ. I can't tell people enough, but the main reason why NMM staff gets hate mail and death threats is because the user didn't read the instructions and warnings. NMM DOESN'T owe anyone anything like you said, I have given a lot of money to NMM because it's the greatest modding community ever created and they are RESPONSIBLE, a very responsible modding team who always cover their own ass.

In response to post #28955749. #28957674, #28958254, #28958704 are all replies on the same post. It's not Windows 10, you probably have corrupted system files and your computer is a mess. Try reformatting your computer and do a fresh start or follow the mod instructions. the number one reason why people can't get NMM or mods running properly is because they don't read instructions. Not saying you don't, but it's extremely common.

In response to post #28952714. "We want it now, we want it slick, and we want it to work smoothly" Then you can wait about another year before an update. What you're asking for is unreasonable and it sounds like you're an impatient child. You KNOW this software is in beta, READ THE LOGS, READ THE WARNINGS, this article is 100% correct and the NMM staff is usually always right. A lot of the users here are immature children (literally) and are spoiled brats who demand stuff NOW. Fix your computer or learn how to use the software probably. I have rarely EVER had issues with NMM is you FOLLOW THE MOD INSTRUCTIONS and READ. Trust me, reading goes a long way. You are EXACTLY one of the problems this article is talking about.

I don't understand why everyone is having huge issues. The migration worked flawlessly for me. I have 175 mods so it took sitting over night for it to finish, but it worked fine. I have a feeling, and know from personal experience with dozens of other computers, that a lot of people have poorly maintained computers, but get in a rage when someone tells them it is. Hard drives are heavily fragmented, all their files are a huge freaking mess, spyware and malware are eating away at their computer like a buffet, and everything is poorly optimized, they have corrupted system files, the list goes on. A lot of these same people have also never formatted their computer in years, never restarted or downloaded windows updates in months because they're too impatient or lazy to do it, or have very old hardware.

enbhost.exe loads infinite instances

I spent hours figuring this out! Found a fix to keep Synapse running while using ENB. Disable the data tracking under Stats in Synapse. It records data in the background and causes ENB to crash. -
I'm a pretty avid Fallout modder (since day one). I just came back to New Vegas since I finished the game about 2 years ago. I can not get the female characters to not show the black underwear issue. ArchiveInvalidation is checked under NMM. I tried the trick of unchecking it and running the game and checking it again, but when I uncheck it the game doesn't load. It crashes on the first copyright screen. I then try to re-check it and it screws everything up. I then have to run the original Fallout launcher to reset fallout.ini and then the game finally loads. I don't get this. I used to easily mod New Vegas with no problem. I just don't understand this issue with the black underwear. I also tried unchecking read only on Fallout.ini and it didn't help.

Need advice on character mods
BinaryMessiah replied to BinaryMessiah's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I got the body mod installed without the terrible neck seam like you said, but the FCO characters have dark faces and light bodies. I also still have the black underwear issue despite trying the ArchiveInvalidation fix like you said. That part is really frustrating me. Do you have any ideas as to that and the FCO neck seam issue? -
Need advice on character mods
BinaryMessiah replied to BinaryMessiah's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
So I looked up some of the mods you suggested. I actually do prefer FCO for NPCs, but I do like the DK face textures you suggested. So what installation order should I do this? What body mod do you suggest? I know most armors are for Type 3 standard. Can I use Type3M with regular Type 3 armors or will there be issues with the armor not fitting the body? I was also wondering what order should these be installed. FCO>DK>Type 3? Type 3>DK>FCO? Or does it matter? The way body and face mods are setup in New Vegas has always confused me. -
Okay, I'm a veteran modder for New Vegas (day one player), and I've finally come back after finishing the game 3 years ago. I have re-modded my game, everything works fine...except character mods. I have Skyrim fully modded and character modding is easy. I want to ask some experienced New Vegas modders what they use for female character mods. I want to use the Fallout Character Overhaul, but my confusion is what body mod does that mod use or is it vanilla? If it is vanilla can I use another body mod like BNB, Type3, or Type3 M? I just spent 5 hours trying to figure this out and I'm probably overthinking something. I tried installing BNB and to use the BB Type 3 armors I had to install the meshes from Body by Race (I followed the BB type 3 armors instructions to a T) and I came up with black underwear and oddly shaped bodies. I then tried just Dimonized Type 3 (from Fallout 3 since the New Vegas file is gone) and I came up with floating hands and head. I fixed that, but came up with black underwear and the faces still looked vanilla. I then tried installing the Type3M body and it didn't even work...it was still the normal Type3 body but with black underwear. I had this down pat 3 years ago...I need helps guys.

I have OBGEv3 core and the shader effect files extracted where they go. I go into Oblivion and enable the plugin and try to change a setting and it doesn't work. This is really frustrating, I'm not sure what to do here.

So, I just installed Origins and I have a bunch of mods running, they work fine. I then wanted to do a head morph so I went here and downloaded the Morphs and More. I selected a preset (Mary) and renamed it to hf_cps_p01 and put it in my override. folder. I use the FaceGen Replacer (the python version) and selected the game save as the destination, the hf_mary.mor as the source. I clicked "copy everything to destination) and saved. I load up my save and my character has white hair and eyebrows and the face didn't change. Yes, I used the compiler program every time I install a mod. I also installed all the mods required for that face morph. What could be going wrong?

Thanks for the reply! I unchecked the USP and I was able to absorb the dragon soul. I went back and rechecked it after doing so, and if I run into another dragon and can't absorb the soul I will install this fix. Many thanks.

I did a clean reinstall and my game runs perfect. However during the Dragon Rising main quest I can't absorb the dragon soul. I have all the unofficial patches except Hearthfire because I don't have it. I heard disabling the USP fixes this until Dragonborn is fixed. What do I do here?

Weird and Random CTDs No Matter What I do

Is it safe to just install all mods at once or should I do a few and then load the game and save. -

What about the CTD when trying to use showracemenu if you have Apachii Hair? I crashes every single time when trying to customize my character. -

BinaryMessiah replied to BinaryMessiah's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I have the unofficial patches. I'm going to try installing the mods just with NMM and bypass Wrye Bash and BOSS and see what happens. After sorting with BOSS and Wrye Bash a few times that's when the game would even work anymore AT ALL. Even with mods disabled and back to 100% vanilla. I am also going to reverse install these mods. Body and UI mods first, then armor mods and pose mods, then the texture and ENB mods last. With the biggest ones last that will really tell me what's going on. -

Is there anything I can do when re-installing mods? Right now I get to installing Racemenu, CBBE, Lunari Race, Better males, Apachii Hair, The Eyes of Beauty, and RCM and I also get issues at that point with the game just freezing up during a new game start. I'm trying the quick start mods and starting as female character to see if that works.
