  1. What are you system specs? Some times if you are running too many mods and run out of VRAM the game will crash.
  2. Try deleting the entire Skyrim folder in My Games in your Documents folder. Also, after uninstalling Skyrim delete the actual folder in steamapps/common. Also, delete the entire NMM folder in C:/Games. This will remove EVERY trace of Skyrim on your computer to make sure a file isn't being left behind somewhere. You will also need to start a game from scratch since it sounds like you had a dirty save. If somehow it still does it...you might be installing a mod incorrectly or overlooking something in the description of the mod page. Not saying you are, it's just a possibility.
  3. First off, what specs is your PC? Second, you MUST sort your mods, use SKSE, and make sure there are no missing master files. Use Wrye Bash and make sure everything is green. Second, download the latest version of LOOT and sort your mods properly and APPLY it. Third, make sure you are using Nexus Mod Manager to download and install mods.
  4. First off, DO NOT CLEAN YOUR MODS! This is unnecessary. Cleaning Bethesda's ESM files will cause major crashes. Never clean a mod unless you know what you're doing. That's the first problem. Second, the game crashing at startup means a master file is missing that an esp is dependent on. Use Wrye Bash and make sure everything is green. Next, sort the game with the latest version of LOOT and apply it. Also, make sure you have the latest version of SKSE installed. Also, make sure you have the latest Nvidia driver (353.30).
  5. What are you system specs? It looks like you are playing the game on lowest graphics settings. Try increasing the texture settings in the launcher.
  6. There's a conflicting mod somewhere. Run Wrye Bash and make sure everything is green. This will mean there are no missing master files. Second, run LOOT and properly sort your mods. Third, if it still happens delete your entire Skyrim folder and start over. It's tough, I have deleted and restarted my game many times learning the ins and outs of modding Skyrim, but it's some times the only way. It sounds like an AI issue to be honest. There must be an AI mod leaving a script behind in the save so now you have a dirty save.
  7. Sounds like corrupted .NET frameworks. Try reinstalling the latest version of .NET framework.
  8. Are you running any mods? If so which ones? What are your PC specs? You need to give us more info. That's a very vague error message.
  9. Make sure you use Wryse Bash to see if everything is green. If it is, there's no missing master files. Second, use LOOT to sort your mods. Third, make sure you have the specs to run a modded Skyrim. What are your specs? Skyrim is very VRAM and RAM heavy. With ENB the game becomes even more VRAM and GPU dependent.
  10. That doesn't look right. That's your INVENTORY menu. If you're getting that during crafting, something's really wrong. I have SkyUI 4.1 just to clear things up. Try running Wrye Bash and make sure everything is green. Second, run LOOT and apply the sorting. It sounds like something's conflicting. Also, make sure you have the latest SKSE.
  11. It sounds to me like you're in the right place, you just don't know exactly what to do. First off, your CPU is only a dual core and isn't the best for a heavily modded Skyrim. Second, what GPU do you have? If it's a laptop with an Intel Graphics HD chip, that is NOT meant for gaming AT ALL. Second, depending on your GPU (if it's a dedicated GPU) too many mods will overload your VRAM (especially textures) and cause the game to stutter and crash. Third, you only have 8GB of RAM so make sure nothing uncessary is running in the background. First off, open Wryse Bash and make sure nothing is red. If anything is red that means the master file is missing for an esp. If everything is green or orange you're good. Second, open LOOT and click the sort button and make sure you click Apply when it is done! A lot of people forget this step. Run your game and see if it happens again. If it does...delete your entire Skyrim folder and use Nexus Mod Manager to install your mods. I recommend using Alternate Start mod so you don't risk crashing the game during the beginning cut scene. Open Wrye Bash, check to make sure everything is green, run LOOT, and apply the sort. In the end, it all depends on your computer's hardware.
  12. Use Wrye Bash and check to see if anything is red. If it is, it means the master file for that .esp is missing. It sounds like something that has to do with combat is missing and causing the game to crash when it's called for.
  13. What are the specs of your PC? Texture optimizing is mostly unnecessary these days unless you have less than 1GB of VRAM or less than 8GB of RAM. Depending on your machine just don't bother optimizing as it causes more headaches than are necessary. If you still want to do it, check the description on all mods. Some will say to NOT optimize their textures as it will cause problems. If you find any of those, un-optimize them and see if it's still happening.
  14. If you installed anything with new animations you need to have FNIS and run the FNIS Behavior check. This will get rid of T pose issues. I also suggest you download Wrye Bash and make sure nothing is red (meaning the master file for the .esp is missing) and then use LOOT to sort your mods.
  15. I spent hours figuring this out! Found a fix to keep Synapse running while using ENB. Disable the data tracking under Stats in Synapse. It records data in the background and causes ENB to crash.
  16. I'm a pretty avid Fallout modder (since day one). I just came back to New Vegas since I finished the game about 2 years ago. I can not get the female characters to not show the black underwear issue. ArchiveInvalidation is checked under NMM. I tried the trick of unchecking it and running the game and checking it again, but when I uncheck it the game doesn't load. It crashes on the first copyright screen. I then try to re-check it and it screws everything up. I then have to run the original Fallout launcher to reset fallout.ini and then the game finally loads. I don't get this. I used to easily mod New Vegas with no problem. I just don't understand this issue with the black underwear. I also tried unchecking read only on Fallout.ini and it didn't help.
  17. I got the body mod installed without the terrible neck seam like you said, but the FCO characters have dark faces and light bodies. I also still have the black underwear issue despite trying the ArchiveInvalidation fix like you said. That part is really frustrating me. Do you have any ideas as to that and the FCO neck seam issue?
  18. So I looked up some of the mods you suggested. I actually do prefer FCO for NPCs, but I do like the DK face textures you suggested. So what installation order should I do this? What body mod do you suggest? I know most armors are for Type 3 standard. Can I use Type3M with regular Type 3 armors or will there be issues with the armor not fitting the body? I was also wondering what order should these be installed. FCO>DK>Type 3? Type 3>DK>FCO? Or does it matter? The way body and face mods are setup in New Vegas has always confused me.
  19. Okay, I'm a veteran modder for New Vegas (day one player), and I've finally come back after finishing the game 3 years ago. I have re-modded my game, everything works fine...except character mods. I have Skyrim fully modded and character modding is easy. I want to ask some experienced New Vegas modders what they use for female character mods. I want to use the Fallout Character Overhaul, but my confusion is what body mod does that mod use or is it vanilla? If it is vanilla can I use another body mod like BNB, Type3, or Type3 M? I just spent 5 hours trying to figure this out and I'm probably overthinking something. I tried installing BNB and to use the BB Type 3 armors I had to install the meshes from Body by Race (I followed the BB type 3 armors instructions to a T) and I came up with black underwear and oddly shaped bodies. I then tried just Dimonized Type 3 (from Fallout 3 since the New Vegas file is gone) and I came up with floating hands and head. I fixed that, but came up with black underwear and the faces still looked vanilla. I then tried installing the Type3M body and it didn't even work...it was still the normal Type3 body but with black underwear. I had this down pat 3 years ago...I need helps guys.
  20. I have OBGEv3 core and the shader effect files extracted where they go. I go into Oblivion and enable the plugin and try to change a setting and it doesn't work. This is really frustrating, I'm not sure what to do here.
  21. No because you need Nexus Mod Manager, and any other mod won't have the same file name and can't be detected by NMM. It's better just to wait and be patient.
  22. Man, this site has been down ALL day. I just bought Oblivion GOTY and now I can't download any mods. This is really frustrating. I thought it would be back up by tonight, but it looks like it could be days. Hopefully this is fixed quickly.
  23. This was happening yesterday then cleared up later int he afternoon. It's driving me nuts! I just bought the GOTY Edition during the sale and can't download any mods. I downloaded all my mods for Fallout 3 and Steam ran out of keys so I can't play it... -_-
  24. When I quit Dragon Age the process stays in the background won't actually quit. I have to use the task manager and kill the process. Anyone know what's causing this? I'm have Windows 7 64-bit and using Steam.
