Hello, My other post seems to have died seeing as no one is writing on it and this is a different request to the other one anyway. To the point, right I really, really badly want the "Easterling" armour from LOTR and scimitar and maybe spear? I really desperately want people to make more LOTR mods, just the small ones are awesome (my PC is crap so anything big just crashes it - major suckishness I know). Truth is I cannot make textures or meshes so I come to YOU - the best elder scrolls modders in the business (maybe) and beg you to create this mod for me. Speak to you soon, Ojox

Hello, I was just having a think and maybe we need to hire newer modders who we know still mod, people who released mods recently that could effectively help us unlike UK47, I have no idea when he last made a mod and when he was last on tesnexus, I think we need to look into current modders, if we have a look through recent uploads then we can see for ourselves a racemaker and a weapon maker or whatever. Just a thought. Ojox

Ah, You make a good point, but there has to be something to do then, you can't just have orcs and goblins waltzing into minas tirith. How long did you say it might take to make minas tirith and all the rest of them? If you didn't say then how long do you think it will take? Also do you think there should be secret entrances and such to the cities? Sorry for leaving so many questions, Ojox

BRAINWAVE, Okay so my first brainwave is that one of the evil races could be mortal but you slowly turn into a nazgul? What do you think? (I can flesh this out more if you guys like it if not I'll put it in the trash bin of my brain). Second brainwave - you have to make mordor like a city kind of, and for every city if you are evil and you go to minas tirith you will be attacked but when wearing minas tirith armour you can gain passage into the city, and as for mordor as a city it will be an important place for the darker storyline and if you have uruk-hai armour on you can gain entrance? Again just some ideas to ponder, Ojox

And quickly, In answer to asking about any experienced modders why don't we contact some other fans who made LOTR mods like UK47 and CultBraiN because they've even modded for LOTR purposes so they might have some very useful skills? Just a suggestion if not why don't we see if saiden storm's still in business? Ojox

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums that's why I couldn't find your post a - I'm a bit of a newb, sorry. Right down to business. I think a good and a bad storyline would be really good, but what actual ideas do we have for the storyline at the moment lets think about it. As far as I'm aware we only know that: -We want to have a good and a bad storyline. -We want it to be based around the war of the ring merged with the oblivion crisis. -We want side quests. For now shall we stick with these main three and flesh them out a bit? For a good storyline you seem to have an awesome idea there with being a human or an elf or a dwarf and they all have ties to one of the heroes. For the bad guys (we may have to make some new races, I don't know how easy/tricky that is) but you could be an Ainur (not to be patronising but that's what Sauron was for all that don't know) and you could be related to Sauron, you could be an orc (not sure about the validity of an orc and an Ainur going around together but still) or lastly maybe you could be a goblin so for both sides there is a party of three including the main character. You could include some of the racism between the orcs and goblins which would be interesting. Anyway just some quick ideas, let me know what you think and I'll come up with some other ideas in the mean time? Ojox

Hello again, I've taken a brief look at MERP - it looks good, but it also looks like it will take a long time for it to be finished and if it is a few years before the war of the ring I presume that the ring-wraiths will not be in it nor saruman, also my computer is fairly bad for playing Oblivion and I fear a mod that big would crash the game. I'd be willing to try it but hell, I mean akatosh mount makes it crash so I'm really not too sure, still if I upgrade my computer any time soon it might be a possibility. At the moment I'll continue hoping that someone's going to make another smaller mod. (Also the Bree mod looks like it might be quite good but the file is yet to appear). Ojox

Hello, I'm a bit obsessed with LOTR if I'm honest, and I have most of the fitting mods that are out there but I really want some good stuff, I mean CultBraiN did some really impressive work making Sauron's armour and mace. Painkiller97's weapons of the fallen heroes are really good and UK47's impressive LOTR weapons are all good. The Bloke's UrukHai race and equipment is one of my favourites - I could go on listing a few more, but I really want someone to make something like saruman's tower and a quest because the original oblivion quests are pretty lame after you complete them about ten times. I just want someone to make a really good new LOTR mod. You see I suck at modding, for a couple of months now I've been attempting to make mods to no good end. I respect that people might not have the time to do something like this or might not be bothered, but if anyone could that'd be awesome. Ojox
