  1. ROFLOL! Bethesda saying they've checked/curated/made sure "it just works" means less than nothing because.....Bethesda. This IS the same entity whose every "triple A" release has required extensive fixes from the modding community for the base game itself to "just work" So yeah, don't mind me LMAO over here.

    Irony. It's what's for breakfast....

Smells like Pete Hines flunky to me....

  2.

Personally, just set steam to be "offline" and it will stay that way untill I have assurances that the "CC" will neither bork up my SKSE install, nor junk up my drive with content I do not want, and did not ask to have "force installed"

Yet another "win" for Bethesda. As Sterling put it "Bethetic"

Not sure if the Creation Club will extend to Skyrim LE. Consoles only run the SE version.

As to how the non-existent SKSE64 would be affected is that it would need to be updated everytime a new Creation Club roll out is downloaded. The Nexus for Skyrim SE is already full of little microtransaction items, so the market will really be for console users who make up the vast majority of players. Bethesda will just need to make these swords and armor pieces bright and shiny enough for the young console players to pester their parents into ordering sufficient credits to purchase these items.

"Not sure" That sums the whole Bethesda bit up in a nutshell. I'm "not sure" at this point if they're not sniffing under the skirt of Oldrim to see if they may have missed some coin, and don't give a good God D$@& about screwing my carefully modded install. Since I can't trust this company, I'll just keep Steam offlne. Thanks.

  3. To avoid the asymmetrical left eye eyeliner blob (once seen cannot be unseen) you need the ECE headmesh. That's the only file needed from the ECE mod. The bethesda headmesh is not symmetrical, thus these textures when overlaid on it in game produce an area on the upper left eyelid that is not correctly rendered resulting in the appearance of extra heavy eyeliner - only on the left side.
  4. Greetings to all! I can not find the mod on the necklace on these screenshots. I ask for help.

It's a piece Seren made for his PC. Afaik - he's never released it publicly. There was a version in a ZZJay release of an armor called "Katerina" - but it was available on LL, and was pulled ages ago.

  5. Well, for FD and myself it started with the 3 series updates to RM? I dunno, it's completely above my paygrade, but yeah, some eye shapes are better than others, but it is somewhat limiting. Plus time consuming for the foreseeable future. I think Expired is pretty much looking for the SKSE64 and upgrading the program to new Skyrim, and yeah, can't imagine how heavy the upkeep is on the regular one!
  6. Yep. FastesDogInTheDistrict and I noticed this too. Once seen it can't be unseen. It doesn't pop up on every new character for me, but thus far my only solution has been to use the sculpt feature and meticulously move vertices into shape. I know FastestDog PM'd Expired, but I don't think he got an answer?

Hi, I am looking for a dress I saw in a screenshot. I hope someone can help me:

It's called SC Noble Dresses but it has sadly been hidden by the author.

Edit: Oh, and I think the cape is from here

Thanks for your reply. Too bad the dress is hidden

Which outfit is this? I'm sure I've seen it before, but this odd angle is throwing me off.

Willing to bet with Gamwich's rustic textures for clothing

  8. Thanks for ignoring my post a few pages back.

When you donate to a mod author because you like their mod, something I get continual pop ups for when ever I come to this site, they will see your REAL NAME AND ADDRESS.

Please include a warning somewhere I'm sure I'm not the only one who is disturbed by this.

    Wow. Good to know.

  9. OK, guys. At some point I found a mod that allowed you to match different pieces of armor. I mean you can for exaple use a thief armor top with the skirt of the imperial armor and have steel pauldron on one shoulder and a leather one on the other. I think you could even change the underwear. You had to pick an "armor mask" which changed the body shape and gave the stats and eveything else went on top of it. Any idea what that mod is called? I can't find it anywhere.

It sounds like "Hmmm...What to Wear..." From Nightasy. He recently pulled everything to his own blog http://nightasymodding.weebly.com/skyrim-mods.html

if your really upset then the best way to solve the problem is to make stuff.

Exactly. That's how modders became modders. We wanted it so we made it.

I'm currently porting one of my Oblivion clothing/armor mods to Skyrim and I'm not doing it because anyone asked for it, I'm doing it because I wanted it. After 3 years of basically sitting out Skyrim modding I finally decided to click the Blender icon on my desktop.

and yes there is a male equivalent version.

Will you be releasing these on Nexus? One of my faves from Oblivion!

I would like to release them, it's just a matter of finding the time to finish it up. I don't have a lot of time for modding and lately most of it has been taken up by my Navatar for Skyrim mod. I stopped work on the clothing when I started work on Navatar. I should probably give Navatar a break for a couple of weeks and go back and finish the Akaviri Silk and Leather.

LOL! Good to know I'm not the only one with a bunch of..."might finish/will finish/will just look at these files for a while and prolly never finish" stuff on their drive! In all seriousness - I totally understand - but I'd love to see that set in Skyrim!

  12. I keep seeing them pop up all over the place in peoples screenshots, but have never been able to track them down for the life of me. If any of you folks here would happen to know what mod I can find any of the following necklaces in I'd be very appreciative!

Necklace one. (Talos amulet, not the Tsun-choker-thingy.)

    Necklace two.

Necklace three. (Same amulet as the second necklace, but with a different chain.)

Talos amulet (Eldrid's Armor) is here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48652/?

The second is from a Katarina Armor mod mashup/orig on another site and is no longer available

No - just realistic in appraising the skill set, people skills and entrepreneurial outlook you'd bring to the job, I think you'd have the potential to really move things forward here.
