Thank you!!! This helped solve my CTD when near any living NPC!!! I think "To Your Face - Sensible Commenting" mod isn't compatible with Skyrim SE version 2.08? Disabling this mod solved the problem, fixed the bug, restored my sanity!!! :smile: UPDATE Aug 7th: Just checking back in to say removing this mod didn't actually solve the problem for me. I'm still having pretty consistent CTD's when NPCs get too close to/bump my character with the mod uninstalled, at least with previously saved games. I haven't tried a new game without the mod yet.

Thank you Meancharger for posting this! I was just trying to figure out if the issue was affecting others. When you get it working again, I'd love to hear about it - I feel like I had to do something involving file renaming to get SKSE working right with Skyrim SE the last time this happened but I can't remember what. Again, thank you for posting!
