  1. Is there anything in the works for a Nexus Forums android app?
  2. Thank you very much. Hopefully I can start to understand.
  3. I've decided to try my hand at modding again, and I've got a few ideas that I think would be pretty well received, but I have no idea where to start. I want to completely disassemble the perk trees and redefine the perks system entirely from ground up in my own way. I'm seeing a lot of really good perk mods but they tend to conflict or they're just ugly. The thing is I have not a clue what I'm doing and could use a nudge in the appropriate direction. Another idea I have is to make the world and the way the player interacts with it a bit more linear. I realize that defeats the whole purpose of the great lengths Bethesda and modders go to to create an open world, but I loved old RPGs like the original Final Fantasy and I miss the way it played. For instance, I find it difficult to progress in equipment and item quality as I progress in level and questline. I find one badass weapon stashed in a chest or on a bandit, or I smith one myself and I'm going to be holding on to it for God knows how long. One way to control the acquisition of equipment would be making only items and coin lootable. Maybe even restructuring the loot geologically based on a relatively concrete path laid out for the player or based on a radius of the start point with higher level enemies the further you travel in any direction. The end outcome would be a similar to what Nehrim gave, but not as in depth by any means. Just some tweaks here and there. Let me know if you think I'm in way over my head or if I'm just being entirely unrealistic. I've got a ton of ideas but I don't know have a clue where to begin, and it's so frustrating I alreadyw ant to quit trying to figure it out. Again. Thank you in advance for any response.
  4. How can I get my hands on that daedric armor?
  5. Is there no way to simply make the default skin color grey or black? That would take forever, changing every Dark Elf NPC's skin tone.
  6. I'm trying to do something that I would think should be relatively simple, but so far I've made no progress. I simply want to change the Dunmer from being greenish/blue to being ashen black. I think dark elves look pretty slick with blackish skin. I thought it would've been as simple as removing the hue from a skin layout, but I can't find one and I'm starting to realize I may not be on the right track. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've been scouring the textures folder with Nvidia DDS viewer and BSAopt x64 and have found nothing I would think could be it.
  7. I've been wanting to create an uber bad-ass hero, a towering monument of manliness and raw strength, cut from the same mold of Odysseus, Beowulf, and the like. I've got Apachii Hero Store, and that's all jolly good. I've downloaded and tried Ser Knight, but all the NPCs walk around looking all heroic (which they are not, believe me). I've even installed MAO and it doesn't stop them from puffing their chests out and putting a falsified heroic fist on their puny hips. All the other animation replacers are for pretty boy vampire/emo anime-ninja characters with trench-coats and spiky hair. I want rippling muscles, epic man-beards, earth shattering footsteps, piercing glances, and labored hammer hurlings. Does anyone know either how to make Ser Knight function properly or (preferably) a better heroic animation replacer? And anything else you might think will be up my alley :) Thank you in advance for any responses!
  8. I digress. I just read the description. No guns :(
  9. Yeah, I don't have the legal version myself, but there is a picture posted on it that shows a woman holding A pistol, so I dunno if it has both or not. Check it out. Devil May Cry Combat v2 Legal Version
  10. I found the necklace and a top that's similar but has a vest, sleeves, and some other crap I don't particularly care for. I really want the top and the chainmail skirt, if anyone recognizes it. Thank you :)
  11. Im not sure about the clothes the woman is wearing. =/ Thanks a lot :) I'm primarily interested in what the woman's wearing though. It's kind of a sweet barbarian getup.
  12. Can some one please tell me the mod that the armors in this picture come from? I've been looking for days...
  13. That's good to hear. It completely makes sense, but I still had to hear it from someone else lol Thank you.
  14. I have hundreds of mods installed, and I probably don't have to explain what a long and treacherous chore it has been making them cohesive. Now I'm looking for larger, more meaningful mods like Elsweyr Anequina. I'm finding that the ones worth downloading require Shivering Isles to be installed and patched. I'm afraid of what may happen to my game. Will all or any of my other mods cease to work or even cause the game to crash? I'm not prepared to deal with that headache again, so if I'm holding a loaded gun here, please let me know before something bad happens.
  15. Thank you all for your responses. I have OBSE installed and yes it does work without a problem. And I highly recommend Nehrim if you haven't played it, it's phenomenal if you can manage to see the subtitles clearly lol I didn't know the Nehrim forums existed, but I'll definitely check them for instruction.
