  1. Thanks Dennis! Looks like the SSME patch really did the trick, everything's loading up just fine now! Also turned off autosaving and removed all of my quicksave and autosave files, and I actually noticed that the game runs a bit smoother because of it! Thanks for the advice on that! Finally, I threw in the ENB patch so hopefully ill see some benefit from that as well! My problem's pretty much been solved but to answer your question, yes I have tweaked with the Skyrim.ini file. I set the uGrid value to 7 grids instead of the default 5 but that was a while ago before I started having save problems and I just did it for the quality of my distant rendering. Thanks also for the tip on the syncing question! I'm an IT guy so definitely the first thing I tried for that was looking into potential local issues (I defrag and do manual registry cleanups regularly) but it looks like I'm still having some issues with that. My ISP's been a little sluggish lately though, so that my be the cause, hopefully it will work itself out! Thank you so much for the help!
  2. So recently I've been having trouble with skyrim saves, about a week ago it would CTD whenever I tried to load a quickasave, but I fixed that by loading a previous save and making new quicksaves after that. This worked for a while but as of late the game can't load quicksaves at all. Whenever I select Continue or try to load a quicksave, I'll get to the loading screen and from there it'll either completely freeze after one of the game tips, or it will keep running but my game will never load and I'm perpetually stuck in the loading screen; either way, I have to ctrl+alt+delete to get out, and the game shows up as not responding in the task manager, then when I end the game Steam will tell me that Skyrim is syncing even though it never gets past 0% and I have to restart Steam. Anyways, I know my save isn't corrupt or anything because it works perfectly fine when I load autosaves or hardsaves, It only crashes when I try to load quicksaves. If it helps I'm using 44 Steam workshop mods and 3 Nexus mods. Thanks a bunch! P.S.: On what I think is an unrelated note, when Skyrim is legitimately syncing after a session, it has been taking an unusually long time and will only go up in short percentages at a time with a 0Kb/s download speed, any thoughts on this too?
