How large is your screen going to be and how much memory does the GPU have? You could probably save on the GPU by getting the 760ti since it's very similar, just has less cores.

I quickly learned that if I start playing after fixing the game, I don't stop till 7am. That didn't work out so well.

Some nights I'll spend 4 hours making sure my mods all work then I'll realize it's late and go to sleep instead of playing the game.

Using caching is much less clunky too, my friend has problems quite often with his SSD boot drive being clogged whereas mine is cached so I don't have to decide where to put everything.

That's really cool, I might try a bow and dagger only character too soon. I'm not into the permadeath thing though, why did you decide to only save at the end of each play session if you're going to play permadeath?

Have you tried to complete the game as a pacifist? (except places where you're forced to kill to advance the questline)

My only problem was that there was a norn player with their height set to full who insisted on farming the event. Noboddy could see where they were going. It was pretty fun in the attempts that he wasn't there.

I just completed the jump puzzle in the Haloween event, don't attemt it unless you have 8 hours free and like torturing yourself with sandpaper. It's ridiculously difficult.

A friend of mine borrowed my PC to play another MMO (he played overnight) and then I used it to play GW2 right after he finished. The screen froze so I had to reset the PC. Booted into BIOS and the screen went insane with symbols, can't enter Windows eversince. Haven't opened the case since then (makes me kinda sad just thinking about it), but I'm guessing either the processor, motherboard or graphics card went kaput. You should check that your GPU fan starts when your computer does, it could be that the GPU overheated and now it's having a QQ about something like that. Also, check everything is seated propperly.

Working fine for me and I have a dynamic one as well. I know that I had some problems with that though, can't remember how I fixed em. Sorry. If you tell it to remember your IP it's fine as long as you leave your router on, isn't it? I should have done that. And I added iHuntShivans to the guild Jager. I told him to come on here and ask but he never did. I sent you a mail in the game about it. I think the only times he posted were in The Last Poster Wins. And that was a while ago. Okay, thanks for telling me. If someone asks to join on this thread, I don't mind you guys adding them either. I think I need to promote someone on Sea of Sorrows to officer but I can't ever remember which usernames corespond to who on the game. :P

i dont think so? personal update; slowly chugging away. up to level 31 Human Thief. got the Asura and Sylvari home worlds complete. going back to my homeland to do some more story line quests (now that im 10 levels ahead of them) as well as some home world exploration. its going slow because i usually only have time for an hour or so, enough to get my daily achievements, which usually nets me about a level or so. except today, i was able to play a little long and get about 2 and a half levels. probably would have been more because a few World Events i did, didnt give me the reward when i completed them, which i think might have had something to do with the fact i died right as they were being completed and being teleported back made it so i didnt get the victory? idk. ive died before during WEs and still gotten the reward. hell ive gotten rewards never even participating. but these 2 or 3 today i was apart of for the whole of them, and there were pretty decent WEs, taking up some time and multiple people to complete, and i didnt get the rewards, so that was probably another half a level in XP i was robbed of lol. but anyways, still heavily enjoying my Thief. next time im on gunna work on my crafting some more :D I might try theif soon, I haven't had much experience with classes other than elementalist. I really hate thief characters in sPvP, they're really annoying when you're playing an AoE elementalist.

Those are login attempts from hackers who may have other passwords from other accounts on other games that they're trying on this one because of the common email address. You should report this to ArenaNet, it's important that they know so they can stop those scumbags. Don't worry, unless they get your email account AND your game account password, you're pretty safe. I'm thinking they've got the email address from some spammers and are just trying random email accounts, I would change the email account I use to one purely for this but I can't find an option to do. I actually have an email account dedicated to Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. :P It's helpful because I know that I should only get ArenaNet mail on that one.
