  1. Considering the GECK probably won't be released until April, I can't really do that at the moment, now can I? Thanks for the vote of confidence, it's any wonder creativity can sprout with attitudes like that. FO4Edit is just as useful to make mods as GECK. You can learn to make stuff fairly easy, and then you'll want to continue learning once you start understanding. Thank you for the info, I didn't know FO4Edit existed. I've played around with the Source engine and mapping with Hammer before, so it's not too foreign. It just seems like things are a little unstable with new patches breaking pre-GECK mods, or is that always the case when a new update is released? I guess the reason I even posted here in the first place is that I wanted to see if this thread was active still. The other reason is that I know someone far more capable than I can quickly develop an idea, and probably execute the final product with more precision than someone like me, who is a total n00b at modding Fallout.

  3. I like this idea and think it will add a bit of uniqueness to the game that the upcoming DLC may not address. Hopefully you guys keep up on it, I'd install this mod. The blank holotape idea is pretty neat too. Just thinking about how you could expand on it to weave into the game and not just be a novelty. Maybe you could add an NPC who pays caps for terminal data, like how you could sell mapping data to Reilly in FO3.
  4. Is this list actively being updated elsewhere? There are so many replies now and the last edit to the op was in November. I've got a big list of things I'd love to see created, understanding the GECK isn't out yet, and not seeing them in the first/last few pages. Just been taking notes as I play and trying to address a few of the quirks.

  6. I was having this issue with weight increase mods. I eventually had to go back to dump all my stuff into a container before starting the cutscene, except for a few essentials (non-modded items seemed to work best). I was then able to get to Raven Rock and collect the rest of my things after I was done there.
  7. Hey guys, I've run into an issue where I can't finish the game. I've got a few mods installed and have tried a little troubleshooting, turning some off and trying again, but nothing is working. The end of game summary plays fine, but the moment the credits are supposed to roll I get a crash. I don't even see any credits on screen when this happens, it just cycles the background slides over and over. I put the game in windowed mode to see what was going on, and have a close program window come up the moment the credits are supposed to roll.
