  1. Just to scream into the unlistening void- I uninstalled about 700 of my 1000 mods and was able to finally coc from the Main Menu successfully. Time to start reinstalling. Whichever mod did this:
  2. I have a game-breaking bug in my installation. Whenever I enter Warmaiden's the game freezes. Not crashes. Just freezes with audio. It loads the room and object and sometimes an NPC dialogue line even plays. But it always immediately freezes with continuous ambient audio. I got a similar freeze from memory issues in Riften, but that shouldn't be happening in a tiny cell like Warmaiden's. Not sure what it is, but I have disabled most things that modify weapons or their models. I've disabled SMIM and clutter mods. I've disabled WACCF and ACE, and a million patches. I've disabled Sound Mods. I spawned Ulfberth in qasmoke, so it's not his AI. Something in that place is breaking my game. I'm guessing it's an object or some weird weapon/armor placed there or added to the merchant list. But again, his AI was fine when spawned elsewhere. I'm disabling Embers XD now to keep investigating. Posting here in desperation if anyone wants to throw me an idea or has had a similar issue. Does anyone know of a sort of "crash logger for graphics" in SSE?
  3. Certain deployment methods will require Vortex to run with Admin rights. You should identify the relevant one for your game, and see if it needs it.
  4. Vortex's interface and functionality has barely changed in years. Just gotten more efficient and supports more mods now. Hate to break it to you but Vortex is still the simplest one to use by a long shot.
  5. Thanks for all your work on this amazing tool. I enjoy the highlighting function to visually tag mods with colors and icons, however, I often wish there were more practical (or sometimes more specific) icons like a gear symbol, an outfit/shirt, or different weapons. I looked around in the application folder to see if I could mess with it, but everything is packaged. Would it be possible to change Vortex's usage of those icons, to pull from loose files? This way we could make custom .gifs or .pngs to take their place. Cheers!
