  1. Well, can't seem to upload the file here for some reason, https://paste.ee/p/3FLfp
  2. It's not just crafting after further playing, anything that starts an animation that disables normal controls causes the crash, like mining, quest animations, etc. As usual, restarting allows the game to run normally, but doesn't explain the crash.
  3. Randomly the game will freeze when activating a crafting table. Music still plays, game is running, but CPU and RAM use goes down to nothing, have to alt tab to task manager to close game. LOOT shows no errors, bashed patch is made, FNIS run, etc. As soon as I restart the game, everything works fine, until it randomly happens again at another crafting station. Since it's not reproduce-able after loading a game, I can't tell what could be causing it from load order. https://modwat.ch/u/drgnkpx/plugins
  4. You might change the following in your SkyrimPrefs.ini: That might reset your renderer to the proper device. If it does not, delete SkyrimPrefs.ini and backup load order, then use SkyrimLauncher.exe to redo the Video tuner and select the proper device. If you are using ENB, there's more steps to enforce the device usage. Yeah, I do use ENB, but only for Enboost since my computer isn't that great running enbs (sucks, but what are you gonna do). Did what you said, and ENB still picks Intel. Again though, it doesn't make a big difference which ever one it picks.
  5. Hello lovely people! You've guys have helped me a good number of times in the past, and now I have a new problem that hopefully someone can help me solve. So, first off, I'm obviously a super genius for running right around 100 mods in Skyrim. But, doing this has at least taught me how to fix most mod conflicts, crashes, etc etc. But, of course, I wouldn't be here if I could figure this out. _______________________________ Specs _______________________________ Processor: Intel® Core i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80GHz RAM: 16G OS: Windows 8.1 64bit OS Graphics: Intel HD graphics 4600 & Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M Brand: CyberPower PC Fangbook (Was originally Windows 7) (For some reason, Skyrim only detects Intel, maybe it's better, or some other issue. It's only detected Nvidia one time, and to be honest, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference which one is selected) _______________________________ Loot List of Mods _______________________________ This is a direct port of what Loot tells me. You may notice the fact that I have no errors, and all mods are cleaned like they're supposed to I know it's messy, but I'm sure someone out there can see what's up. _______________________________ Story _______________________________ So! Here's basically the juicy bit! Where I tell you what's happening in Bethesda's crock pot of glitches, er, I mean, Skyrim. Anyway, so basically I have Live Another Life installed. And, I was going through the game as normal. Started in Solitude, did things, eventually ended up near Helgen. So, I figured I should get the quest finished up. I did, and I was near Riverwood, then Whiterun. So, I decided to get a little ahead on the main quest line while I was in the area. Here's where things get fun (sarcasm hopefully obvious). I clear out Bleak Falls Barrow as normal, and gives some shiz to my two other followers as well as Barbas (the dog from A Daedra's Best Friend). I head back to Whiterun, where i encounter a rather large issue. Upon entering the town, I autosave, and then immediately crash. And, I'm not talking a ctd. I mean, I have to sign out because i can't even tab out of the program. Reminded me of crashes on the console version. But, music was still playing as normal. (Btw, sorry for the random black background behind the text. Copying and pasting Barbas apparently did it, but I don't feel like typing everything again, so enjoy!). The first thing I figured it was was my autosave manager. Again, having over 100 mods tends to cause some random crashes, so that mod is the best at saving me time. Anyway, I shut it off, went back into the game, and the same thing happened. So.. can't go into Whiterun anymore. The next thing I figured it was was the quest I was doing. So, why not get it over with and make everything back to normal? I coc'd to Dragonsreach, gave the heavy ass rock back to the mage, and our conversation gets interrupted as normal. After Irenith (probably wrong, but it's the dark elf women... sure someone remembers) tells the mage he needs to be serious, they stop talking, and moving. I talk to Irenith, she tells me to see Balgruff, I go up the stairs, and the game crashes. Same style as before. I try again, and don't even get to the mage before it crashes. I figure it has something to do with bad scripts, so, I attempt to use a save game cleaner that cleans out orphan scripts and other things that bloat one's save (Can be found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? ) . But, to no avail, as the game crashes again before i get to talk to the Jarl. Usually, things like this don't happen when I'm lv 10 and don't have many quests under my belt. If you must know, my followers are Anum-La the Swamp Knight (From Interesting NPCs) and Derkeethus, that one Argonian who runs away if you try and marry him in the vanilla game (which, I'm so glad they fixed in PC Skyrim.. that shiz was annoying on console..). Uhm, yeah.. I wanna say that's all the info you guys should need. I guess a mod that might be causing issues is the Amazing Follower Tweaks, which makes it so two followers are possible. But, you guys will say so or not. I have faith (cause I literally have no idea what's causing this. So, It's all i have to rely on)! And, hope you guys enjoy the puzzle that I'm throwing at you!
  6. To be perfectly honest, all I did was follow the guide to the T. I usually never mess with "beauty" mods because it usually just means bigger boobs and more sexualization. But when downloading everything, I figured downloading them would make them look more like they do in Skyrim I guess. Sadly, most of the mods I downloaded I did so manuely. So, getting rid of them would be a pain. However, if you suspect it'd make the game playable, I'd be all for it. Just to clarify, you're saying to get rid of Ren's Beauty and... whatever Bp22-RM is? And then just put Beautiful People?
  7. My Loot List Needless to say, it'd be great if i could have eyes back on my characters! Any ideas Computer Specs
  8. Also, you shouldn't install Oblivion in the default directory (programs x86) because Oblivion can't pull up files stored in that location (again, because of the 64 bit os. And this is just off of windows forums, im not a tech expert). I just create a new folder in the C drive called games and put all games there.
  9. I've read on multiple windows forums that Oblivion isnt meant to run on anything above Windows XP just because that's what the game was made for. People sometimes get immediate crashes and the fix is just to configure the compatibility setting on Oblivion.exe. However, I believe that my problem was just that a mod was messing with the Oblivion.ini, and has nothing to do with the OS
  10. My problem was that I was running on Windows 7 Home Premium (least that's why it was still crashing when I installed Vanilla again). I fixed it by deleting the Oblivion.ini So, now I'm installing mods one at a time and seeing if anything bad happens
  11. Already fixed the illumination mod (since LOOT said it was a problem). I'll check all weather later today
  12. http://d3819ii77zvwic.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/hell-no.gif All joking aside though, the game won't even go to the title screen. I'm used to this with Bethesda games, but LOOT is telling me everything's all good. Something also to note, in order for All Natural to even install I had to make a Wyre Bash patch. One more thing, even running the game in vanilla causes the game to crash before the title screen now. Computer Specs OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) RAM: 16G Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 Processor: i7 core LOOT LOG
  13. After a lot of research I figured out that it was a mod conflict (which I figured since Vanilla Skyrim was fine) It was between Scenic Carriages and the Unofficial HearthFire Patch. I'm really relieved that the fix was just updating an esp. Thanks for your advice, Valkasha
  14. So, what would be the best way to avoid the cell without breaking immersion. If there isn't a fix for the cell, then that means I can't follow the road, buy the house, and I would literally have to be cautious just to not break the game. I understand that it's mostly because you're crossing like 4 borders in that cell, but why does that break the game?
  15. So, when I get to the cell it crashes also. I don't have any mods that deal with specific cities, and I don't even own the property in the new save! It would be nice for the game to tell me why the cell is corrupted.
  16. That would really be depressing since it's the file I played ever since the game came out :/ I'll see if I can get it to reset somehow, but I haven't gotten to look at it via a new save file
  17. Specs Manufacturer: CyberPowerPC OS: Windows 7 Home Premium Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80Hz 2.80 GHz RAM: 16G System Type: 64-bit Operating System Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M (Driver Version being 340.52) Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the problem. A little while I posted a topic containing my problem of Skyrim crashing every time I went out of Riverwood, and to where the wolves attack (next to the Guardian Stones). Turns out that that was a memory allocation problem. But now, I'm crashing for a seemingly different reason. Long story, short, I can't get to my own house. Going down the path from Riverwood and reaching the Eastern most point of the lake with which the house resides in front of, results in a crash. The only reason I've decided to post a topic about this is because at the last crash, Skyrim finally gave me something that I could work off of, an error message. Failed to initialize renderer, Unknown error creating the renderer. From this message I think there's a problem not just with the house, but the whole cell. However, being the vague Skyrim I know, the message itself says it's unknown what happened. So, I'm hoping to get some feed back, because when I searched this error message on Google, I only got tutorials on how to fix it when Skyrim won't even load. But, that isn't the case for me. Skyrim does load, I just can't get to said cell. MY LOOT LOG
  18. So, I started a new save. To see if it really was just a bad cell. It seemed that was the case since I went around to get to Falkreath. But soon after I started the new game, I experienced sporadic CTDs. There's one thing that links these though... well maybe. One happened upon entering a building (entered, autosaved, CTD. But I still retained the save), one other happened upon opening the map, and the last was upon trying to get to my items. The similarity is mostly the last two, in which case I'm opening a new menu or GUI. Any regards in fixing these wonderful (sarcastic) CTDs would be amazing, thank you.
  19. Yes, it as you said, right when the wolves are supposed to attack. I went back to the save, and got passed the point of the usual CTD. After hearing the wolves howl, I supposed that I should take care of them as to not have an annoyance on my back. I got off Shadowmere, and CTD. I'll try a few more times, with varying paths to see if it's just that area.
  20. Right when you posted that I was updating my LOOT list (since I noticed it asking for TES5Edit). There's no dirty mods now, and I'm going to test the save again. Should only take a few seconds to test (I saved right before I got to where it crashed). Thank you for your suggestion.
  21. I have tried starting a new game, but because the game CTD after I used Alt-Tab, I stopped playing for the day (since it was the sixth time it's happened). Before I made this thread, I did read up on the Asking for help thread, but my apologies for forgetting the detail. I have used both BOSS and LOOT when organizing mods, and both give me no errors when I use them. So, I do not believe that it's because of mod conflicts that this is happening. I will be trying a new game later today, but I would like to find a way to save my well... save.
  22. Alright, so explaining my problem might take a bit of reading. So, I thank you for doing so in advance. First, I started playing Skyrim on a console when it first came out. Since then, I've gotten a computer that can handle Skyrim quite nicely. It's a Windows 7 Home Premium, with the manufacturer being CyberPowerPC. Rest of the Specs Processor: Intel® Core i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80Hz 2.80 GHz RAM: 16G System Type: 64-bit Operating System Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M (Driver Version being 340.52) So, naturally I wanted to get my save over to my PC. In short, I did just that with no problems. I then discovered mods, and soon began installing them by the boat load. Now, I only have like 99 or so. So, it isn't as much as some people, but you get the jist. Eventually, I killed my save because the game CTD when I tried to save, even with vanilla. I looked up solutions, and basically I learned that I had to re-install Skyrim completely. Again, I did just that, with no problems. Lucky for me, I copied my save from the Xbox, so it was still there for me to transfer over to the PC once again. So, now we're at today. I started up the save file after re-installing all of the mods i previously had. I then got Immersive Armors and Weapons. I then decided to start up Helgen Reborn again. This involved traveling to Whiterun, and then going to Falkreath. This is where my problem is. After traveling through Riverwood, I keep going down the road, and then I crash. The same spot, every time. However this doesn't mean that the CTD isn't random, because before that I CTD twice on my way to Riverwood. What's different is that I can't get past this one just by reloading the save, or configuring the skyrimprefs.ini or anything to that effect. My LOOT Log file is attached. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I love giving Skyrim the benefit of the doubt when it comes to fixing these things, and I still would love to play the game, but because of these CTDs, I might have to stop.
