  1. How far am I allowed to go back in time with my memories? I am pretty sure almost nobody knows this one but this is where I learnt to mistrust anything which has the word "super" in its name. The game I mean is called "Super Hydlide". Back in 1990 it promised to have many new features inside this "huge rpg" like a morality system, different characters to play, a night and day cycle and so on, yes this was new at this time, but in fact I remember that at the end I smashed the game cartridge (it was for Sega Genesis) because of the really bad overall balance of almost everything, i.e. carry weight was like pick up an extra orb and your moving speed became slower than a snail, just as an exampel. Although almost 30 years ago it still makes me shudder.
  2. Phrenology isn't this where people put their brains into jars and keep them in the fridge? Or at least the brains of other people? And the best thing to say about astrology well it is an ecomomic factor! So it gets us paid jobs, you know, all the tarot cards have to be printed somewhere, and crystal balls come from high tech industry. Or am I mixing this up with esoteric stuff? Anyway well if this was an honest question, my honest answer would be astrology has no meaning for me. Oh, and my zodiac sign is taurus.
  3. Greetings from Germany. I've been wandering around this site since 2014 and I think it is time now to say hello. Hello. The book of my life is already 51 years thick and it can not be purchased at book stores since it neither has been printed nor issued as an ebook and I own the special edition which consists of exactly one autographed copy. I like this site because of YOU who just reads this so you most likely belong to the 99,3% of the very nice and friendly people of this community. I also like the other 0,7% but not so much as you right now. I like this site as a whole since it offers so many goodies as well as nearly perfect support in the main areas and good assistance in the other realms. Soon you will find a "premium" label underneath my name but not right now since payment without a credit card and also no paypal account is not possible from Germany but this wil change soon so just wait and see. I knew a world without a WWW and obviously learnt to live with it. I play games since Atari 2600 (1979), moved on to Sega Genesis (1990), about at the same time I got me my first pc, an i386SX (do you still know what "MHz" means?) and so on and so on until now where I own a quantum computer from Betelgeuse 7. Thanks for your patience and see you soon. Have a nice day.
  4. Perhaps my guess goes in the wrong direction but just a hint in case it is true: since I also use my mobile phone as a portable harddisk, if the phone is android and the pc is windows in such case a file transfer from phone to pc via usb cable is possible but you have to tell your phone that it has to serve as a data storage device during an esablished usb connection to a pc. Perhaps this is helpful...
  5. ClanRanald21 just a suggestion but perhaps it would be a good idea that you or somebody else upgrades your pc with a 64bit operating system? Since you are only 60 years old I assume that your current pc will not be the last one in your life and 64bit is likely to be the mainstream for the next decades. Windows 7 64bit would not be so far away from Vista regarding the look and feel and it is availabe at quite low prices i.e. at ebay. As far as I know at least the extended official support will also be continued until 2020. Good luck with your efforts and best wishes from me, 51 years old.
  6. In response to post #43389245. #43391895, #43394075, #43413580, #43418170, #43421690 are all replies on the same post. I am 51 now would this be far too young to join your society? Well I agree to what shizitmonkey said and I would like to add that in my opinion what Nexus provides is on a high level of professionalism anyway
  7. Is this still an actual issue? I don't know if you have data privacy limitations but if not why not try an online pdf repair tool like http://www.pdf-online.com/osa/repair.aspx Perhaps you should also try a different pdf reader for this purpose I recommend to try Sumatra PDF http://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/free-pdf-reader.html it is very small and also has a portable version
  8. I will not bother with a big sofware and hardware list because this could be quite unaccomplishable since I am a gamer since about 38 years. For me it began with an Atari 2600 back in 1978 and well since then the "golden age of gaming" made no break so far  10 years later I got a Sega Mega Drive / Sega Genesis and quite close to this time I also got my first PC which was a 386SX25 (cpu frequency 25 is 25 MHz not GHZ) and I had so much fun with these MS DOS games. After that I had a PC with an early Intel CPU named P54C with 100 MHz and Windows 95 which I still remember as the worst OS of all time but still a gem regarding classic games of this period of time. From then onwards I bought me a new PC and/or upgrades about every 5-8 years and continue gaming and I still like it. I hope this "golden age" does not end for me until I die.
  9. I have exactly the same issue with NVSE and I think I can provide believable reasons that it has to be NVSE for sure, because of following: My game runs 100% perferctly well without NVSE and also with any NVSE version up to 4 beta 1, and it runs with any mod well without crashing. But with NVSE 5.0 beta 2+3, with exactly these versions, from this moment on no items can be taken from any container. The game does not crash or else, everything looks fine, but just no items can be taken from any container. It still makes this "whoosh"-sound when I try to take something but the item(s) remain inside the container regardless of the container type. Removing NVSE 5.0 beta 2 or 2 resolves the issue. (Re)installing any version from NVSE 1.x to 4.x and playing together with up to currently about 150 mods and my game is fine again. It is not a big issue for me since I just try to avoid mods using NVSE 5 but perhaps my message helps to address the issue (I also sent an email to team @ silverlock) Still I believe the creators of NVSE did a great job so far, like almost any volunteer who make these fine tools for the games we like so much.
