how do i turn the beta off? the new search is killing me smalls

anyone also up for disabling the rando loot chests in the game? i'd rather earn my loot personally via murder like any decent tribal and lootable chests in market places seems unimmersive to me. they just let you take it? the reason to disable random chests instead of all of them is due to the non random ones containing quest items

yes, but all those museum scum all pretty killable with help from my pal setessential batch file -
I have made a mod that makes beams for lasers invisible without using dummy textures and changed the muzzle flash + light and the impact + impact sound, and also removed most recoil also made the beam repeatable(automatic by default) will also change automatic reciever to do something else, parhaps increase automatic dmg. will fix institute lasers soon too, but not sure I will do plasma since thats not really realistic to me, but I can share the method when I release so you can do it to that aswell. Just dont want to promise too much, have made alot of personal mods that I never released in the past. thx for the head ups warden, i'll take a look

altho i requires manual timing and activation, using SKK's replace any actor i've been activate super mutants a little while after I tell virgil he's safe to rejoin the inst via the subversion mod. it's just a pity skk's comments are archived so i can't ask for scavengers to be added to the replace list

so I think i've successfully done most of the brotherhood quest line before ad victoriam, then i killed a few of them, became their enemies and now I get to blow up vertibirds on occasion. it's delightful. I've still yet to go to the institute on this playthru, but based on the last couple of test games, i'm pretty sure most if not all the inst quests should function completely fine once i coc instconcourse and institutionalized auto starts. I am a touch concerned tho since I did finish tactical thinking. so long as end of the line properly registers me having killed them all there should be no hiccups

I agree everyone! HOW DARE OP request a mod in mod request... the audacity of such a thing! jezebel sux, someone should mod her out if that hasn't already been done. when i still played with the dlc i'd console disable her or unessential her and then use another mod to scrap her. oh the things i'd do to her. my fav of course was to console skip/complete/whatever the entire automatron nonsense to build robots

two specific random encounters: I'd like to enable/disable random sentry bot spawns I'd like to enable/disable random vertibird bos encounters both via console pls and thx for howto accomplish this ;)

I'd argue Fallout 4 ignores alot of our excellent fallout lore and virgil cures himself because the commonwealth's FEV strain is unique. all this is a moot point tho; I think it'd be cool to cure mutants and replace them with scavengers

I found the sweet spot of set stages to keep madison from hanging out in the prydwen and it was simpler than expected: indeed, I ended up figuring this out myself setstage BoS203 65 (banished) ORsetstage BoS203 70 (kill li)setstage BoS301 30 I'd still love a mod pro-immersion quest chains that allow independent faction progressions. currently the brotherhood is a bit of a pita to progress with zero institute interaction

I was curious from OP's post so i went in before, during and after call to arms and the before and after were the same (I had the arcjet helipad mod installed) but only during call to arms can you access the second interior of arcjet and OP would most likely like to access that without call to arms. My working hypothesis on how to make this work would be to auto start call to arms silently and/or edit danse participation out of the quest and add a quick finish upon interacting with danse while possessing the deep range transmitter or add an (optional) objective to place the deep range transmitter on top of the police station. there's probably several ways to accomplish so my suggestions with a grain of salt -
I feel like some of this could be accomplished easily with replace any actor with any actor, but it would need a conditional trigger that relies on virgil being cured now there's that mod that lets you free the synths and have some fun lore friendly institute restructuring so it would be even better if after you invite virgil back to the institute and say... idk a weeks time maybe given teleportation and advanced inst delivery methods all super mutant spawns were replaced with scavengers or wastelanders
