BLOG PIECE: Nexus development and expansion philosophy
DaChunK replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I would be very eager to to Neverwinter nights Nexus site. Still really enjoy playing them and there many mods around, just difficult to find sometimes. Cheers for all the work Dark0ne and Crew. Anzack Cookie please, they are the best!! -
Unfortunately password is not being accepted, as with others I knows it's correct.

Cheers for help. I found the section in the quest which the bug was affecting and "forced" the quest with console. So far, so good.

No quest advancing commands as yet. I have used on or 2 in the past for a bug or 2 and caused no issues. Fully updated and rest of game is playing fine. Does 'verifying the Integrity of game Cache' clear mods by chance?

Hey crew. Was wondering if anybody has a suggestion for me - I've just entered the dark brotherhood sanctuary and Astrid is there waiting for me. Yet she's on some kind of loop continously saying "remember, the sanctuary is in the southern.. blah blah" Treating it as though she's not there. I can't progress unless I talk to her but I'm unable to as pressing "E" just starts the same speech. I've look for a quest progression consoles cheat on Wiki yet cant find one to get past it and waiting, re-loading nor leaving and re-enering helps. Thanks for any answers. DaChunK

Hey guys. Any help would be appreciated. I've got everything up to date from today. Including Lattest Patch, SKSE and DragonScript etc etc. But keep getting this - "your game version is NOT supported patches:1.3.10us" when I try to load game. When I delete the "dinput8.dll" file from my Skyrim Dirrectory I can load game but obviously not with Scritp extender working... Which means I cnat use one of my favourite mods - Thu'umic shouter mod by Azuril and Psyco Hamster. I've looked through forums but cant find a sloution as not many other people seem to have this problem. I have tried 'dissabling' all other mods and using 'boss' to sort load order. Though I'm pretty sure load order is not the issue. Cheers for looking - An ALE for anyone who has any tips for me. ;-) EDIT - Finally found it after hours of tinkering and it's always the way just after a forum post ( thought I may leave it incase others might have same problem). Ended up it was an old "Skyboost.asi" that was conflicting with ScriptDragon. Also I seriously can't seem to ind a way to Delete this topic now I've started it... :-P

Hey guys, Great work on on these little improvements.. well in some cases not that little :-P Makes the game a little more enjoyable and every new mod and improvement helps. There is one I would like to see converted if it is not to much trouble and that is the Tiny Demon Suit - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24327 One of the sexier outfits I believe. Cheers and a Mug of Ale for ye all. DaChunK

Hmmm... any decent archery mods out there?
DaChunK replied to shaklee1's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
A few of the mods I use - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11415 http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10238 http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19096 http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6359 All make the archer more worth while to use and certainly improve the rogue class. Makes using a bow fun instead of like shooting chop sticks. DaChunK -
Major skills: Acrobatics (definite) Light Armor (definite) Blade (definite) Mercantile (not totally sure) Athletics Destruction Illusion Restoration and Alteration used as minors to level Willpower? EDIT: It occurs to me that Intelligence could be completely unnecessary if I go with The Apprentice sign. *** Indeed well thought out. I'd make a few changes though. Firstly I'd not have athletics or Mercantile as majors. Both as you say are unmanageable as far as levelling rate goes. Illusion is good as well as Blade, Destruction and Light Armour for your build. Acrobatics is handy but again unmanageable for maximising your levelling process. Will help you level quicker though. So that ones debatable.... Luck has no supporting skill IE: You can only raise it by 1 every time you level your character. Which makes for slow ability advancement but in my opinion it's an essential one to put a point on every time. Having that 100% weakness to magic gives me the heebie Jeebies from choosing the Apprentice class. It's ok if your not dirrectly facing mages in spell combat. Maybe a swift backstab first would lessen the weakness issue. Which brings me to my other suggestion - I'd have sneak as a Major. My especially if you use any mods that enhance rogue abilities/thief abilities and backstab damage. - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6359 Higher Agility and Sneak means more damage with your blade in this situation. Alteration may be a good choice for a butting thief. I have it on my thief character and it's very handy having shield and encumbrance spells among others. To help her cause. I love Alchemy (though it can be time consuming and a little frustrating at times) It's worth having a good knowledge of it and it will help raise your intelligence ( always a good thing :-P ) My choice would be Light Armour Blade Sneak Alchemy Illusion Destruction Alteration I'd seriously think about choosing another birth sign and then you have race considerations to take into account. I love the Atronach sigh which is hard to start with, yet with the alchemy skill you can make enough potions to replenish Magicka and that 50% spell absorption comes in very handy later on in the game. That's my 10 cents worth. Hope it helps a little. DaChunK

What Armour/clothing would this be all knowing ones?
DaChunK posted a topic in Oblivion's Discussion
http://www.witchqueensia.com/gallery/v/vicki/oblivion/3501-4000/Screenshot3928.jpg.html Cheers. DaChunK EDIT -I found it! May you always have a fresh ale and a warm woman to serve it to you. DaChunK -
Thanks Guys. Mods found... sanity still lost if anyone can help me find that??? DaChunK

Hey guys. First of all thanks to everyone who makes mods and shares. Secondly. For the life of me I cant find either of these armour/clothes mods (see attachment please) if anyone can point me in the right direction. Either one would be good as they were the ones my character used before the re-install. May your ale be cold and your woman be warm DaChunK

[ replace the dialog you removed, obviously you did something incorrectly! Turns out it wasn't the dialog at all (as I mentioned it was still all there). Don't ask me what happened, it was off for days then all of the sudden it worked! I moved load orders a little and was close to un-installing the whole game *cringe*. I'm off the mind that computers just like to stuff us around from time to time, just so we don't rely on them too much. I have no other explanation for it... :-P All works 100% and there are some great mods out there and great modders to boot. Cheers community.

Hey guys, If anyone could offer me a suggestion to fix the lack of NPC voices during dialog I'd be very grateful. They are talking fine before I enter personal dialog and then silence but lips moving, also my companions banter is silent too??? I have installed many mods (correctly i believe) and nothing I can recollect has changed I far I recall to create the problem. I'm using OBMM and have tried adjusting load order etc. All sound files are still in place for all NPC's and I want to avoid uninstalling and installing again if possible, as it takes hours and hours with the mods I like. Any simple fixes or am I missing something really obvious? Thank you in advance for any replies. DaChunK
