Okay, so I'm near Raul's Shack, and my game is crashing a lot. Like more than normal. There is a chunk of the ground where there is missing textures, and to top it off there's a group of kids with guns called "Pissy Kids" and I have no idea what they are from but The Vault has no records of them and I want 'em out of my game. Anyone know where the Pissy Kids are from, how to fix ground textures that are not loading and how to stop my game from crashing so much? I mean, I just upgraded from 3GB RAM to 8GB... so I'm kinda pissed.

Okay, for the Weather Effects Honest Hearts addon, should I turn off the old URWL one and keep the new one on? Or should I only have the HH one on for when I go into Utah?

You know, I kind of like this one. But what I'm trying to find out is, where it is located in regards to the Wasteland, and how many… places are there for you to put your stuff? I just don't want to be overwhelmed. Like, the Wolfhorn Ranch has the right amount of containers but I am bored with it. Even the suites you get in The Strip are too much for me, so does anyone know how this fares? Or this, but it seems like it is the extreme of what I want, which I don't want at all. I feel like I am either being unclear or contradicting myself. Something like this is perfect, but this is a F3 mod so it is useless to me.

Something secluded, unlike that fancy home which is located in the Khan camp. Something like the Wolfhorn Ranch, only not that haha.

Take this, for example. This is a great player home; not too outlandish, pretty lore-friendly and not entirely overwhelming. It's good. But the location of it is shitty. I'm wondering what are some good homes that have cool s*** in them, but not like the Underwater home (I don't want to be overwhelmed by too many places to put my stuff you know?) and places that aren't near the beginning of the game. Any suggestions?

Eh, I was hoping to have to go out and find them. I too have more than one of the pre-orders, as I got them from all of the places. Conveniently all of my games had the disk problem where the disk was blank so I had to use steam, and I returned all but one for my money and got to keep the DLC codes. Feelsgoodman.

Oh for the love of god, does anyone know what pre-order means? When you pre-ordered the game, you got some exclusive content that you download to use; THE CARAVAN PACK, THE MERCENARY PACK, ETC ETC ETC! I know there is other DLC but I clearly said PRE ORDER, to which no one seems to f***ing understand what that means! ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Anyways, now that I am more calm, for those of you who understand what I'm talking about, "Where is the mod that makes the pre order DLC placed in the world instead of just handing it to you?" That is not at all what I wanted. I don't want to turn the mods off but I want to get them later. I recall a mod that added the items to the game without giving them to you upfront.

Anyone want to port over the NPC Height Randomizer from F3?

Does anyone know the mod that changes the way the preorder DLC works so you do not get it right off the bat? The game becomes too easy that way and honestly I don't like carrying that s*** around that early in the game. Thanks!

Alright, I haven't been doing too much of Fallout for quite some time. That said I've fallen behind with the times here in the modding world. I'm wondering as of now what are some good mods to have? I am very aware that this is subjective but I want opinions. Just note that I do not like things that conflict with Lore (usually). For example, I do not need to fight Stormtroopers in the Mojave. However, I find the laserkatana mod that came out a few months ago to be rather nice (even though I have yet to try it, it looks pretty cool) Another mod I like was the Nevada Skys mod with the Weather Effects. Good stuff, and so was Project Nevada. That's all good stuff. So Nexus, throw at me what you will and tell me what's hot and what is not. Also any major updates to previously successful mods. Yeah, I did all of this stuff, except for get rid of my save files which might be the problem. But even so, it works fine but I can't save. I'm gonna try to start a new save and see how it works.

Yeah, I tried one of the things, Step #15 but it didn't work. I might just have to reset my data file to vanilla and then make it chocolatechip cookiedough. So I'll have to redo all of my mods, again, and trial and error until I can play the game. Though with Pokemon Black and White coming out, this will be dropping on my priority list. :whistling:
