  1. HERE IT IS!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I don't have time to ramble on and on about this at the moment, but you should be able to tell what I'm making from the video

Please leave any comments you may have, and also let me know if you have any ideas for this

(no this isn't just a 2 handed weapon with default animations)

(no this does not replace your normal 1 handed weapon animations)

(yes the spears and javelins do have unique animations :D )

    ANOTHER VIDEO!!!! :D

Actually, your default textures are stored in teh Textures.bsa. What you have in the data/textures folder are ALL overrides. if you want to bring the game back to completely vanilla/default, delete the textures, meshes, and interface folders from Data. There ya go, default Skyrim.

i do not have the Textures.bsa file D:

Edit: And i'm trying to uninstall the tropical skyrim mod

You must have a textures.bsa file or the game wouldn't run :P (at least not in any playable way) are you looking in C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data?

Also did you backup your textures and meshes folder like I said to in the instructions for tropical skyrim?

  3. Please don't bump your own threads every few hours. You need to be patient, If anyone can help you then they will reply

Also try undoing any recent changes you made to the game, that might help you find what caused the problem.

  4. Are you actualy using negative values? or did you just replace the 'to' with '-' for this post. Because player.setav speedmult -500 should result in a syntax error, and you said that the changes are confirmed when you used getav, so either you just replaced 'to' with '-' for this post, or apparently it can be replaced in the command,

  5. I created a large world space for oblivion which unfortunately was never released :( However I learnt a few lessons that I might be able to pass on :).

    1. Make lots of backups and then backup your backups, these sorts of mods can become corrupted or broken very easily, and I can guarantee that you will end up having to fall back to one of your backups at least once :\

    2. Have some practice with the region generator before you use it for your mod (It can take a lot of practice to perfect it)

    3. Don't bite of more than you can chew, When I started my Total conversion mod I was so convinced that I would be able to finish it.... I soon found out that real life gets in the way quite a lot :P. So make sure you split the project up into manageable pieces :) And get some sort of pre-alpha release out as soon as you can :). Once you get the community involved, it really sets the ball rolling.

Good luck and happy modding :)

  6. Also sometimes re-textures are the same resolution as the vanilla textures :) (with increased and sharper detail) Assuming they use the same compression as the vanilla textures, they should not have any negative effect on your game :)

  7. When I'm having issues with my game I find it best to disable mods until the problem goes away :) Although this only works if the bug is a result of a single mod and not a conflict between multiple mods.

I would suggest you make some sort of log of your activities during this process so you can revert your changes if necessary :)

    Good luck

  8. thanks for the sgtm command --- speeding up the game is exactly what i was looking for too.

great way to try out lots of different mods, speed through early stage of the game, run through quests where the NPC takes 10 years to walk down a flight of stairs, and also very good way to stress test mod setups to ensure stability.

i dont suggest using higher than sgtm 5 though --- but at 4 or 5 it definitely can be very humorous in certain situations

    have fun!

Indeed, a game time modifier higher that 3 can completely screw up the physics system. :P

Sorry I edited that for you, I have a habit of seeing the human body as art and not as something offensive this causes me to often forget that others could possibly be offended by it.

um yes I have even tryed a fresh save but that still has the problem.

    I have tryed

    - All my saves

    - Reinstalling the race

    - Reapplying the textures on all races includeing vanilla races so they all match

    - Re adding the skeleton for the hands

It's crazy like nothing I do removes the problem and the weridest thing is this wasn't like this all the time, only recently after puting on some mods that may have conflicted with the race, yet simply uninstalling and re installing hasn't changed a thing.

Could there possibly be some hidden files somewhere causeing this problem, do some mods install information outside the skyrim folder?

It sounds like you are in a bit of a pickle :P

As far as I know, no mods will install anything outside your Skyrim folder.

Also, try removing ALL your mods except for this one (make backups first) And See if it works then (it should)
