  1. Is there a way to add my ideal NPC body into Skyrim while still maintaining variety in NPC bodies, so that only some NPCs have that body? To put it differently, is there a way of adding multiple custom BodySlide presets into the game and distributing them randomly (or even formulaically) among NPCs?

  3. So I'll be undertaking my first heavily modded playthrough of Skyrim AE/SE, involving about 600 mods rather than the dozen or so I've used in the past. As I've been configuring my modlist, I've been surprised by how long it took me just to make it through the intro sequence uncorrupted. I'm aware that it depends largely on which mods are in use, but generally speaking, I wanna know what the likeliest in-game trouble spots and crash sites are. Moreover, I wanna know an efficient methodology for testing those problematic areas and junctures, because I'm really trying to pre-empt CTDs without starting my playthrough in earnest -- after all, is there anything more immersion-breaking? If someone could shed some light on these points, I'd be very grateful.
  4. Oh, my bad, this pertains to Skyrim AE. As for which NPCs, I don't have the slightest idea beyond the two that I've come across in my testing. These are seemingly random NPCs added by some mod or other (I've installed a couple hundred or so) that I can only reduce to the crippled state but not kill. No clue how many more there may be in the world. That's why I'm hoping for a blanket solution, so that I don't have to determine exactly which mods/NPCs are problematic. If they are in fact quest-crucial characters, then a mod that lets me kill any and all of them indiscriminately might be worthwhile. I only hesitate because these mods can reportedly break scripted NPC deaths, which I certainly don't want to happen.
  5. Are there any mods that override whatever it is that's preventing me from killing inconsequential NPCs? I've found a few that allow the player to kill "essentials", but that's not my issue. I just don't want any limitations on what I can do with random, generic NPCs like the nameless fisherman that I could inexplicably only maim and not murder.
  6. I made a preset for bodies, loaded into the game, and it looked good, but then I realized that the physics aren't quite what I want. As I recall, the only time I had the option of adjusting the physics was during CBBE installation. Do I need to reinstall CBBE altogether and create an entirely new preset to change the physics on my bodies, or is there an easier way of doing this?
  7. How do I do that? I'm using Mod Organizer v2.4.4
  8. I'm a beginner in the world of mods, so it's been a messy struggle for me to get this far, but I finally got the Bodyslide mod and CBBE mod to work. The last mod I wanted, however, was some sort of physics mod that would add realistic (or at least semi-realistic) physics to NPC bodies. I installed the XPMSE mod via Mod Organizer, installed the FNIS mod that's apparently necessary for it, but when I played the game, I found that all the NPCs were frozen in a T-pose. My own character's animations were broken as well. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this glitch? It seems to have something to do with the physics mod, but I feel like it could be any number of things. The linked screenshot shows everything I'm working with. Kind of looks like a mess to me.
