  1. Pretty self explanatory. Gladiator armor looks wicked, and quite fitting with the arena system from the wastleland workshop DLC. But id rather wear it and walk around with it than give it to some lowlife settler that would get torn to shreds by a deathclaw. I want to wear that armor and be in an arena fighting waves after waves of enemies, breaking their bones and ripping their organs out while wearing that armor, and i'd also love it if you went ahead and added some gladiator weapons, but that isnt really necessary. Here are some references (you can also add your spin to it, maybe make it a bit post apocalyptic-y or something): ALSO LINKS TO PICTURES I COULDNT POST BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BIG: https://twitter.com/rysegame/status/398762288045232128 http://yefumm.deviantart.com/art/gladiator-sketches-300724025 Now lets talk about other armors. Specifically animal-type armor. I mean the ones that are (for example) made out of a lion's hide and with a bear's head as a hoodie. stuff like that, ya know? You'd expect those kinds of armors would be quite common in a post apocalyptic world, ESPECIALLY fallout, since its so rich with unique wildlife. But for some reason, we barely saw some said armor. Now i dont have any specifics for anybody to create this armor, so you'll need to use your imagination for that, but you can use some inspiration from some of the armors from the game Ryse. Here are the links, and ill help you with what to do with them: http://rysesonofrome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/glott_conceptart.jpg this one's my favorite, you can create like a, radstag coat covering the shoulders and the torso, and for the bottom near the groin area, make it seem like a deathclaw hide. Also make the helmet a deathclaw's skull. You can make the whole piece white, different colors or mix and match (if you're making it in different individual pieces, like helmet, top and bottom, make it vary depending on the animal type. Like a glowing radstag top, and an alpha deathclaw bottom, stuff like that. But totally optional as this seems like it could take a lot of time) http://rysesonofrome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/barbarian_conceptart_minotaur.jpg this one isnt too complex. its just a brahmin (or a radstag). You can experiment with different coats and horn variations (deathclaw, radstag, brahmin, other horned creatures from the nuka world DLC). http://rysesonofrome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/barbarian_conceptart_heavy.jpg You can just simply make this from a yao guai, but im thinking making it from a deathclaw would look much cooler http://rysesonofrome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/barbarian_conceptart_twohanded.jpg those are just metal helmets with whatever type of horns you want to put on them. The coat could be from any animal with fur and the leather from a leathery animal, nothing too specific. you dont really need to do exactly what told you, and this doesnt have to be from Ryse, or any reference from what i just gave you, you can search for other references, i just found those to look pretty cool. I know modders rarely grant someone's wishes in here, and i dont blame them, not at all, but i REALLY wish someone could actually make this. I would've done them if i knew how to create them. There are barely any tutorials and most of them are not designed for complete newbies like myself. Please create this, or spread it around or something, there are barely any armor mods in Fallout 4, most are just vanilla armor with different colors/drawings and whatnot lol if im somehow lucky and a modder stumbles upon this and decides to actually create it, please contact me. I would be thrilled to give you more details on this and possibly more ideas (trust me, i got A LOT)
  2. Oh yeah i understand, Its just that at the moment people are stealing mods easily and even getting money from it (Huh, reminds of the paid mods problem when people bought stolen mods) so i was a bit concerned. But anyways, ive actually told a couple of relatives and friends of this mods and they LOVED it. They're not that well into the modding community so they just told me to tell them if you happen to post anything or release the mod because they are now officially fans of this mod :)
  3. Im TOTALLY ok with that. You can work at your own pace. Regarding that Bethesda BS, if you're that worried about someone stealing your mod, just make it so that you HAVE to have F4SE to use the mod, so it doesnt work when somebody downloads it on consoles.
  4. HOLY s*** THAT LOOKS UNBELIEVABLE i cant f***ing wait to stroll the wasteland with my tribal painted deathclaw with a neck chain. But one question, do you craft each body paint section individually or do you craft something like "Tribal deathclaw paint" and you just equip it on your deathclaw and most of its body is painted? Like for example, say, i only want the head painted. Not the legs, arms, jaw etc, only the head. Can i craft that individual paint? I swear i cant get enough of these screenshots, whenever you post a screenshot my hunger for more grows stronger. You don't craft anything. That would be a bit silly. Instead, the option "Apply paint" appears when you talk to your pet if you have red, yellow, or blue paint in your inventory. And if your pet is already painted and you want to get rid of the paint, just find some turpentine and then talk to them again - the option "Remove paint" will now appear instead, and you can scrub away the body paint. (So no, you can't just paint one section. Getting the deathclaw paint to work has been finicky enough as it is - especially since I need 5 different overlays to fit the 5 different deathclaw meshes. And for some bizarre reason, the Savage deathclaw skin conflicts with the Savage deathclaw paint overlay. No idea why.) Ah, i understand. Still looks incredible though! Hope you dont give up on this project because i can already sense its gonna blow up once you release it.

  6. That's kind of what I'm doing. There's a silver lining - I've added two new options. "Know any tricks?" and "Change combat style". "Know any tricks?" plays an idle animation for that creature. Some are better than others; the Deathclaw trick is pretty impressive. Nick even commented on it with "oh crap!" :D Others are....less impressive. But that's the limitation of only having the standard animations to work with. But I suppose for immersion it can be thought of as "yeah, brahmin aren't very good at doing tricks...that's okay, I love the guy anyway. Even if he is derpy." "Change combat style" allows you to set when your pet will attack and how cautious (or not) they will be in battle. Oh and here, have a pretty in-game screenshot of a painted radscorpion: http://i.imgur.com/icXySbj.jpg That looks marvelous! Just out of curiosity, are you planning on releasing a "beta" or are you just going to release the mod once you're completely done with it? because id be more than happy to try the mod and give my thoughts on it.
  7. Wow, that's a lot of ideas! Okay, first - yes, you will be able to paint your deathclaws. Deathclaws, mirelurks, radscorpions, radroaches, and stingwings can all get paint jobs. Also, addressing the armor thing: I want to make creature armor. I really do. However, the amount of effort that would be needed for such an undertaking is ENORMOUS. Discounting the bug creatures, that would be 10 brand new sets of armor that I would need to model, texture, and rig. That's an entire mod project right there. So I'm not saying "no" - again, I'd love to have Deathclaw armor, just like everyone else - it's just not going to happen in the near future. Thanks for replying! And don't be a stranger. Lurking hurts my soul. Ah, i completely understand the armor thing. But surely you can bring on some experienced modders in your project? You will finish things much quicker and with much better results, you will form a formidable modding team! But if that's also not possible, that's ok. Maybe you can create "mini" simple armor pieces? Like only a helmet to your deathclaw or back armor for mirelurks and stuff like that, instead of a full armored suit. But if that's also not possible, i wont mind. It's definitely not going to make me NOT download the mod, modders are human too and have lives. Im REALLY looking forward for this mod, it seems like the type of mod id download and never disable. And by the way, what's your progress? unless thats secretive..
  8. I was lurking through here...but once you said you wanted the lurkers to come out because you needed some ideas i could help it. Im not really sure what to give you since im assuming you're working on every creature in the game (excluding humanoids and including the Far Harbor creatures (maybe) ) but anyways, since you found a problem with the bandanas since not all creatures have visible necks, why not put the accessories on other body parts?! no not THOSE body parts you freak, here's an example: Lets say i have a mirelurk, or any crustacean for that matter, i can accessorize it by putting a bandana on its pincers since it doesnt have a neck, or a chain/watch/gloves on its pincers too. Maybe some shoes on its legs, or a monocle and a top hat! (a lil' nod to a famous Skyrim mod) and stuff like that. And since you're doing paint jobs on crustacean and bugs/insects, i cant wait to see the awesome tribal paint jobs on mirelurks (imagine a glowing paint job on a bloodrage mirelurk from Far Harbor!), or the radscorpions and possible stingwings and bloodbugs. But i really want to talk about deathclaws, since they're my favorite creatures. like with the mirelurk, id love it if you'd also add accessories to hits hands, legs, tail, horns and such. I also hope you're not only limiting the paint jobs on the crustacean and bugs/insects, id love to paint my deathclaw with a badass tribal paintjob on the horns or maybe at the center of the head, its claws, or the torse, or the sides of its body etc etc. But there's one thing, one thing i REALLY would love it if you added it, is ARMOR! It would be awesome if it raised the creature's resistance, but i wouldnt mind if it was purely cosmetic. Imagine plowing through a raider camp with your ARMORED DEATHCLAW, or armored yao guai. Reminds me of the armored trolls from the Dawngaurd DLC for Skyrim, much a billion times more badass. Anyways, i got TOO creative while writing this, hope you get what im trying to say and got some ideas out of this, cheers and good luck!
  9. Hi everyone! just in case somebody is having difficulty understanding what i want, a great example are the elephants from the mod Shadows of Dragonstar by Tom Busby ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35038/? ). But the problem is that the elephants are not in Skyrim and a just need a tiny bit of improvements on the face (bigger ears and two tusk). Im sorry if im asking too much but can any experienced modder actually tell me what difficulties they will face if they decided to create such a mod? Here are some videos:
  10. that is true, unfortunately. But i wont just sit and wait for someone to make this, the very least thing i could do is learn more about modding and make this mod myself.
  11. Like i said above, i am fully aware that there is an elephant mod but since the mod is a bit old and the modder left it (plus the elephant looks a bit odd) i think someone could create a better "elephant".
  12. I love elephants. Who doesn't? you don't? oh well, too bad. But you know what's better than elephants? Mammoths! But, in Skyrim, I've seen mammoths so much that i wanted something new. I've noticed that there are very little mammoths mods out there and I've decided to give this idea to a modder who isn't busy making his/her own mod (which is unlikely) and in hopes that they like my idea and make it (which is also unlikely but one can only hope!). My idea is to turn mammoths into elephants. Great and original idea, right? the Tropical Skyrim mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33017/?) is absolutely stunning and i personally suggest anyone to give it a try if you're sick of the old snowy skyrim and want something more tropical. The mod also changes some of Skyrim's creatures like the sabre cat which turns into a tiger and a horker into a seal and whatnot, you get the idea. But the mammoths haven't changed a bit. Which is weird because its not typical for a hairy mammoth to be sitting in the middle of a hot, sunny desert. I am aware that there is a mod that changes the mammoths to elephants but since the modder left it i think there is room for tons of improvements and changes. I am actually trying to level up my modding skills (see what i did there?) but it requires a bit of patience and I've TRIED to make a mammoth into an elephant but i always end up with complete failure and sadness. I honestly don't think this idea is hard to make, but i , unfortunately, I dont have enough skills to make such a mod and also not the time. The elephant i want in Skyrim is an African elephant. Here's how i want the elephant to look like: -Big, wide ears (obviously) -a bit of a large head or forehead -hairless, except for the tail -two tusks (this is optional) -has an African elephant's hide I'm trying my best to create this mod myself but i don't have the skills nor the time  it'll be great if someone also created WILD MAMMOTHS! since there's only ONE wild mammoth roaming around a specific location. Imagine a herd of mammoths walking all around skyrim! this plus elephant mod equals herd of elephants roaming around skyrim! I have quite the imagination.
