  1. My system specs: i7 2600k @4.6 Ghz 16 GB RAM GTX 1070 with latest Nvidia drivers Windows 10 LTSC Skyrim seems to not want to run stable for me. Both without and with mods, Skyrim crashes at random times, and sometimes persistently in the same spot. I tried starting a new game, and it crashed during the intro wagon sequence multiple times. I then managed to play past the intro wagon sequence, but the game crashed while on the way to Riften, after fighting a few wolves. As I mentioned, the game has crashed without mods, and also after starting a new game. Does anyone have an idea about what could be the problem, or of what I can do to fix it? By the way, when Vortex says that certain files are in conflict with each other and asks whether one file should be run before or after the other, does the before / after ordering of individual files have a possibility to affect stability in any way? I downloaded Script Extender from https://skse.silverlock.org/ and extracted it into the Skyrim main directory. Here's my full plugin list: 1. Skyrim.esm2. Update.esm3. Dawnguard.esm4. 2. Um, I thought I left a post here? Maybe not. I also hope such a feature will be added to Vortex. Currently, people suggest using LOOT to create a plugin list. Well, LOOT is an integrated part of Vortex, isn't it? But there's not export plugin list option in Vortex. If anyone knows a way to export a plugin list using Vortex, please let me know. Interestingly, Nexus Mod Manager has an export plugin list feature.
  3. For now it seems that Nevada Skies is the culprit, and I've been meticulous about its installation multiple times - it simply won't stop crashing the game under any circumstances. This changes little about my sentiment towards Obsidian, though: how many bug-ridden games can they release and still consider themselves worthy of even a neutral reputation? And what in the world were they thinking with Dungeon Siege 3?: it seems they never played the games and only went off the title of 'Dungeon Siege - and if they'd actually played the games, they'd know it's not a dungeon-crawler, and that series fans would not want the game soiled by being turned into a dungeon crawler. Obsidian demonstrate a serious lack of brains in their design-tact.
  4. I'm going to try this one last time - but this is ridiculous. At least 5x downloading 9.5 gb, and a lot of wasted time trying to get this game to simply stay up and running, not to mention the waste of money. Obsidian should be sued, unequivocally, for such terrible output. They aren't worthy of the privilege to continue making games.
  5. I've tried reinstalling everything 4 or more times over, and been meticulous in the install procedures. I've attached a picture of my load order, and BOSS shows that I have them ordered correctly. I'm using the latest version of SE that's not beta. The game crashes every couple of minutes. I have 16 GB of 1866 ram, a Gigabyte R9 280x, and Windows 7 Ult 64. I don't have much HDD space free on C:, less than 1 GB at the moment - I don't know if NV uses install-partition space while running. Any ideas of what's likely culprit?
  6. Thanks for that information. I'm still having crashes every short while playing, within 5 minutes of getting into the game. This is my NMM launch order, is there anything overtly wrong, with it? http://imgur.com/as8ewF5
  7. If running the game from NMM, should NVSE be used instead of FNV4GB? Will NMM detect either one?
  8. Hmm, I guess I wouldn't, unless they were patched into Steam. I'll try that, thanks.
  9. I have the UE on Steam, It crashes as the game-menu is loading after launching from the shortcut, while the legal screen is displaying. I've done a fresh install. I'm using NMM, and load order always sees this as last, and even with no other mods loaded, this still crashes on the legal screen during loadup. Is Nevada Skies no longer supported? -- edit: I checked and see that the download on NMM was updated on the 17th of February. I tried re-downloading the file, and the program still crashes on load, saying F NV has stopped working. Deactivating Nevada Skies makes the game load and play properly.
  10. Great, thanks! Been holding off playing for a couple of reasons, this being a big one of them!
  11. I have NMCs Texture Pack For New Vegas - NMCs textures NV LARGE Pack Part _ of 3 for NMM, and it's 3 files large. If I install one of the files, the other one deactivates. How do I install all three?
