  1. I'm doing a whip mod, and whenever I import it the model becomes extremely stretched. Anyone know how to help?

  3. I have no idea how I could make such a weapon; I've seen some on the Nexus but I just don't know where to start. I do know they use an enchantment but how would I make it for another weapon compilation that I'm planning to do? The compilation in question is of weapons and some armours from Steven Universe, but I cannot figure out how I'll make an animated whip similar to Amethyst's. This is the whip in question:
  4. Hey, me again; have another darned issue with NifSkope where my mesh imports UV maps are completely destroyed. I check it in other games and they don't break, making the weapon texture correctly and it looks great. Someone PLEASE help. Someone was able to help me. I was importing my .3DS after deleting the nitrishape; after just not deleting it then importing it fixed it.
  5. Well I thank you for your response, you've been the most helpful regarding this. It's a shame though, especially knowing that Bethesda even remotely cares about the modders but yet do not do much in the way of support or tool development. Hopefully something will be set up soon because I modded for oldrim and I've got a lot of stuff to add to this one, and we're stuck with the inability to do anything. I just wish I knew how the other modders are doing it for SSE.
  6. Guys, I have a question. I've been having issues myself with the meshes in NifSkope, so I thought I'd update to the latest version. Low and behold I find out the import is disabled and when I check on the main site for it they say it will be so indefinitely. What version should I use and how can I get it to work with SSE support?
  7. On top of that, is there any form of alternative to NifSkope, or at least something to help me with Special Edition? The newer version of Nif has import disabled and I'm truly stuck without somebody replying.
  8. I'm trying to make some weapon mods, and when I successfully get them in both creation kit and nifskope the texture goes all over the place. I'd like to show an image but I'm on mobile and the texture is so messed up it wouldn't demonstrate much. I'm stuck using Blender, which worked well in oldrim, and I know the mesh isn't entirely screwed cause the texture shows fine in other games and programs. Anyone have any ideas or help to share? I covered half of this in a previous post, but it was mostly an importing issue.
  9. I don't use a plugin for blender, I export as .obj or .3ds depending on the design of my models. I sadly don't have the internet or time to dl a simple trial version of 3ds (plus I don't even have a card to put into the site to even get the trial.)
  10. The issue I'm having now is that the texture isn't properly mapping. It naturally shows fine in Blender, but no matter what it won't render properly in either the Kit or Skope. I thought it may be a .dds export issue, but I'm starting to wonder if Skope is the problem.
  11. I'll try that, thank you. EDIT: Got it in the Kit using the NIF Optimizer, but the texture isn't working. What would you recommend for the export for .dds images? I use the Photoshop NVidia tools and it's very sub-par ._.
  12. Hi, I'm requesting help for an issue that I've been having with trying to get models set into Creation Kit. Whenever I try to import the .nif from nifskope into the Kit, a horrible warning comes up that I can't seem to wrap my head around. I never had this issue in Oldrim but suddenly now I can't do anything. I'm trying to make a weapon/shield/clothing set but I'm completely stuck on this. I'll most likely request help via skype, but any information I can get first would be great. I do know for a fact it actually has nothing to do with the models/textures since I studied them meticulously and even remade them from scratch twice.

  15. So I was attempting to fight some npc's when I zoomed in with my scope. The very second I did that, my game froze for half a second, and my scope went black. When I zoomed out, I maintained the black screen but could see my HUD. I can still move around, and even loading to a previous save before the issue happened will not resolve this. I had the same problem with the Night Vision Scope bug, but I was able to resolve it with a command. I cannot seem to find the same fix for this. Anyone have solutions?
