I've been writing this on and off for about 3 months now ... a little bit here and there, sometimes deleting entire portions, sometimes just writing one line. It was extremely disjointed, up until a few minutes ago ... but i decided to join it all up with "headings or titles" to give it a bit of a flow and it seems to work. Perhaps you think it sucks ... maybe you think it's great or just plain ok or whatever, nevertheless, here it is ... enjoy ... it's called EVERBREATH, I BREATH, a tale of passion. Everbreath ... I breath Child speak we think ........................................................ Gee I’d love to play in your sea garden down by The skies edge, we can hold hands as we frolic Through naked and unseen mirrors of our Inner reflections and we can dance upon the Echoes of the lunar melodies that hum And flow in the undercurrent of the midnight Breeze. Passion we dream ........................................... Love me throughout this our cosmos dream Yes love me with the fury of a thousand suns Burst my heart aflame and make me stagger Like a world shaking on its foundations Like a drunken mountain at the abyss Topple me over and throw me down Yes, burst the doors of my fortress Loot and plunder my every chamber Seize the spoil of the secret treasures Of my inner soul and shake me. I am upon wings of endless flight. my heart it cries in the throes of our crushing silence, ah we rest ......................................... The aeons flutter by on gossamer wings So gentle gentle, so pure and light Like the hands of a child in my hair Like a firefly weaving it’s brilliant display Against the satin blackness of eventime Love saturation ... heart overflowing A mother’s kiss all consuming A breeze, a breath, a kiss on the brow The hands of time move slowly by. Arise time to go ............................................... Now we stand on the brink, on the edge And the universe lays bare before our gaze And the great deep calls out our names Beckoning us to swim the stream of stars Imploring us to traverse it’s heavenly waters While overhead in numbers untold sail the faerie flocks Back to their worlds of forever, back to their paradise glades Yes we will join you, yes we will come No longer do we fear the chasm before us No longer are we bound to the earth that bare us I behold and your wings they are magnificent my love.

I reckon it must be pretty strange that as a South African, I havent had anything to say about Nelson Mandela (better known than) FW De Klerk, the man who freed him and unbanned the ANC. Well, I greatly respect and admire Nelson Mandela - the man must also be admired for his UNWILLINGNESS to stay in office and dominate the nation that imprisoned him, but he never did, he couldnt wait to be out of office. Now that is admirable beyond doubt ... truly a sign of greatness. F W De Klerk (hated by many whites here) must also be admired because he seized power while the current president at that time (P W Botha, a former army general) was ill before the National Party could raise up someone else to continue the legacy of Apartheid - seperate development. Both the centre and left-wing whites rallied to him and outnumbered the right and far right and yes believe it or not, the ultra right wing parties, and voted "YES" to release Mandela and unban the ANC. This took a great deal of courage, so yay to FW as well. If PW Botha had not become ill, South Africa might very well still be a nation divided ... and as the military power of the continent (had jointly developed the the A-Bomb with Israel - yes, Israel has nukes) would have rebuffed any attempt to repel any invader both foreign and domestic. South Africa you must remember was fiercely anti-communist and the Russians and East Germans were being captured or killed by our military and were greatly feared by all. Ghandi, though a man of peace and non-violence made a serious mistake in thinking that he could reconcile Hindu and Muslim - it's like trying to get oil and water to mix - so yes, admire him for his stand and message, but it takes a lot more to achieve true peace than just throwing away your guns and hoping that everyone is just going to kiss and hug. That's naivety, not wisdom. Unfortunately the alternative is a weapons race - thanks Bethesda for showing the way ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeHMJ_sVKT8&feature=related Oh yes, I have a dishwasher, washmachine and a number of other machines and gadgets and if those dont do the job, I do it myself, but hey if I can afford to get someone to do it for me, then that's my choice. And as for Surenas, if guys turn into puppies for her what's wrong with that ? If I was you I'd just say woof woof ... XD -
Cannot install 1.7 patch into Game of the Year
Burnagirl replied to Mudtoy's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
The second dvd is notorious for giving problems ... insert the disk and go have a cup of coffee and come back later in about 5 to 10 minutes, by that time your pc will have "seen" the disk ... this has been the solutution for me and tons of other people. Hope this helps ... cheers Here's the Official Patch 1.7 which is available on the Nexus site .... http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8216 After downloading the "Patch", go to the place you downloaded it and activate it from there ... I did this already and it worked, perhaps it'll work for you. -

Surenas - I myself vote for Princess Snow White, for she had seven guys at hand to please her. That's great, eh? Well my dear girl they are dwarves, tiny, short, little men where's the fun in that, unless of course if you meant that they were helpful in doing the dishes and washing the clothes etc. Then the thought struck me, hey, surely a dwarven female would be a better bet than her stunted counterpart but then after looking at pictures of dwarfen women I decided that that was a big no-no as well. Now maybe if they were fairies, heck yeah, Snow White and the seven fairies .... Hmmm perhaps then I could ....... this is all just hypothetical of course. -
Maharth - The only time I agree with you so far. Hah, Maharth, would you believe that I said the same thing about you when I read your post on the "who's your favourite leader ...." post before coming here .... hehehe. I agree with you Surenas when you talk of China ready to defend it's corner of the school ground but what do you make of the tremendous economic impact it will have against them should a military conflict take place between them and the US. I mean let's face it, half if not more of the worlds manufactured goods come from China and a war will most definetely mean a disruption of business, which would seriously harm them. Not only that but I'm pretty sure that the greater freedoms in business that the communists (let's not forget that they're still commies) have opened up for themselves will impact their people as well and another "Tianamen Square" uprising won't be far behind. You must remember that these "rioters" were also calling for greater economic change and democratic reform (amongst other things) and the "economic change" that has taken place will go straight out the window when the paw paw hits the fan. And the internal troubles wont be far behind, no, China cannot allow themselves the luxury of too much aggression. They have a balancing act to maintain. They dont need a lunatic N-Korea messing in their salad.

This whole episode is going to blow over, it's just a spoilt brat of a North Korea trying to get attention ... "Hey I'm still here, I'm still a player on the block" ... fire a couple of shells here and there and hope that everyone will notice - and they do because NK has "the bomb" - then it will be the normal\usual placating of the child - the flurry of diplomatic sing songs - and after the lullaby is over, everything will go back to normal. The US (and rightly so) will show it's annoyance and also it's support for the only real ally on the far eastern continent. Their presence won't go unnoticed by Beijing, and it's here that the real stand-off is taking place. A bit of flexing of the diplomatic verbal muscles here and there by the two and perhaps China will deliberately allow NK to have it's little tantrum just to see what transpires. "Let's see what America does", they might say just to test the US reslove or committment. But honestly, it isnt time yet and so China might bark a bit and show it's teeth but it wont go further than that.

crash on save,any soulitions?
Burnagirl replied to dead1966's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Ok, I had this hassle as well, and the way I went about solving it was as follows: 1) I disabled all my mods and then started up the game and tested the save, it worked, this helped me realise that it was a mod and then one by one i enabled my mods until i found the problem mod. 2) After using Fomm 13.20 (here's the new version 13.21 http://sourceforge.net/projects/fomm/ ), I followed the load order it recommended and that eliminated the freezing and the CTD's that still popped up with the conflict between other mods.. Hope this helps. -

Grace O'Malley (1530 - 1603) - Irish Queen of the Clan O' Maille, and then Pirate and finally friends with Queen Elizabeth herself. Grace and her clan turned pirate after her husband from an arranged marriage proved to be a poor leader, she took a group of men and began her pirating career off the Irish coast rather than see her people starve. And I quote " .... Through out her long life (she lived to be about 73) she not only captured ships and extorted money from others for safe passage she even met with Queen Elizabeth. No one knows what they talked about but the Queen helped Grace out tremendously by letting her family out of jail and basically making her a privateer for England.". Check out her story on wikipedia, amazing gal. -
Ok, so why not have a couple of nutcases come to your home in about 20minutes time, let them beat the living daylights out of you, your family, throw in a couple of rapes, maybe even stick you real good with bowie knife or how's about a spade against the head, then rob you blind and burn down the rest of your home. I reckon you'll sing a different tune then. You see, now it's personal, now it's you and it dont feel so good. In your economy, these criminals would walk away scott free after all they're just widdle badboys out for some fun and it's OK boys, dont worry you can go home and do it again tomowow, cause we dont wanna spend our money having to illegally punish you and traumatize you wiff a prison sentence. And dont worry about the grieving family, they most probably deserved it anyway, serves them right for living. Anyhow, this topic has run it's course for me, either you get it or you dont.

Craziest place you ever had the Firelance encounter?
Burnagirl replied to TheOriginalEvilD's topic in Fallout 3's Spoilers
Had it explode overhead at Vault 106, Super Duper Mart, The watertower above Minefield and the Flooded metro near Alexandria Arms and once at the Robot Repair Centre next to Cantebury Commons. Most coften at the water tower above Minefield. -
Check out the latest FOMM http://sourceforge.net/projects/fomm/ version 13.21 is now available (I'm currently using version 13.20 and it's awesome), the load order it recommends has stopped my CTD's and freezing, give it a try.

Well Balagor, I'm really sorry that you had such a bad experience with the very people that were supposed to uphold the law, that sucks big time my friend ... and I'm sure that such an experience leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and the fact that you had to "let it go" makes me really upset. But still the criminals need to be judged and not everyone needs to be executed just those who cross the last line line of civility by taking the lives of others. I suppose that for both you and Surenas it must be a pretty foreign concept - violent retaliation - but the world isn't the same everywhere and while European culture might have evolved into a less violent society, places like ZA and the US and a number of other nations are struggling with violent offenders of such extreme natures that the only solution is to eliminate them from our societies. This is unfortunate but a fact of life. And I mean no disrespect to either you or Surenas. Btw, I just watched that number by the Byrds it definitely does mean what I said it said ... lol.

Cleopatra without a doubt, she was rich, powerful and must have been incredibly intelligent and beautiful to have hooked both Julius Caesar and Mark Antony ... and managed to keep her kingdom independant, well for a while anyway, unfortunately she met her match in Emperor Augustus. David Ben-Gurion the first Israeli Prime Minister, the man who led Israel in victory in the "six day war" where Israel defeated a number of Arab nations single handedly. Winston Churchill, the greatest speech maker (next to Hitler) who held a vastly superior Third Reich at bay and is in my mind one of the greatest leaders who ever lived. I was also fascinated by Hitler and wondered what type of a person he was and so after purchasing "Triumph of the Will", the propaganda documentary of the third reich's 1934 Nuremburg Party Rally, and a number of other documantaries on the man I came to the conclusion that he was insanely singleminded in his dream of empire but he made the same error Napoleon did, he attacked both east and west at the same time. -
Well Surenas I never thought that I would see the day that you would shut up and turn conformist and bow your knee to big brother ... hmmmf ... what happened to your independant spirit dear girl ? I can’t quite imagine you holding hands with killers and vermin singing kumbaya while dancing around the campfire, that picture is just wrong. My dear Balagor, try thinking about the trauma the rape victim or molested child or grieving family has to go through. But I suppose that you will never really agree to that until the day it happens to one of your loved ones. Well just as the song Turn turn turn by the Byrds goes, there is a season “ ...to kill ... and a ...time to hate ... and a ... time to rend ... “ I reckon those times are when killers and their ilk dare show their faces. It’s quite unreal to me how Europe has become so wimpy in regards to criminals and now you want to spread your poison to the rest of the world. Maharth I’m with you when it comes to being absolutely certain as to whether or not the “accused” is in deed the accused, but that’s why there’s such a thing as investigation but then at least let the punishment fit the crime. Heck yes, at least let the criminal pay the same price when it comes to the matter of murder at the very least. Mentally ill people – so diagnosed by the medical profession – would be given leniency and be sent to a hospital that deal with such people. However, we have conveniently allowed criminals to slip through the justice system, here’s how; People who steal are thieves but we conveniently call them kleptomaniacs ... “You see” , the doctor would say, “he/she has a problem your honour, they are a kleptomaniac, it wasn’t their fault, they need help”. And so the poor little criminal gets off and walks away sniff sniff “I have a problem, please help me”. What rubbish, this so-called “I have a problem” syndrome completely absolves the criminal from taking personal responsibility for their actions. “It’s not me”. And the law makers of Europe and even here in ZA and elsewhere have been so brainwashed by their compatriots in the medical profession - also included in this bunch are the “no spanking” your kids group – that even the “normal” population has been duped and buys into this deception. Sigh, ah well either you want justice for the victim or not I suppose.
